I'm glad to hear the issue is resolved! The intent was for all non-legendary Pokemon to be obtainable as starters. Some people classify Ultra Beasts as legendaries, but I personally don't (aside from Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma). I consider them their own category like the Eeveelutions, starters, etc. In Ultra Space they're ordinary species. Spork takes place after Gen 7, and Ultra Beasts have become a more common sight after Lusamine opened the wormhole + travel between this dimension and Ultra Space was made possible.

That's strange; it's supposed to be the other way around. The only possibility I can think of right now is maybe you pressed the s key at some point? Before I upgraded to Essentials v16.2 which came with the autorun toggle, the s button was used to autorun. If that's the case, maybe pressing s will return things to normal?

I just tested and I was able to switch from running to walking and back again. Do you have the alt/speedup button on? If you do, the game speed might be fast enough that it seems like you're running even when you're walking. If not, I'm unsure what could be causing it as I wasn't able to replicate it.

Reuploaded with this fixed; the issue was that Fletchinder and Talonflame had Big Pecks as their primary ability instead of Flame Body. Fletchling has Big Pecks as its primary ability but that's supposed to change when it evolves, and it didn't before. I think this is something I fixed back in episode 2 or 3...I definitely remember someone mentioning it before. It's fixed now though.

reuploaded with the following fixes: -undefined the movesets of early NPC trainers so that they have their Gen 7 levelup moves by default now -Pollen Puff now works on Grass types. The issue was that it was defined as a spore/powder move. It worked for me with Arbok though before fixing; maybe you mixed Arbok up with a different Pokemon @Filthy Casual? -fixed typo in ICSW's speech in Crystal Caverns: completey -> completely

Pokemon movesets are updated to USUM on all accounts (level up, egg moves, TM), yes. Joltik used to learn Leech Life as a level up move before Gen 7. When leaving a trainer's Pokemon's moveset undefined it uses their most recent level up moves, but when I first started making Spork I didn't know that and thought you had to define everything. So a lot of early NPC trainers Pokemon have their latest levelup moves defined before I realized I didn't need to do that, and since it was Gen 6 at the time, yeah.

No Pokemon is shiny locked. I don't know how to shiny lock and even if I did I wouldn't want to prevent people from getting a shiny of certain Pokemon. It'll never be shiny during the battle, because it's set up as a trainer battle, and trainer Pokemon are never shiny unless they're set that way. But it can be shiny when obtained.

I'm glad you were able to find the space station! That's strange about Pollen Puff though. Bulbapedia says that Pollen Puff is one of the moves Bulletproof blocks, but none of the Pokemon you mentioned have that ability. And I don't think there's any other move or ability that negates Pollen Puff. I'm going to bed but I'll test when I can.

RPG Maker games are for PC and can't be played on mobile. IIRC there have been a few people over the years who tried to make RPG Maker/Essentials fangames playable on mobile but the attempts were not successful. To play, you need to download from the link in the first post, and then when it's finished downloading, extract the files from the folder. Inside the extracted folder, double click the "Game" program with the orange icon to start the game.

It's possible to have multiple save files in Pokemon fangames by going into the C drive on your PC, then Users -> the name of your PC -> Saved Games -> the folder of the fangame in Saved Games -> and then renaming the "Game" data file in there (usually people rename it Game1). Then you can start a new file in the game while still having your old file, and can switch between them at any time by renaming them. I hope that made sense. I'm not very good at wording things + my brain is fried and I'm going to sleep soon (was just checking the forums before sleeping) so if it didn't, here's a video I found that shows the process: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6jzsX4e3sII this video is for Reborn and Rejuvenation but works with Spork too, + all other fangames made using RMXP & Essentials.

reuploaded with the following fixes & updates -fixed Delicia's shiny Mareep in the first and second battle also. Hopefully it should be fixed in every battle now. I hadn't realized I consistently forgot a comma in every battle with her when defining her Mareep's properties, and that's what made it display as a shadow Pokemon instead of a shiny -Goodra now learns Power Whip at level 50 (Gen 7) instead of 55 (Gen 6) -added legendary quest for ZeraoraORAORAORAORAORAORA, which wasn't in before because I forgot it existed

I hadn't intended on doing any outside of the Holiday Pokemon + other special occasions because there's so many Pokemon that it sounds x . x If I did I'd probably mainly focus on ones with shinies that are already very similar to the normal Pokemon like Abra, but for the most part I'll probably stick with the canon shinies.

The entries are mostly what each Pokemon makes me think of when I look at them. Editing them was necessary in order to remove mentions of death, soul-stealing, and similar things that don't exist in Spork. But I do understand why the entries are jarring to people. The Pokedex is supposed to be a device created by professional researchers to record information on Pokemon behavior and habitat, and it's strange seeing what's written there in Spork. I briefly considered just not giving the player a Pokedex to begin with, but that could make it difficult for people to keep track of all the Pokemon they've caught, especially for people who do try to complete the Pokedex. I'm happy you enjoy the game despite the Pokedex weirdness though! ^^

This happened to me once when playing Reborn. In my case it was fixed after restarting, though I don't know if that'll be the same case here. I'm not sure what causes it to happen and whether the issue is with the mouse or if it's just something that happens rarely when playing RPG Maker games like the "script is hanging" error.

