Usually I'm fond of boosting my stats and then using high powered moves (with 100 accuracy), lowering the opponent's stats, and status conditions. That's in boss battles like Gym Leaders and such. Against ordinary trainer classes I usually just hit them until they faint.

Time is weird in video games. It probably takes several hours to climb all the way up a mountain, but playing the game it doesn't take that long because (most?) games aren't designed to have you spend several hours just getting through one area. Just like you don't eat or sleep in most games unless you choose to or the plot requires it in a specific instance. Anyway, I'd guess a few weeks.

-Whenever someone addresses you by name they call you /PN. In order for it to show as the player's name, the backslash needs to be the other way. It should be \PN. -There's a box with a Poke Ball that gives an error when clicked on -The Move Relearner can offer to teach you a move before you get your first Pokemon -When you jump down the sewers after the guy wants the Eevee back, there's an empty dialogue box Other than that, it seems interesting so far and the title screen is really well done
