  1. She mentioned a son, not a daughter. I think Anju is Angie's real name and that she was brainwashed or hypnotized. If you go back through Angie's tower after defeating her, a set of curtains in one room will have been removed to reveal a room. If you go in this room, you'll see a cutscene with Anju and Indriad, where Indriad walks through Anju who becomes Angie. @the poll: 1 seemed like the safest answer, since it was incorrect the first time and the incorrect answer would have most likely changed. Also, I just noticed Jan's location is set to Route 9. Currently we've been through 7 routes in Rejuvenation. Could that mean Routes 8 and 9 are in Version 9? . o .
  2. I realized this a few days ago, but when I finished ep 4's story content, I removed ep 3's preview for ep 4 as during that time I didn't know I'd be re-uploading ep 3 a few more times. For you and for everyone else who didn't get to see the preview: "It's been a long time since I've been here. The last time I was here, the Ceolis League wasn't even thought of yet." The preview also explained that to start ep 4, you'll go to Inoset Island and meet Emily to the south, where those two sailors will be gone. The first four of those events you mentioned are postgame, while the last one is ep 4 content. Here's a list of events that can't currently be done as they're for postgame: -The locked house in Virima City -The Teddiursa in the Forest of Feeling that's running back and forth -The room in the Sand Castle that doesn't let you enter -The part of Aliora Meadow being guarded by rangers -The door in the Mysterious Mansion that says there's giggling from the other side when you interact with it -The part of the cave in Classic Park that you can't enter -The two towers south of Bolaii Beach -The crystal blocking a ladder at the Cool Cave -Regigigas in Neon Temple -The girl in front of the big door in the Dark Dungeon who says she's not accepting visitors right now Marbles, Universe Fragments, and False Fortunes somewhat. Some of them are findable/doable now, but those quests won't be completable until the postgame.
  3. Similar to the favorite starter one, if Ame did that she'd also probably have an achievement for obtaining an Alolan Ninetales. I'm too lazy to come up with names but there'd probably be achievements for: -beating the main story -completing the Pokedex -beating Garchomp at Pyrous Mountain (ninja'd by Wolfox Glace) -finding all the field and PULSE notes -interacting with everything in Terra's computer -fixing the Calcenon-Route 3 bridge -renovating all three (possibly four, since the NPC mentions looking at the wasteland after doing all three?) projects when the city is restored -rescuing all the 7th Street Pokemon -beating Cain and Victoria at the Grand Hall (since the game continues even if you lose here) -feeding Titania Blue Moon Ice Cream (maybe also one for obtaining Blue Moon Ice Cream in the first place) -making your relationship points with a character the highest or lowest they can possibly be (with unique achievement names for each one) -finding the officers and exposing Corey -doing the extra gang stuff (defeating Craudburry and giving the gang jobs) -finding all the lady's furniture in Spinel Town -finding each correct mirror in Serra's gym on the first try -getting all the chess puzzles in Radomus's gym right on the first try
  4. I'm glad you're enjoying the game Episode structure update: a few months ago, I said episode 6 will contain the final four gyms, while episode 7 will cover the E4 + Champion and postgame. Instead, I've decided that episode 6 will go up to the E4, while ep 7 will be entirely postgame. I think it'd be better for becoming Champion to be the conclusion of an episode instead of a starting point. That's still a while away, but I figured I would mention it anyway. And as an update for ep 4 progress. Palletite has finished the trainer sprites up to the 11th gym. If the remaining ones are still being worked on when I need to leave for a month, I'll upload "Episode 3 and a Half", which would go up to the 11th gym. I decided to do this since me having to leave for a month wasn't something I knew about very long in advance, and since everything up to at least the 11th gym will be ready then, I would've felt bad about not uploading the finished parts of the episode as it'd be a while before I'd be able to update the game again. So you'll be getting new content to play before I need to leave, whether it's half of the episode or the full episode. ^^' Again, I won't have my computer but I will have my iPad, so I'll still be online sometimes to respond to any questions, feedback, etc. This is still more than a week away though.
  5. Rorrim B is Crawli's dad. He first appears and battles the player at Route 3, and then again on Terajuma. He also dances at Texen and Amber's parties. He has a shadow Vivillon. Neved is the Team Xen admin that was in charge of Blacksteeple Castle. He has a daughter, but we don't know who she is, only that he joined Team Xen because it was apparently right for her. Vitus/Indriad is Maria's father and the leader of the Arceus cult. (or more accurately seems to be Gardevoir's pawn) His real name is Vitus, but after the events we see when we go back in time, he decides to go by Indriad. Mr. Blakeory is Saki's father. He helped Gearen and GDC be what they are today, and apparently made Oblitus Town bankrupt. Was also in the land dispute with Vitus/Indriad.
  6. Rejuvenation does have a few dads. There's Keta, Rorrim B, Neved, Vitus/Indriad, and Mr. Blakeory. The psychic healer is also Erin's grandfather (do grandfathers count as dads even if we don't know a character's father, since in order to be a grandfather they would've first needed to be someone's dad)? Granted most of those characters have done very bad things and/or have had very bad things done to them. Rorrim B so far is the only pure and safe one.
  7. Tesla is my favorite character in Rejuvenation, even moreso in V8 with Terajuma's revamped story with her speech to Amber (even though it had little to no effect on her), having Melia take a rest at her resort, and offering the player a room in her villa.
