  1. The closest to impossible for me personally are the Radomus chess puzzles, since I don't know anything about chess. Elias's explanation doesn't help because it's too much info for my brain to process at once. I just look up Lostelle's solution video for it. My learning process with games goes something like: I read how things work and retain a little of it (maybe 5-10%), and the rest I either gradually learn over time or look up something specific if I'm confused on how it works. It's easier for me to learn by actually doing something than by reading about it, because I'm a visual learner. Ame once said if she knew how many people hadn't played chess before, she wouldn't have used the chess puzzles at all, but that she had assumed almost everyone has played it. But since she redesigned Serra's gym in E15 to have puzzles where it didn't before, I don't see why Radomus's gym can't be redesigned to have a different puzzle or no puzzle for that reason. I guess it's not that big a deal anyway since Lostelle's videos exist.
  2. Hi! By console controller support, do you mean the ability to play with video game controllers like Xbox, Playstation, etc.? I'm not really sure if RPG Maker games have that ability, or how to hook up the controllers if so. I also don't really know anything about controller support on a personal level either; I know there are people who use game controllers to play PC games but I don't know how to do that myself (or have any working controllers I'd be able to use if I did). Sorry that I wasn't able to answer your question. Maybe there's someone else here who knows more about controllers and how/if they work with RPG Maker. ( @Punkeev might know? I remember you mentioned looking for a way to play DRV3 with Xbox controllers once) edit @MycenaeanGal for error documentation, there's a bug reporting thread that has a list of the known bugs, but I haven't heard of any issues with sleep-causing moves. There have been a few people who had errors with their save file after editing Pokemon, but it's also possible there's an error with sleep-causing moves. Would you able to explain what happened with Lovely Kiss? Also, I'd be willing to help fix your save file if you upload it in the save file troubleshooting thread.
  3. To evolve Swirlix, you need to use a Whipped Dream on it. You can buy Whipped Dream at the candy shop in Olidroll City, which is where the 6th and 7th gyms are.
  4. There was a glitch or oversight in V9 and in V10 beta where the scene didn't show. If someone sees that scene after revisiting, it's possible they have a file from V9 and are seeing it now because they didn't get to see it before.
  5. Emerald one is called the Emerald Brooch. We got the Sapphire Bracelets after Titania's gym battle, but I can't remember if ownership passed in E18 or not. I think it might've been discussed when Laura and Bennett were talking, but I don't remember for sure. Blake tried to take the Ruby Ring in E14, but Heather and Cal showed up at the top of the mountain and charged at him until he gave it up. I think Heather still has it now, but I'm not 100% sure.
  6. Found a solution for the empty tile that can't be walked through in Gellene Town: I placed an NPC there. Added a new section to the first post called "Oversights", for things that aren't necessarily glitches but weren't intended and need correction, like the two that are mentioned where a Pokemon has a move that it can't use due to its held item.
  7. Have you delivered the Loudred to the girl in the Jasper Ward yet? After you do, you can give her the Jigglypuff. She wants it to help quiet down the noise from Loudred. Eustace is on top of the building in the Onyx Ward where you can go to the roof.
  8. I'm not 100% sure, but the way this is worded makes me think it's satire.
  9. You can still use Rare Candies to go over the hard level cap in order to get a move or evolve a Pokemon, and then Common Candy them back down.
  10. I just had a dream about an hour ago I was playing a video game where you explore four different oceans in a boat. The interesting thing about this game is that while it had a story, the main objective was to collect all the shiny stars, and that was what was considered game completion. It was possible to find all the shiny stars without ever doing a single story event (though you could happen to stumble on some of the story events while exploring). At one point, I saw a bunch of shiny stars all clustered together in a shallow section of water near some sand, with "X5" next to them (meaning they were each worth 5 shiny stars) and was like so I went to collect them. I got them all, then went back to the boat and kept exploring. In one of the seas, I happened upon a story event related to the main villain, the Slime Man. The Slime Man was a blob that would always make the game graphics tv staticy/glitchy when he appeared. The scene I saw was him through a screen acknowledging the player's presence in his sea and sending some ships after us. This game didn't have any switches or variables associated with the story, meaning you could find the story events out of place from chronological order, and what I saw was an endgame scene when I hadn't done anything else story-related yet. I also remembered (idk where I got the information) that in some situations the Slime Man has the ability to glitch your save file and force you to start over. I sailed as fast as I could to the south ocean because of that and the enemies being too strong for me. Immediately when I got to the south ocean, I encountered a pirate ship belonging to this ocean's boss. I don't remember much of the conversation with the pirates, but it could be summarized as "You're in our territory, so behave yourself." I do remember hearing a recording of the pirate boss speaking through some kind of device, saying "I'm gonna get the Slime Man!" This recording played every few minutes. This pirate boss and the Slime Man were enemy gang leaders, but the Slime Man was much stronger. The dream ended shortly after while I wandered around the sea trying to avoid the pirate boss's ships.
