Yeah, it makes sense for the main character to be a light since we're the protagonist. I also think we might be getting Xerneas sometime during the main story because the icon for the Rejuvenation game file (like how Reborn's is a dark Poke Ball) is Xerneas. Maybe Xerneas represents a light and Yveltal represents a shadow, which Madame X could be because she has it. I kind of wonder what the Light qualities are. It's known that the shadows are Obsession, Greed, Betrayal, and Raw Evil, but the lights aren't known. Maybe the opposite of the shadow traits?

I don't really think the telling players move effectiveness is handholding, since most people who aren't completely new to Pokemon know the type chart anyway. The game telling me what I already know isn't going to make it easier. And new players would probably just look up effectiveness on the internet, so this just saves them a few seconds of searching and reaching a conclusion they would've reached either way. I agree about Hau, though. I find it kind of odd we've only been shown one rival, who uses the type weak to ours, and it doesn't seem like anyone else was present at the starter choosing. You could be right about Lillie becoming a trainer later on but either way, I hope there's more than just Hau.

Yeah, at first I thought it looked kind of Bug/Ground, but after reading that description I think it'll become Bug/Electric.

I think the OP is referring to the "Doxy" trainers. I googled doxy when first seeing one because I'd never heard the word and apparently it's another word for prostitute.

So I'm reading info on Pokebeach and apparently the developers said Solgaleo and Lunala will tie in to the story in a unique way not done before, and also that Zygarde will be involved in a special way. So there's something for all of us wondering why Zygarde didn't get a Z game.

Would be awesome if Popplio becomes Water/Fairy. . o . Stakeout is a cool ability. It's basically Pursuit but with everything. And Soul Heart is a special Moxie that includes teammates. Pekipek is cute and Yungoos has a scary mouth. Grubbin kind of looks like a Bug/Ground Shelmet with pincers. The festival with the guardian deity whose name I can't remember seems interesting. I wonder if that guardian deity will make an appearance in game. I really like the looks of the Lass trainer. I wanted to show a friend, but unfortunately couldn't find any pics on the net besides one where the player is standing near her, which is a really zoomed out pic.
