In the US have been to New Orleans, Boston, Baltimore, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Vermont, and Connecticut. I live in Florida and have been a lot of places here too. Outside of the US have been to Niagara Falls in Canada, England, Ireland, and Scotland Got a pretzel-twisting certificate after making a pretzel during a tour of a pretzel factory Could have possibly met Neil deGrasse Tyson if I knew he was going to be nearby sooner Forgot how to lock and unlock doors, forgot that gravity exists, forgot that cats and dogs have paws instead of hands because I forgot that hands and paws were two different things Have been to a specific restaurant in Virginia twice with the visits being several years apart, and had the same waiter both times Fell asleep while I was writing something and ended up writing lyrics to songs in my sleep possibly others that aren't coming to mind right now.

Due to some scary stuff that happened yesterday, I'm back early. I'm safe now and am very happy to be back home Here are some drawings I meant to post some time ago. A little after Strawberry's sprite was finished, a conversation with Punkeev/Steffi encouraged me to draw the fruit-based characters. At first I was going to color them, but I didn't have all the colors. I'm not very good at drawing but maybe they'll make some people smile! ^_^

Hi! I have a lot of things to talk about today. First I'd like to thank the following people for participating in the video appreciation project for Palletite: Ame, DemICE, Monika/Azure, Lykos, Solviera, Amine/MC Kapper, Filthy, Seki108, J-Awesome One, FairFamily, Candy, TeamPlayerSwampert, Maria, Drago, Enigma Shot U, Groniack, Riku/Luciano, NatJones, and kingjrcasanova (and anyone else if I forgot anyone; I'm sorry if I did ^^'). And of course Punkeev/Steffi for coming up with the idea and making the video! Palletite appreciated all of your messages very much. Second: I forgot to mention, but the day before yesterday I reuploaded Delicia's Delicious Dreamland with the new sprites for characters that appear in there, and I also reuploaded Spork with the updated sprites for characters in the public release today too. As for future content, only one sprite is remaining now: Punkeev/Steffi wanted to make some adjustments to Triston. Third: starting tomorrow around noon (EST), I'm going to be away for around a week, and I'll only have mobile internet access and not for long periods of time or very often during the day. I don't really want to go into many details (and I don't honestly know all the details myself), but this wasn't my decision. I'm sad and scared, but I'll do my best to be okay. I apologize in advance if anyone posts in the thread during that time to ask questions, give feedback, or report bugs and it takes me a while to respond. Finally, I'd like to thank Palletite and Punkeev/Steffi again for all of your help. Making sprites (along with art in general) isn't something I can do myself, and I'm very grateful to have such amazing artists on the Spork team. You've both done so much for me even though I'm not able to do anything for you in return, and have been inspirations to me on a personal level as well. I really hope you're able to achieve all of your goals in life.

I have some very exciting news to share today! Palletite has returned! Not only that, but her sister Punkeev is assisting her in making sprites! A lot of progress has already been made, and everything they've done looks amazing. I'm happy that Palletite is feeling better enough to return, and I'm happy to have Punkeev offering assistance as well. (Punkeev also inspired me to start posting again more outside of the Spork thread, haha) Here's one they worked on together that's been finished: Strawberry!

Thank you for letting us know about the out of date links in the directory. I've made some updates to the directory in question: some topics that have newer and updated versions have had their links changed to those, and I deleted a thread that led to a 404 Not Found error. There's one thread that has a newer version that I couldn't update, though, as it's been hidden. A few archived threads I kept in there either because they're still relevant or a newer version hasn't been made by anyone. If you stumble upon any more outdated directories, you can let us know either by making another thread or using the report function on the directory to explain that the links are outdated.