  8. Caratos Mountain is where Madelis hacked our snag machine, but Melia repaired it after Blacksteeple. Well not really repaired it, since according to her Blacksteeple's signal cancelled out Madelis's, but that's when we regained use of it. The last shadow Pokemon we were able to snag during the main story was/were at the Xen Backup Lab in the Sheridan Wetlands. When you choose the paths, a grunt on one path has a shadow Baltoy and a grunt in the other path has a shadow Masquerain. If you choose the right path, you can only catch that shadow Pokemon, as you can't go to the left path after choosing the right one. But if you choose the left path, you can go back to the right path once you've activated the switches in the left path. Outside the main story, there's the shadow Beldum, which you currently need to complete V8 in order to obtain, since one of the card key shards was moved to the Bladestar hideout. In V6 and V7, the earliest point you could catch it was after the Team Xen events at Valor Mountain.
  9. I'd definitely try to apply if I wasn't going to be away from the middle of May until the middle of June. XD
  10. Last year I proposed an idea about him being one of the recruits. I never noticed him there before. If my recruit idea is correct, maybe he's helping Melia keep watch over us? @Monsieur Divergent this is the person who gives you the Emotion Powder.
  11. That doesn't necessarily mean Corey's Pokemon in battle have random IVs, as IVs when obtaining a Pokemon are always randomized. By in-game logic you're obtaining Corey's Croagunk, Nidorina, and Skuntank. But by scripting logic you're obtaining a Croagunk/Nidorina/Skuntank. The game's script when obtaining a Pokemon doesn't know those Pokemon belonged to Corey, that's a story detail that the player knows. As far as I know, it's not possible to make an event where you obtain a Pokemon make that Pokemon have specific IVs. I just checked, and Corey's Pokemon in battle have 10 IVs. EDIT: To clarify, making the OT name Corey doesn't connect those Pokemon to the data they had in Corey's battle. The OT name only effects itself.
  12. I just realized that Team Xen minus the am in Team is Texen. @HakuryuYukio Kelvin fixes the rails near the end of V8.
  13. I remember Jan saying that this was intentional.
  14. Celesteela is fought as a trainer battle, and it joins you after the battle. To the best of my knowledge, Pokemon in trainer battles don't appear as shiny unless they're manually set as shiny in the editor or trainers.txt PBS file. So most likely Celesteela can't appear as shiny when battling it but can be shiny when it joins you. That being said, if it was shiny in the trainer battle, that doesn't mean it'd be shiny when you obtain it. Going by in-game logic of the event, you're obtaining the Celesteela you fought. But going by scripting logic, you're obtaining a Celesteela, not any specific one, so it would have a chance of being shiny but it wouldn't be guaranteed, as data when obtaining a Pokemon like nature, shininess, IVs, etc. is randomized. It's probably possible to set up an event where a Pokemon you obtain is a guaranteed shiny, but when I tried to do that with the shiny Unown after the Unown Horde battle, it caused an error. This is why instead of just obtaining the shiny Unown, it's a wild Pokemon encounter. I was unable to set it up as obtaining a shiny Pokemon, but I was able to have it set up as a wild shiny event battle, since one of the default Essentials maps does that with a shiny Mew event so I just copied that script. Although with an event like this, there'd need to be a way for the game to determine whether it was shiny in the first place in the battle, and I don't know if that'd be possible. Again though, it won't be shiny in the trainer battle at all as I didn't set it as shiny.
  15. Did you go to Wonky Woods yet like Emily said? If not, it's through here: EDIT: I just realized you'd have needed to go to Wonky Woods to do the second ranger mission. It sounds like your next destination is Aliora Meadow, which is here:
  16. @people asking how Lin could take that: a common theory about Lin is that there's a young Lin and an older Lin. A sprite exists of a younger Lin, which was in a silhouette of E13's title screen. Here's a picture of younger Lin: Although logs of online league battles have been wiped with November's site update, in Ikaru's battle with Lin, when Lin lost she said "Come and find the real me" which may mean the younger Lin is the real one. Considering Anna said there was no one riding the Hydreigon after the first time you meet Lin, that may mean the older Lin somehow isn't real.
  17. I just checked in RPG Maker. You get one egg.
  18. From another user's post: "Like i already said, the pokemon you get is randomized and sadly, you can't reset to get a different pokemon. For example, if you get a starly from the mystery egg, then it will always be starly that hatches." I've never done the Mystery Egg event myself though, so I don't know who's correct.
  19. I just tested this along with the other regional status-healing foods both in and out of battle. Out of battle they work fine, but in battle what you mentioned happens with every one of them. I checked their usability in battle in the items.txt file and it's set correctly for all of them (it's set to 1, which is for items that can be used in battle and disappear after being used), so I'm not really sure why this happens.
  20. I've never had that happen before O_O I wonder if it's an issue with specific fonts, or if a certain set of battle circumstances makes it happen.
  21. Thanks for letting me know I forgot Spinarak. I re-uploaded with it now available as a starter. I remember someone else mentioning that text getting smaller, but I haven't noticed it myself. It does sound like an Essentials issue, but if it happens again, would you be able to take a screenshot?
  22. Sprite revamps doesn't mean every single trainer sprite in the game is redone every episode* (assuming that's what you were thinking it means). Sprite revamps are for new trainers battled in the episode. I can't sprite or do any kind of art at all, so without Palletite's assistance all the trainers would just be recolors. Basically the process goes like this: 1. I complete the episode's story content. At this stage, the sprites are recolors of already existing Gen 4-5 trainer sprites. 2. Palletite does the sprites for the trainers battled in the episode 3. I upload the public release once the sprites are finished *some older trainer sprites like Crolea are also being redone, but not for ep 4 or any other specific episode.
  23. From Jan's 2016 AMA thread: "I think about 17. One episode will have 2 gym battles, and the second to last will be a story episode only. You'll have all the badges at this point, then the final episode will finish the game w/ Post game..." http://www.rebornevo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/21760-ask-jan-anything/&page=2#comment-557731
