  1. This was it. I didn't notice it earlier, but the shiny Cottonee backsprite was positioned way lower than the normal one. I recolored the normal one to the shiny colors, then copy/pasted the normal one back over and tested both, so this is fixed now for the next reupload.
  2. Maybe clicking the refresh button in the folder would work? I'm not 100% sure though as this is the first time something like this has been reported.
  3. That's strange; I looked and its shiny backsprite is in the Battlers folder. Do you have this picture in Graphics -> Battlers?
  4. Spork isn't a ROM hack; it's made in RPG Maker and works on PC. You need to download from the download link, extract the folder, and in the extracted folder is a program called "Game". Double clicking that will open the game.
  5. I'm currently working on a reupload that will add more side content but the main story is complete.
  6. Do you have the Mining Kit? You get it from the couple in Umira after doing the Wonky Woods ranger quest.
  7. Lava Cookies can be bought in Olidroll's candy shop, and I think also the Sea Star Society Food Section and Cianosa's cafe. The plates are obtained by mining in Melodic Mines. The spots where you can mine are where the white circles are.
  8. I forgot to mention, but I can also change the nature for you if you send me your save file.
  9. In order to use mega evolution, you need the Mega Ring. The Mega Ring is obtained between the 15th and 16th gyms. This question is answered in part of the announcement 6 posts above yours: there will be one in the next reupload (which will likely be either later August or September).
  10. Battle Frontier: Hemola Swamp (just north of the entrance): @Screenslaver have you tried to evolve any other Pokemon, and if so, does it happen with them too?
  11. A NEW IDOL GROUP TAKES THE STAGE ♫ After singing all the songs that the player can sing on their own, you'll be able to form an idol group with the fruit-based characters! The name of the group is Smoothie because smoothies are made by blending fruit! Palletite decided to make idol costumes for the player characters as well! I think they all turned out amazing, and Palletite's passion for idols definitely shows in the sprites! In the idol group Smoothie, Orange is the center because she's the most outgoing/sociable one, but everyone has a singing part. I'm not close to finished with this event yet; for now I got to a point where I had enough to make an announcement. I liked the idol costumes so much that I wanted to show them here! I also have something else to announce: a few times in the past, I mentioned that a nature changer was something I considered including, but I wanted the player to be able to choose the nature instead of having it be random like in Reborn and Rejuvenation. Cass was able to do this for me today! The nature changer will be outside the Pokemon Center in Umira. There's also a situation that lets you pet the Glaceon! In addition, I said it's possible I'll have more ideas for side content for the next reupload too, and I do have a few more ideas. I'm feeling super motivated, and I'm having a lot of fun with making Smoothie's song! I'd like to once again thank Palletite for making the player characters' idol costumes, and Cass for adding a nature changer that lets the player choose the nature! And here are the idol costumes for the player characters! Fitting in with the fruit theme, Frank represents apple, Sierran represents raspberry, and Spade represents watermelon!
  12. SpriteWindow line 811 (and the rest of the coding it's part of) (the full green text is "navigate to temp folder since game might be on a CD ROM") I guess the game created a temporary folder, and there's something in there about converting gif files to png...? I also see it mentions "Temp" at the end of the location. Searching for "Errno: EINVAL" I'm not really sure what any of this means, though, and this is the first time I've seen this error message...
  13. I just tried with the Fennekin I had in my PC and was able to evolve: Is Fennekin the first Pokemon you've tried to evolve? I'm not sure what could be causing it, but it might be a step towards solving it to know whether it only happens with Fennekin for you or with all Pokemon.