Typing would be Water/Fairy (I'm an ice cream sand witch, but water is actually my favorite element) I don't have exact numbers in mind, but in terms of range... HP: Assuming stamina is a way to measure HP, I'd say around average? The amount of stamina I have really depends on the specific task. There are some things I could do for hours at a time and others I wouldn't be able to handle for even a few minutes. So I'd say that averages out Attack: close to nonexistent Defense: close to nonexistent. Hitting my head on something or banging my knee is enough to have me in serious pain Special Attack: my highest stat. I feel like I'd be good at elemental and distance attacks, and I lean towards those in games Special Defense: higher than defenses, but not as high as Special Attack. I'm able to deal okay with things like weather that I'm not used to Speed: Average or above average -
Thank you! I've reuploaded with this script in fixing the Contrary/Intimidate issue. Oh, the part I used from Reborn was switching hidden abilities for Pokemon with two abilities from the hidden slot to the second slot in pokemon.txt. I originally planned to use Reborn's hidden ability scripts from RPG Maker and Ame tried to help me do so, but it ended up not working since Reborn uses an older version of Essentials and a lot of code has changed since then. IIRC the name and placements of scripts related to hidden abilities in mine were different than in Reborn's.

I understand less, I have zero coding knowledge whatsoever XD Maybe the ! is for if the opponent doesn't have Contrary, since with the section that has Clear Body and other abilities below it, there isn't a ! but instead it goes into more detail about what happens, whereas the Contrary one is just one line followed by something to do with Mist. The Mist seems to be for even more specific situations. Like "this is what will happen if the Pokemon does/doesn't have Contrary and Mist is active", but I could be wrong.

That makes sense, and I think it's most likely the cause. I encountered a few Farfetch'd that had Defiant, and Intimidate activated their ability without any issues, so maybe Defiant has an interaction with Intimidate and Contrary just needs something similar. Intimidate didn't boost Fomantis's Attack after the error message.

I just tested and I didn't get this error: But I noticed that part of that error message mentioned line 744 in BattlerEffects, so I checked the script editor to see what's mentioned there and: Line 744 in BattlerEffects is for the Contrary ability. I know that Crolea's Inkay/Malamar (and a few other trainers' Pokemon) are set to have Contrary, and I've never experienced this error with them nor have I ever edited the Contrary script. It's possible that this error is for some reason exclusive to wild Fomantis with Contrary, or maybe it only happens with wild Pokemon and not trainer Pokemon. Both cases would be strange, but those are the possibilities that come to mind right now. I apologize if you lost a lot of data due to this error. I need to do more testing to narrow down the cause in order to fix it. EDIT: @bida2 I just tried to see if I could replicate the error by encountering a wild Pokemon with Contrary. First I tried with Inkay, encountering around 15-20 of them so I'd be sure I'd run into at least one with the ability, and not getting an error. Then I went back to Tinder Forest to see if I could with Fomantis, intending to catch all the ones I find to see if they have it. The first Fomantis I caught has Contrary, so it seems I'm not able to replicate the error: EDIT 2: You mentioned that your leading Pokemon was Incineroar, and it dawned on me that Incineroar can have Intimidate as an ability, which would activate Contrary. I gave myself an Incineroar with Intimidate and ran around Tinder Forest until I encountered a Fomantis with Contrary. I got an error message, but it was a different message than yours. It seems like when Intimidate activates Contrary at the start of a wild battle, this happens. I also tested this in a trainer battle with Crolea, and the same error message popped up, although the error didn't crash the game. The battle continued on as normal after closing the error message. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to solve this... For now, I added it to the known bugs list.

