I don't think we're going there yet. The V8 teaser had someone saying to stop the train, so I imagine something will happen to delay our trip. Grand Dream City has been hyped up as this really big city, and Jan said V8 is possibly the shortest version to date (rhyme intentional), so I imagine GDC has a lot of content and wouldn't fit into a short version.

I am making one, and my inspirations would probably be Ame and Jan. If it wasn't for Ame, I would've never known about any of this to begin with and if it wasn't for a fan named Jan making a game just as detailed inspired from Reborn, I never would've thought I could create one myself. There's a human-shaped pineapple with a triangular head at your door. Do you let the triangular pineapple person in?

I think they're all adorable and I'm still undecided. I tend to have a Water bias with starters (I picked Water in 4/6 regions and Fire in the other two), but I could see myself using any of these three and possibly even making a file for each, which I haven't done since RSE.

I don't think there'll be a Caitlin because that name's already taken and they seem to try to avoid reusing names (Proton's Japanese name is Lance and it was changed to avoid confusion with the dragon E4/Champ)

I find it interesting that Rowlet is the only starter that was shown using a new move. Litten had Ember and Popplio had Water Gun. I wonder if they get their own new moves a few levels later.

Given that Team Meteor destroyed and polluted both land and water, do you think that if they were based in Hoenn, Team Aqua and Team Magma would set aside their differences and work together to stop them?

Also, I just realized this is the second gen where the Grass starter has a dual typing while the other two don't. It happened in Gen 1 with Bulbasaur being Grass/Poison. Bulbasaur and Rowlet are also the only two starters to be dual-typed in their first stage.

In ORAS, it was explicitly said by Archie/Maxie that in order to revert the world back to where it was, Primal Kyogre/Groudon "brings death to every life form on the planet". Granted, Lavender Town/Pokemon Tower was even darker than that and so are some Pokedex entries.

Yay, the teasing is finally done The starters are adorable and I'm legitimately not sure which one I want. I've always had a clear preference before (which sometimes changed when seeing evolved forms), but if the middle and final stages deliver than I could see myself playing three files for each of them. The player characters look kind of bland, but it's nice to see customization is back. Both the legendary mascots are majestic. The region seems small compared to other regions, but maybe we didn't see the full map. It also definitely seems like the region the NPC with the strange souvenir was talking about, based on the totems/statues. Alomomola should be part of the regional dex.

IIRC, you need to win 5 battles and then talk to the guy sitting on the couch near the entrance to get into the High Roller battles. Also, you need to have rescued Emily.
