Wispy Path has a place called Wispy Ruins, and in Wispy Ruins is a Ladder. You'll need Rock Climb and Surf to navigate Wispy Ruins, which you won't get until later (Surf after gym battle 5, Rock Climb after gym battle 7). In Amethyst Cave, there are rooms with gemstones (I think you'll need Surf for these too) and a room where a Team Xen grunt is looking for them. When you get the gemstones, a path opens up, there's a scene in the next room, then there's a graveyard. One of the tombstones, I believe the top left, leads to a passage down. You need the Ladder and a Pokemon that knows Dig to get down, and then you get the TM for Shadow Ball underneath the tombstone.

I don't remember a voice like that at Terra's world. Just after leaving the place with the fancy name. Meloetta is a cool idea, though.

The most recent egg thief calls you a lady if you play as female. Apparently this accidentally happens with all genders, but Ame said he's only supposed to flirt with females. Also if you play as non-binary, it changes some of Cain's dialogue when Adrienn explains pronouns.

idk if it's final, but in the alpha that was shown a few weeks ago, you could choose any Gen 1-5 starter by interacting with its final evolution.

@gangs: I didn't join the gang until the game required it, and GG just didn't mention gangs at all. Also this is widely known, but winning or losing to Solaris at Pyrous Mountain changes some dialogue for an E15 scene.

I usually just go with it. If I don't feel like doing something, I don't feel like doing it. If it gets really bad, I ask myself "How will I ever get to enjoy the destination if I don't even prepare for the journey?" Granted I don't have actual responsibilities, so I'm probably not the best person to take advice from on this.

It taught me the names of a lot of different kinds of crystals, since all the areas are named after them. I learned I've been pronouncing amethyst wrong. I always thought it was "a-my-thist". I learned that Giga Drain isn't a TM anymore. Also, I learned that Quash is a TM. I learned than an epic raid doesn't necessarily have to conclude with a boss battle against the person in charge (I thought during the orphanage scene I'd have to battle Sigmund when I got to his office, but what actually happened was even better). I learned to take yes/no choices seriously, and not assume it's a rhetorical question that'll loop until I tell the game what it wants to hear. I should probably just assume that everything that happens later will be a result of something I did or didn't do earlier on. I learned that fangames can have ideas just as creative as the official games. The field effects are so detailed, and I've never seen any idea close to it. I learned that even the grunts, who don't even have names in the official games, can have a story to tell about who they are and why they do what they do. I learned about xe/xyr/xem pronouns. I knew about people that didn't identify as male and female, but most of the ones I know use "they", so I hadn't heard of these before.

I remember that girl in Snowpoint City who'd trade you a Haunter for a Medicham...and the Haunter had an Everstone! It's more possible to "catch them all" in some fangames than it is in the official games.
