  1. Of course it being implemented right now doesn't mean we'll get it next episode for sure. The team might run into issues and it might get pushed back. Although I'd find it very difficult that it would be pushed back, although knowing how much Ame loves us she might hold off on the Z-ring until a later episode (while adding the moves just to tease us and letting every hard trainer get a Z-move). I mean she did it with the mega ring so it is possible. Although an axe is not guaranteed it is very much expected. Wingull can be obtained before the first gym, not to mention Pelipper got an additional 10 points in its SpA. That thing is getting axed into oblivion (and by that I mean around Luna's gym), I can't see us having access to Drizzle so early on in the game. Also, Ame did say that custom shinies would be added as well in the next episode, it is in the e17 status thread under the Sprite section. Probably once the team finishes all the new sprites Ame will make a thread about it on the Public Development sub-forum. EDIT: LOL I'm blind, for some reason I read "does mean" as "does not mean". So ignore that part of the post, although as I said it is not a guaranteed axe.
  2. Umm, Ame made a post in the dev blog saying that most of gen 7 will be added. This is going to happen in the next episode (E17), she even showed us A-Ninetales' sprite so Alolan forms are definitely coming. Also Z moves should be coming as well, they are being implemented atm. I'm not sure where you got all of this information, but it is incorrect. Obviously the Z-Moves in Reborn will have a more simple animation than the ones found in the official games.

    Ice Types

An Ice type won't cut it for the Garchomp. You'll have to use another tactic, my suggestion is to find a Murkrow (it should be available at this point) and give it Prankster + Perish Song (you'll have to trade in a Swablu to breed the move onto it though). If you want an Ice type for your team however, I suggest a Swinub since Piloswine is pretty strong and soon enough you'll be able to evolve it into a Mamo (just remember to give it Icicle Crash). Or if you don't want to wait for the move relearner you can breed AncientPower onto to it via a Dunsparce.
  4. Every change to the old pokemons will be implemented in the game. This means Drizzle Pelipper, Cursed Body Gengar, stat changes, moveset changes, etc. This could also mean a rebalancing of where older pokemon will be found in the game (such as axing Wingull until a much later point in the story). New pokemon will be retroactively added into the existing parts of the game, so we won't have to wait until E17 content to find G7 mons. I guess the Alolan Forms will be introduced in the same way as the gen VII pokemon, through in-game events or just finding them in the wild (such as finding A-Vulpix and A-Sandshrew in Ametrine). The new starters are going to be available right at the start of the game with the rest of starters.
  5. So I just beat Luna and got my 9th gym badge. I passed through the story part involving the sanctum, but I still can't seem to find the read out for the Holy Field. Does anyone know where it is? Can I get it at this point in the game? Thanks!
  6. You can find it in Tanzon Cove in the morning IIRC. It has a low encounter rate though.
  7. A careful natured (+SpD) Hydreigon holding an Assault Vest can actually tank a Moonblast from a Frostales. Also, for anyone unaware. Gen 7 has been confirmed for the next episode, Ame made a post about it in the Dev Blog.
  8. I guess Rock Climb being post game is confirmed then. Seriously though, I expect it to only be available after the last gym.
  9. My only issue with getting the Mega Stone in episode 17 is that it would give us access to two extremely strong pokemon: M-Heracross and M-Pinsir. You shouldn't use Smogon tiers to judge how good a pokemon is in-game, because for example Greninja is a pokemon from the Uber tier, but it's mediocre until very late game. That being said the two mega bugs are just way too strong, they hit really hard and Pinsir is fast enough to outspeed almost the entire game (except for the fast pokemons that the leaders have). If they weren't included in the list of available mega stones then I'd agree whole heartedly with your proposal, but I just can't see them not being utterly broken. That being said, I'd say to axe these two stones and give use the M-Ring next episode. Also, we still don't have Gyarados, so why should we get the mega bugs?
  10. To start the quest line you need to talk to Simon in the Tanzan Meteor base, and it becomes inaccessible at the point you are in the game. Try getting help in the troubleshoot forum.
  11. The amount of shards for an ability capsule should reset everyday. So if you change the date in your computer you should be able to buy a capsule for 2 green shards repeatedly.
  12. I agree with the post above, Pachirisu is really weak at this point in the game, you should consider dropping it for a stronger electric type like Magnezone or Ampharos. Magnezone has access to thunder wave, and when you combine it with Sturdy it means you have a guaranteed paralyze in any pokemon that gives your team trouble (or the OP pokemon like the PULSEs). On that note, your team seems to lack a lot of STAB coverage, considering every single one of them can only use one STAB type (since Roserade/Roselia don't learn any poison attacks). I'd suggest replacing Ursaring for something that can add a bit more coverage to your team like a Scrafty. Fighting/Dark STAB would really help round out the coverage in your team allowing you to hit ghosts, dark, psychic, normal, etc which are typings your team seems to struggle with offensively. If you want to I'd recommend giving it some egg moves, especially dragon dance and maybe one of the elemental pucnhes. With DDance, Scrafty becomes a fearsome sweeper that can tear through teams. Another good dark type option is Krook, it really put in a lot of work in my mono ground playthrough. If you can get its Moxie going, it can easily sweep entire teams. EDIT: Forgot to say that the Sludge Bomb TM is still unavailable, so sadly you won't be able to teach Vetch any poison type attacks.