  11. Southwest in the part where the Toy Box is, near a dumpster across from Mika's Coffee.
  12. The BCC update + sidequest is finished! I really like how it turned out. I actually combined it with another idea I had: plates given by Gym Leaders in postgame sidequests, as an alternative to mining for them. I already had some ideas for more sidequests involving Gym Leaders, and I can use plates as a reward. Tomas is involved in the BCC sidequest, and gives you the Toxic Plate at the end of it. The player will be able to obtain a plate from every Gym Leader/type this way through these sidequests. This also means the Angela sidequest I mentioned a while ago isn't going to be early on as originally planned; it's postgame now since the reward for it will be the Sky Plate. The BCC sidequest still has its own mention in the first post under final reupload progress, since it was planned before the plate sidequests were, and getting the Toxic Plate isn't the main point of the quest. Most of the other plate sidequests have been planned out by now too. (Violet is the name of the agent who stays behind at the BCC and gives the player Pyukumuku)
  13. I think the mod team here does our best to make sure the site is organized and the community is safe. We're currently dealing with some forum bugs like recent user activity not showing up in profiles, and no matter how many times Ame updates the site or contacts software support, that never fixes the issues. But she hasn't given up on finding a solution. We also hope that users feel like they can approach us when they have an issue or suggestion.
  14. I just remembered another one I had. This one is from February. I was exploring what might be considered a level or dungeon in a video game (I wasn't playing a video game in the dream, it was first-person, but the layout was similar). The main place I seemed to go to and from was a cafeteria that was always packed. There were a few rooms that led in and out. For my first trip from the cafeteria, I went into a room where I ran into a person who was a fusion of Hardy from Reborn and Blue from the official games, who claimed to serve Lin. After I beat him in a battle, he revealed himself to be a robot created by Lin and ran off. There was another room I could go to from this room, but I needed a key. I went back to the cafeteria to go to another room to find the key, but first decided to get some pasta. Unfortunately, for some reason whenever I got pasta it would always slide off the plate onto the table, and I kept having to move around because of how crowded the cafeteria was. At one point I dropped pasta on the floor and was also knocked down to the floor myself by people pushing through. That's where the dream ended.
  15. I'm not sure; I don't really know which Pokemon appear where or what's been changed between episodes. I don't really have a need to keep track of that since nowadays I just open fangames in RPG Maker and use debug mode to automatically give myself any Pokemon I want. (normally when I don't know the answer to a question I just don't answer it since it'd be disappointing to get an answer like "I don't know", but I'm answering since you quoted me)
  16. Yes, the Lost Railcave is what used to be called Mysidia Railcave. All references to Mysidia in area names and NPC speech were removed because Mysidia used to be a site associated with the Reborn site (I think back when we were called Pokeplace), but as the community grew and older members left or moved on, there were less people around who would get the references. There's other references to sites and community members that were removed for this reason too.
  17. Jan prefers to not use music from other game series to avoid having to deal with any more possible copyright issues than the ones that normally come from making a fangame.
  18. I can verify that Caz's account isn't deleted at least. With deleted accounts, the username shows as "Guest", they have a blank avatar, and you can't click on their profile. It's a forum bug that I reported in the staff channel on discord after seeing the posts here, then learned that another member reported it to the staff recently too. Members also aren't able to delete their own accounts; only admins have that ability. A user would need to contact an admin to have their account deleted, and when that happens we usually say so in the staff channel (or at least I have when two members asked me to have their account deleted and I pinged an admin so it could be done). @MC1999 you can buy evolution stones from a shop in Cellia after doing a sidequest where you help her get her stock back from the Black Foxes, but that's after Emily. I'm not sure if a Dawn Stone is available before Emily.
  19. About the legendaries, I remember Ame saying that she was considering grouping related ones (like the legendary birds) into one quest or area.
  20. I'm caught up with the bugs in the thread now. I've fixed everything that I know how to fix at the moment, except for the Route 2 on the map because I don't remember how to delete those, but I'll probably remember sometime or can ask. Thank you for the advice about adding the templates. I'll probably do one page a day, though I edited/added to some of the personal data templates earlier.
  21. I plan on doing the others too! I started with Emily because I noticed she had a personal data template already there and I'm not sure how to add those templates myself. I also added a few things not stated ingame like her age (and the player's age, in the trivia section).
  22. It's going to be the last reupload/episode, yeah.
  23. Thank you for all your reports! I'm still behind on fixing things, but I plan to go through the thread and fix everything mentioned here by tomorrow (along with adding all of it to the known bugs list). And that's awesome that you've made a wiki for Spork (and with 74 pages already)! I don't have much experience with wiki editing but I'd be willing to help if needed! ^^ I don't know how long you've been working on this, but I looked through some of the pages and was impressed at how all the areas already had their item, Pokemon, and trainer details filled in. Since you've done a pretty good job with the locations and it seems like the characters pages are pretty recent, I can focus on the characters if that would help.