  14. There's an NPC in a house in Liliech City who asks to see Eevee and all of its Eeveelutions. One of the rewards she gives you for doing this is a Lucky Egg. The choice items can all be bought as Battle Frontier prizes. Additionally, Choice Specs can be purchased at the Lucky Lenses shop in Liliech City, Choice Scarfs can be purchased at Wendy's gym, and there's a martial artist NPC in Liliech City who gives the player a Choice Band. There isn't a list of all items or item shops, but there are lists for marbles, TMs, and mega stones. For special items and vendors, off the top of my head there's: -An NPC in Virima City sells incense -The herb shop and berry shop are in Aliora City -An NPC at Bolaii Beach sells evolution stones -The candy shop, Department Store, and Ability Capsule Corp are in Olidroll City -The Battle Mall has NPCs that sell a lot of different items, most notably evolution items and the ones that raise the power of certain types (Mystic Water, Miracle Seed, etc.) -Liliech City has Lucky Lenses and the Ether Foundation, and in Wendy's gym you can buy Silk Scarfs and Choice Scarfs -The Shopping Section of the Sea Star Society has vendors who sell TMs, mega stones, orbs, and gems
  15. The Sun and Moon Shrines are at the Astral Observatory. For the path in Opaque Valley: The entrance is here: and it goes down to here: There aren't. Originally I was going to say that this info was mentioned in the first post, but I looked at the first post and it actually isn't anymore...I've added that to the first post again.
  16. Thank you for letting me know; I'll fix this for the next reupload. Regarding Multi-Attack: According to pokemon.txt, Silvally learns it at level 1, meaning it can be retaught through the move relearner. Serebii says that Multi-Attack is learned on evolution, and I didn't really know how or if Essentials handles those, so for most moves like that I gave it to the Pokemon when they reach their evolution level. Since Type Null evolves through friendship instead of a specific level, I probably decided to just make it level 1 because of that.
  17. It's possible to walk in the water around the whole bridge, yeah. It happens even though the tiles are set to non-passable in the tileset. This happens with some tiles in the Forest of Feeling too, and in Gellene Town the opposite happens with one blank tile where you can't walk through it even though there's no non-passable objects on it. I'm not sure why.
  18. I'm not sure why that would be happening O . O maybe try extracting again? I tested what the above poster said about Christmas Slowking not appearing if the player is Halloween Espurr, and it didn't appear for me either. It also only seems to happen with Halloween Espurr and not other Holiday Pokemon. I'm not sure why, this is strange.
  19. I remember in January after everything was wiped from my laptop and I had to start over after it was fixed, I needed to download an extracting program and had trouble with a few, including both of the ones you mentioned (my issues were different though; IIRC my antivirus thought that the programs were viruses). I asked for help and this was the advice given to me: and it worked. If you haven't tried 7zip, maybe that will work?
  20. Are you not able to download it at all, or can you download it but not play? If it's the second: after downloading, you need to extract the folder, and after it's finished, go into the extracted folder and double click the "Game" program with the orange icon. Were you able to do this and if not, how far were you able to go? If it's the first: I don't really have any ideas about why the download wouldn't be working; are you able to provide more details about what happens? 1. If you haven't already, you can search for legendaries and hunt for marbles. There are notepad files in the game folder with locations/instructions for them ("legendarysidequests" and "marblelocations"). There's also the ranger, police, Pokemon Research Institute, Sea Star Help Section, and Team Portal HQ sidequests, along with a few other smaller ones scattered throughout the game. 2. Do you remember where this was mentioned? Off the top of my head I don't remember anyone mentioning a special training method. I think the closest to a special training method in Spork would be the EV training centers. After the Battle Frontier's grand opening, there's an Audino trainer there that has level 100 Audinos, so that would probably be the fastest way. 3. There isn't a way to reset them in-game, but I can alter them if you send me your save file. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
  21. Good whatever time of day it is for you, Reborn residents! We've got big news for you today! With E18's release drawing near, sure to bring in a wave of new users, we decided that now is a good time to expand our staff team! We've added three new people! Please welcome @Marcello, @andracass, and @DreamblitzX! Marcello was basically staff already, but now he has the official title! Cass has been helping out Ame with Reborn development, and has prior modding experience elsewhere! DreamblitzX has been helpful with answering questions on the forums and submitting reports!
  22. I'm happy you love the game! About those Pokemon, you need to use the item they normally have to hold on them like an evolution stone. For example you'd evolve Onix into Steelix by using a Metal Coat on it, and Dusclops into Dusknoir by using a Reaper Cloth.