  14. You can buy it in 7th street.
  15. Considering both Pinsirite and Heracronite are available already, I really don't expect the Mega Ring until at the very earliest the Elite Four. Having Mega Pinsir/Heracross would be too OP, so either those stones gets the axe or the Mega Ring is postponed until the last episode.
  16. I can confirm that the lax incense comes from the Wasteland.
  17. The only incenses I know the location of are the Rose incense (found next to Laura's house in Tanzan Cove) and the Full incense (in a trash can in the Spyce restaurant).
  18. I did clearly say in my post that early game Charmander is a beast. But like the post above me said you are putting way to much weight on early game. There are plenty of mediocre pokemon that shine in the early parts of the game like Trubbish/Garbodor and Kricketune. Would we have a discussion saying that Kricketune is better than Blaziken in-game? I don't think so, because everyone knows that mid to late game it becomes useless. On that note, mid to late Charizard is outclassed by so many Fire and Flying pokemon it isn't even funny. Also why would anyone ever would want to use Charizard as a mixed attacker? We would have to depend on its mediocre base 84 attack stat, it is much better as a special attacker with Heat Wave and Air Slash. The fact is that mid-to-late game Charizard falls behind than most of the starters (if we don't consider Megas). Don't shrug off saying that late game isn't as important, and you completely ignored the mid game when we still don't have access to many pokemon. Early game can be just as easy (if not easier) than late if you use the right pokemon. Florinia is completely swept by a Kricketune, while ground types make quick work of Corey. I don't think being good in the first 3 gyms classifies Charmander as the best in-game starter.
  19. 1. Up until now I still haven't experienced any windy weather, my game save has almost 30 hours of playtime. 2. I've been stuck with Rainy weather for quite some time, although right now I have clear weather (in Reborn City). But in the other regions I still have rain. 3. I haven't checked the forecasts much, but the few times I saw them they seemed to match the weather. 4. As some people said above me, some of the weather related events seem wonky. I also experienced some weird things related to weather events, such as Hoppip showing up on a rainy day and the ice cream truck showing up on a snowy day (in Opal Ward). Another weather related thing that I noticed is that at least in my save file the weather in Aventurine/Route 1 seems very bizarre. There are some entrances in South Aventurine that changes my weather to rain, while others change it to clear skies. This happens every time I go through these entrances (I can post screenshots as to which entrances I'm referring to if you want).
  20. The PULSE pokemon are always shiny though. Every single one of them.
