I think you might be mixing up Desolation with Rejuvenation. Rejuvenation has acts and is in act 2 right now, but I don't think Desolation was ever mentioned to have acts.

I can't play this game because my phone's internal battery is dead I think? (the battery had been dead for a few days and now it doesn't even turn on to the screen that shows there's not enough battery to use it) and when I tried on my ipod it said I need ios 8 or higher. IIRC I have ios 4.something. I can't update because a charger I used to have for it that went into the computer stopped working and that was how I updated the ios (I can't do it on the ipod itself like I can with phone). The only charger that works with the ipod is the one on the alarm clock. But someone I know played the game and said it's free to play, but the only way to battle and train is with real money. and the gyms are controlled by real people and are the only way to battle since you can't battle the wild Pokemon. The only concept I can think of off the top of my head I'd be absolutely against is an actual human Pokemon. I'm fine with human shaped ones like the Hitmons, Mr. Mime, etc. But an actual human Pokemon just sounds weird.

The Magma Stone choice was actually pretty easy for me to make. I did what the Eldest wanted, which is also what the best way out of that kind of situation is. You have a hostage? I don't care and the hostage doesn't care, you're not negotiating with me. That being said, V8's split sounds really heavy. I'm guessing it could lead to a conflict within our group, or maybe endanger innocent people. When V6 came out I was kind of reluctant to start a new file because I don't usually like doing everything all over again. But when I did, playing through felt like a whole new experience. After that, I thought I wouldn't really have a reason to start over again, but V7 gave one when I missed the Weird Diary. And now with V8, I'll be playing from the beginning again for the new Terajuma. Aquamarine Cave sounds pretty, and better than what Jirakula Cavern was. Couldn't stand going through that place and it's why the Venam/Amber CD conflict is my least favorite part of the game. It felt like not having eaten for days and having food, but the food is a soggy peanut butter and jelly sandwich that's been in a bucket of dirty water and is being offered by a homeless man with a creepy expression who's pretty dirty (and possibly deranged) himself. It seems like Rejuvenation always has good reasons to play through it again.

I just realized we don't even know what Team Xen is trying to do. We know they have the Dimensional Rifts and they have some plan involving Melia, but we don't know their overall goal.

The lacking fight response sounds plausible, but they did have their Pokemon out when reaching Sigmund at the orphanage (and Charlotte burned him with her cigarette).

I think I'll be dropping out of nations. My sleeping schedule has gotten pretty erratic the past week. I haven't even really been sleeping, I just take around 4 or 5 3-4 hour naps throughout the day. Not really sure how long this'll last, but it could be an issue with scheduling matches in the future, seeing as I've repeatedly dozed off during conversations with people. Also while the challenges are creative and fun to watch people plan for, I'm not sure I have the mental energy to always keep track of and make sure I'm prepared for everything the opponents will throw at us. (case in point, my week 4 battle where Sigilyph destroyed me) Good luck to Gaia Nation in their future battles, and to all other nations too.