Reuploaded with the following fixes/updates: -in the fifth battle with Delicia, her Ampharos is now shiny instead of there being a shadow Pokemon message -Earthquake TM is now in the game; I forgot to add it before -fixed issue with Minior's displayed sprite in shield form -the game no longer crashes when attempting to battle Keldeo -fixed tile passability error with the walls of the Training Centers @J-Awesome One: same here XD edit: reuploaded again fixing Delicia's Ampharos in the third and fourth battles too

Spork is the only game I plan to make, but after the V10 beta testing period Jan also asked me to be an editor of sorts for the Rejuvenation team! My job there is mainly to catch typos and make sure everything is consistent in the story. There will! I plan to add all of Reborn's move animations as they're released.

The final episode of Spork is now publicly released! I started working on Spork in late May of 2015, and didn't think I'd get this far. I had no experience with any part of game-making, and expected to give up within a month. I made the original (now deleted) development topic for Spork when I was still working on it a few months later and had finished mapping for episode 1. I was having fun, but I still had some thoughts sometimes that making a topic for it was digging myself a grave, because I still wasn't 100% sure I'd be able to release an episode. Mapping is just one part of development, and the only one I'd made significant progress in. Episode 1 did eventually happen. It was later than intended (originally I planned for October-November 2015), and it was a trainwreck: there were a lot of bugs that I didn't find during development or testing, some of them game-breaking. Because I can't do art due to lack of motor coordination etc., the sprites were just recolors. The maps had a lot of problems as well, some of which I've improved in and some of which still need improvement: there was a lot of empty space in houses; trees, rocks, and other parts of nature were uniform; and maps were too big in general. A few weeks after the release of episode 1 is when Palletite PM'd me offering sprite assistance. I was really amazed with her sprites and honored that she was willing to devote the time and care into making them for Spork. Palletite has continued to do sprites for Spork from the first episode to the last, and recently with help from her sister Punkeev/Steffi as well. I consider their sprites to be the highest quality aspect of Spork, and the game is so much better because of them. Palletite was actually the main motivational factor for me to continue working on Spork. When I first released episode 1 I was embarrassed at all the glitches, map errors, etc. and thought that people wouldn't enjoy it. But after Palletite started updating the sprites, I wanted to honor her work by continuing to make the game so that the work she put into them would be worth it. Palletite and Punkeev/Steffi have not only helped out with sprites but have been inspirations to me personally too, and I'm very happy I was able to get to meet them through Spork. In addition to Palletite and Punkeev/Steffi, I'd also like to once more thank Kirbie, Yoru91, cybershell12, Solviera, and Candy for their contributions. Kirbie: you gave feedback on my ideas and brought up ideas of your own a lot. I mentioned your idea about the Articuno/Team Portal encounter at Norall Mountain before in the thread along with a conversation we had 4 years ago being the reason I made every non-legend available as a starter, but I forgot to mention you're also the reason for: -1.6 map revamp episode. You not only encouraged me to improve on the maps but gave your own suggestions. -Singing career. Although you didn't suggest it directly, it was inspired when you used it as an example to distinguish between detailed ideas and ideas with no depth/purpose. You also encouraged me to download Essentials in the first place despite my lack of confidence. A lot of other the scenes, features, and details in the game were suggestions you made too. We don't get to talk often nowadays due to issues in your life and sometimes Internet, but I hope you're doing well. Yoru91: when I read your first message (both the title and the content) it made me smile that you enjoyed Spork so much and had detailed backstories for your player characters. The fanart you've done is also amazing, and you've helped out a lot with testing as well. I didn't know back when you first messaged me that we'd still be talking today, and I'm glad we are. cybershell12: even if the French translation had to be cancelled due to unfortunate things that happened causing you to lose data multiple times, I still appreciate that you were willing to do that. I also appreciate your revamps of the badges; they all look really nice and you put a lot of thought into making each one match with the concept and the Gym Leaders. Solviera: I really love the Mega Ampharos sprites you gave me as early birthday presents. After I saw them I thought they'd be perfect for DJ UB and Delicia, and they also fixed the issue of Delicia being the only rival not to get a mega. Although you asked not to give you credit because it was my own decision to include them in Spork, you still deserve credit. It was very nice of you to make them; you're the first person I've met online that gave me birthday presents and they made me happy. Candy: thank you for Delicia's backsprite in Delicia's Delicious Dreamland. Even though you said you're not a spriter, I think it came out well and was definitely better than the version I posted when asking for feedback. Delicia's backsprite was the most challenging part of making Delicia's Delicious Dreamland due to previously mentioned lack of ability to do art well, and I'm thankful that you decided to make a better version after seeing the one I originally did. I would also like to thank everyone again who participated in the video appreciation project for Palletite, everyone who helped out with testing, everyone who plays the game, and everyone who's posted feedback and support in the thread. There were times when I experienced burnout while working on Spork, especially during the end of episode 3. I got from the 9th gym battle to the 10th gym battle in 2 days, and afterwards my arms hurt for a while. Plus a few other instances later where I'd recovered physically but wasn't in the mental state to work on it. Overall though, I'm happy that I was able to see the game through to its end, especially since it was something I thought I wouldn't be able to do. I'm happy that I was able to meet some amazing friends along the way who helped out. I'm happy at all the feedback I've received from the thread. I hope I didn't forget to mention anything or thank anyone ^^; and I hope you enjoy the full game.