Originally* the breeders had Audino with just Healing Wish, as they are now. Then they were changed to having other moves too, and then I changed them back to just Healing Wish since people requested it. I want to keep them with just Healing Wish since people prefer to have them that way and I've already changed them a few times. *originally for the public release. before the public release of episode 1, the breeders weren't Audino trainers and had a variety of different Pokemon

I'm glad you're enjoying the game! Reducing the amount of early game trainers is something I've strongly considered for over a year. I'm not sure how long it would take or when I'd get around to it and I still need to think on some things like if I should lower Gym Leader levels to account for less trainers, but I do think it'd be for the best. It would probably be done sometime after the full game's public release. So far, this is what I've considered in terms of trainer reductions: -possibly Cianosa City. I think Virima should maybe be the only city where trainers battle outside. On the other hand, since there's a trainer school nearby, it makes sense they'd want to practice in the city, so I'm not entirely sure. I'd probably remove the tourist near the Game Corner at the very least. -I like that the bottom floor of the Trainer School has the trainers there, since they're each supposed to represent a status condition, and a lot of the boards in trainer schools in the official games teach about status conditions. But I don't think the second floor trainers are as necessary. -Gentleman's Club: I was thinking that the acting chairman could be the only one who battles the player, while the others are just normal NPCs -Bolaii Beach: I don't really have any strong reason, I just feel like this would be a good place to remove some trainers. The ones in the Sand Castle I would probably keep. -Forest of Feeling: if rangers normally aren't allowed to battle other trainers there, maybe civilians should abide by that too. And on the other hand, for midgame, I think it'd make sense to have a few trainers in Premoggin Canyon. I actually don't understand why I didn't put any there. Maybe instead of removing some trainers entirely, I can reassign them to mid-lategame areas and adjust their levels accordingly.

The breeders are there in case someone runs out of trainers to battle but still needs to gain more levels in order to take on a Gym Leader. In the early game they're probably needed less often because there are a lot of trainers to battle (in my opinion, up to the 5th gym I put way too many trainers; others have mentioned getting fatigue from so many battles too), but there are less during the late game. Between the 13th - 15th gyms there actually aren't/won't be any ordinary NPC trainers at all aside from the breeders; it's just a few boss battles and the Gym Leaders. When I was developing the content past the current public release I fell behind in levels a few times since there are significantly less NPC trainers later on.
-
Additionally, I do put in genuine effort with boss battles like Gym Leaders, but I'm not really aiming for it to be difficult. If there are people who have an easy time with the game, I'm okay with that. People who are looking for more of a challenge have the option of doing specialized runs by setting up certain rules and restrictions for their playthrough.

These are Data Vault entries from the end of the game, but I think it's okay to post them since I also explained this stuff in a post a few months ago. These entries just go into more detail than my post at the time did. The way Spork's universe works is based off of a planet called Cerri, which I believe is our real home where we were born and where we'll return to. There are a few other ways that Spork works like Cerri, but the main one to keep in mind for the game aside from death not existing is this: In February, I wrote a 5-entry series about other specific people and places that are inspired from Cerri, though depending how far in the game you are, they contain major spoilers. Since you quoted that from the opening post, I'm assuming you haven't played and were reading the summary to see what Spork is about.

Reuploaded Delicia's Delicious Dreamland with the following fixes and updates: -fixed bug where if you exited the Underwater Hotel's elevator without choosing a floor, it would always take you to the fourth floor -added a little more detail to Ryoko's file in the Data Vault-like room at the end of the game and reuploaded Spork as well: -fixed the same bug with the Underwater Hotel elevator, except it was with the first floor instead of the fourth -added a notepad file for hide and seek locations I meant to fix the issue with the Underwater Hotel elevator in the last reupload of both games, but that one ended up slipping my mind because I forgot to write it down. (I use notes on my phone to remind myself of what needs to be fixed along with keeping track of what I've already fixed) Unless a major bug is discovered (like a Pokemon not being able to evolve when it's supposed to, or something that causes the game to crash), this will likely be the last reupload of episode 4.5. I wanted to go through the game from the beginning to make sure everything was as polished as I could possibly make it for when Palletite is able to return, and so that hopefully when it's time for the final episode to be released, I'll have already taken care of most bugs in the lategame content so that it won't need to be reuploaded as much. Playing my copy of the game through the content past where the public release goes, most of what I found was typos, but there were also two places that I was able to enter before I should have been able to. I've fixed everything I found, though. Since this is probably the last reupload of this episode (unless someone finds a major bug like I mentioned earlier), I don't really have anything else to talk about or show here for now. Thank you for your patience in waiting for the next release, and I hope you're looking forward to it!

