  1. I beat Bugsy with just a Chikorita (no healing items) twice
  2. Seasons - It's a neat addition to the atmosphere, but annoying if you want to get into certain areas. Pokemon Following You - It's cute, but it's not as important to me as it is for some other people. I've heard some people haven't played games after HGSS just because Pokemon don't follow you anymore. Contests/Concerts - I love Contests, and was happy to get to do them again in ORAS, especially with the epic finishing moves each type has. I never did concerts, and I didn't like when Bianca dragged you along to get an introduction to them in BW. Puddles - I thought it was neat that they thought of puddle encounters. Fog - I only use moves with 100 accuracy, so this annoyed me. Luckily there was a move to get rid of it and it only showed in three places, only one of which had trainer battles. I hope it doesn't return. Two other forgotten HMs are Whirlpool and Rock Climb. Trainer customization - I love this feature, but judging by what Game Freak said, it'll probably be Kalos exclusive Roller skating might be too. Underground mining - I liked this. It's a good way to get rare items. Secret Bases - I like the concept, but haven't gotten around to making one yet. Rebattling Gym Leaders - I seriously don't understand why they didn't put these in ORAS. Battle Frontier - See above. GF said it was because kids these days are always going from one thing to the next and have hundreds of games on their phone to play, so they wouldn't appreciate it. But those people probably also wouldn't fully appreciate contests and secret bases, or even make it to the Champion. There was an NPC in XY who said his region has a facility you wouldn't believe, so hopefully that's hinting at something like it. Bug Catching Contests & Pokeathlon - I never really did the bug catching contests, but I know a lot of people liked them. I did the Pokeathlon just to get a Fire Stone to evolve Vulpix. Game Corner - I think this was taken out because parents complained it promoted gambling? I wish they didn't listen to the people saying that. It's like saying playing the games promotes things like dogfighting because the Pokemon battle each other. I don't even understand how gambling is wrong in the first place.
  3. I guess this would be my ideal life: I enter an elevator. Inside the elevator, it's snowing. There's someone else here, who becomes my client that I make coffee for. He has a stuffed koala. Just as I finish making the coffee, he realizes he forgot something in his car. The koala loses faith and swallows him whole. I ask the koala what I'm supposed to do with this cup of coffee now that my client is incapable of drinking it. The koala says "Just splash it on somebody, I guess" and vanishes through the elevator walls. I exit. In the hotel lobby, I meet that guy that's on the "Aliens" meme pictures. I don't say anything, but he mentions that there's freshly baked peanut butter brownies in the cafeteria, so that's where I go. I eat some of them, then I head outside. I think to myself how I'm always mixing up automatic doors and revolving doors. I fall asleep as soon as I get outside, just now noticing I don't have the coffee anymore. I wake up in a stadium where a rock-paper-scissors tournament is taking place. I end up making it to the third-last round (semi-semifinal?) where I lose to some freckled kid who goes a second after me. I'm pissed that my opponent cheated, but I don't want to make a scene and I did well enough overall in the tournament to be satisfied, so I turned around to leave. Just then, the coffee cup, the koala, and his animal friends burst onto the scene. The coffee cup calls out my opponent. "Hey motherfucker, you cheated!" The coffee cup goes a round with the cheater and wins, with close supervision to ensure he doesn't cheat again. I'm put back in the tournament, and make it to the finals where it's me vs the coffee cup. "Did you think you'd go home because of some pathetic fraud? I'm your real final opponent!" Every time, we pick the same thing. This ends up going on for 10 hours, with strong gusts of wind bouncing around the stadium because of the intensity of our match. By the end of it, we're standing atop platforms pushed upwards by tornadoes, and we pass out from exhaustion. The koala says that both of us did good. The scene cuts to me, the coffee cup, and the koala + animal friends eating waffles. We'll have many more adventures together.
  4. I'm not sure if you saw the edit to my post (it seems you like were typing as I edited, judging by the times) but I can't exit the place where you work at.
  5. In the Pokemon Center, it's possible to walk through the black space and stand next to the Pokemart clerk behind the stand. Also when you try to go upstairs, you just walk past the stairs and into the black space. Also I'm unable to exit the place where you work at.
  6. TIL that octopuses can solve rubix cubes.
  7. Granted. It's maple syrup. I wish somewhere in the world in a hidden place that requires an extremely weird, specific circumstance to come across, there's a giant nose with a smiley face and eyes. Whenever in the presence of it, Call Me Maybe plays.
  8. I'd like to apply to be a Crescent grunt. Crescent Grunt Isabelle Open: I'm an ice cream sand witch. Close: I've got brainfreeze. Vanilluxe, Mismagius, Snorlax, Lickilicky, Frost Rotom, Claydol
  9. I worked on my game. I finished overworld sprites for a character, made some edits to a map, and am going to make the next map soon. Do you have any stuffed animals?
  10. Nothing. How many lightbulbs does it take to change a lightbulb?
  11. I checked on my older file. You go back to the villa, everyone's down in the dumps, someone (I forget who) mentions another entrance into the mountain which is the door in Crawli's gym, you go through there, then you get Magma Drift from Saki when she busts down the wall. (apparently she drilled through the frozen tm shop)
  12. In the WTC, she said she's been paying them for information.
  13. I worked on my game some more, and today I ate cake and pizza because it's my birthday.
  14. I think I remember the Magikarp thief in 7th street calling me a lady.
  15. If Pokemon has taught me anything, it's that a cookie made of lava can heal burns. If Pokemon has taught me anything, it's that one way to slay a dragon is to use another dragon.