Reuploaded Delicia's Delicious Dreamland with the following fixes and updates: -the Pokemon of the Team Portal agents you can battle after the end are now sent out in Premier Balls -on the region map, removed the text where to the left of Virima City it said "Safari Zone". That was leftover data from the default Essentials map. -removed the Mystery Gift Victini event from Pokemarts. This was also leftover Essentials data. Played through Spork from the beginning to find and fix as much as I could. Reuploaded with the following fixes and updates: -removed the Safari Zone text from the region map and the Mystery Gift Victini, like in Delicia's Delicious Dreamland -poison no longer does field damage -the Department Store now sells PP Max. I also changed the price of the vitamins back to 4900. When fixing the Lumiose Galette and Shalour Sable bug where they weren't programmed in as items, I copied the items.txt from Delicia's Delicious Dreamland (where I changed the vitamin prices back to 9800 since this is before the evens of Spork where the vitamin operation leads to the prices being halved) to Spork, and didn't realize until recently that doing that changed the vitamin prices -decided to remove the badge requirements for some Pokemart merchandise like I did for Delicia's Delicious Dreamland, so all of it is available from the beginning now -removed the tourist NPC trainer from Aliora City that used mushroom Pokemon. I thought it was awkward having that one trainer in the city while none of the other NPCs aside from the rebattleable Audino trainer battled the player. -the trainers you battle in the Trainer's School marble tournament now move from their seats when you battle them. You're also healed after the last battle in addition to the first two -you now automatically turn to face up during the scene with Ashley and Kayla in the cafe if you weren't already facing up -added more rocks to the water right of the Happy Hot Springs to prevent the player from surfing off the map -After the second battle with Emily, she now just says "Round two goes to you" instead of "Round two goes to you too". The second one implies that the player won the first battle too, but the game goes on whether you win or lose the first battle and wouldn't make sense if the player lost. -fixed typo in Gina's TV interview in a house in Gellene Town: "Nosy Nosepass is paraylzed" -> Nosy Nosepass is paralyzed -In a TV in a house in Cianosa City that explained the beginnings of the Ceolis League, changed the dialogue about the Sea Stars having "no organized competition" at first to having no Pokemon League. Saying that they had no organized competition was incorrect because there are the monthly tournaments. -fixed typo with the NPC in Tinder Village who starts the Cyndaquil sidequest: "I haven't seen since yesterday" -> I haven't seen it since yesterday -fixed typo with an NPC at Premoggin Canyon during Jim's tour: "in case I lost" -> in case I get lost -fixed typo with the flowers that block Aliora Meadow until after the Wonky Woods events: delibarately -> deliberately -fixed typo with a trash can in a house in Virima (south of the bridge): restuarant -> restaurant -fixed typo with an NPC at Inoset Island: exquisuite -> exquisite -changed Buzzwole, Celesteela, and Xurkitree's victory theme to the rest of the UBs -fixed typo with an NPC at the Sea Star Society's Pokemart: accomodate -> accommodate -fixed typo with an NPC at the Sea Star School: particpate -> participate -when Articuno shows up at Norall Mountain, changed this line "GRUNTS: Run!" to this "AGENTS: Run!", since I changed their trainer class from Portal Grunt to Portal Agent a long time ago. -after Emily and Delicia's events at the Sea Star Society, there's text saying that they go back to the Meeting Section, but there wasn't this text for Crolea before after the tournament. Now there is. plus a lot of other minor changes, for example some NPCs that are either talking to themself or to someone else continue to face wherever they were before instead of turning to face the player, like at the Contest Hall when they're addressing the contestants.
