Pokemon Fan Game Recommendations [Community WIP]
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Fumble's topic in Fan-game Exposé
Back when I posted about Apex in here, I actually didn't know about the 3 Pokemon limit yet. It's something I definitely would've brought up if I knew it existed. I haven't actually finished the current build, so I don't know if the number of Pokemon you can have is raised when the level cap is. I made it nearly to the end of the build and was stuck at a puzzle I couldn't figure out. I tried looking for an answer but I found a post by the creator saying he doesn't give puzzle hints. Since this puzzle was legitimately beyond my critical thinking ability and I was afraid to ask for help because of the creator not offering help with puzzles, I had no choice but to give up. About needing to pay to heal in the desert city, Sayaka's grandmother will heal you for free in her house if you battled Sayaka in the route before. -
After saving Amber, you need to go back to the floor where you were given the Emotion Powder, change it to calm, then go northwest in the room and surf downstairs. Or if you've already done that and got the ability to make the mountain angry, then on the floor where you got the Emotion Powder you need to make the mountain angry and Rock Smash the pillars in order to make a path to the north room. At present, the Magma Stone decision only effects certain events up to Valor Mountain. Give Magma Stone: go back to Tesla's and explain what happened, and the group will decide you need to find another way into the mountain. At some point you'll learn there's an entrance in Crawli's gym, and after finding Venam you enter through there. At the barricade scene (which you're not at yet) Saki will give you Magma Drift. Keep Magma Stone: Cera grabs the Magma Stone as you're leaving and it splits in half with both of you getting a half of it. Thaw out the TM shop in Kristiline Town and you'll get Magma Drift there. You'll enter Valor Mountain through the main entrance and at the barricade scene Saki gives you a Revive instead of Magma Drift since you already have it.

The Steel leader's name is Saki. My guesses for the badges we haven't earned yet. Pyramid: Ground. The one with wings next to the pyramid: Flying. The black and white one after Narcissa's badge: Dark. The one after that: Steel. The one after that: Dragon. The theater masks: Psychic or Fairy The one after that: Psychic or Fairy The one after Crawli's badge: Rock. The one with the masks is the one I'm most unsure of because I feel like both Psychic and Fairy (and possibly Dark, but due to the black and white badge's color scheme I think that one is Dark) are types that would represent theater well. And for the one after that, that pinkish/purplish shade is similar to both the type boxes for Psychic and Fairy (though maybe closer to Fairy's). That's assuming those masks are supposed to be the happy and sad masks often used to represent theater. They could have a different meaning in Rejuvenation.

I find it interesting that the 6th and 12th badges as shown there look similar. They're the same shape and general design, have white + another color, and are facing opposite directions. Maybe those leaders (I'm guessing 6th is Dark and 12th is Psychic or Fairy) have some connection . o .

They've been removed from the game in either E15 or E16, but there used to be references to the "Mysidia region". Mysidia was a website Reborn was affiliated with back when Reborn was called Pokeplace.

I don't think it's possible to do that in Essentials/RPG Maker.

Farewell my friends...

The OP elaborated in this thread. He lost his save file in the process of resetting electronics to get rid of viruses. -
If a Pokemon liked being a Dimensional Rift, it'd see it as a Dimensional Gift.

Double click the "Game" that has the square blue and white picture.

The space to the right also works. You need to press space/a/the interact button. Thanks for reminding me about this. I remember at one point wondering if I should change this to allow the player to walk through in order to pass instead of needing to interact. I'll do that for the public release of ep 4.

The On the Hunt subforum is for Reborn. That being said, you can get one for defeating Spector. First you need to get the Odd Key, then do the Generator Problems help center request in West Gearen, then find Spector in Goldenleaf. After the conversation at the Giratina statue, he appears inside the gym's library, in the Odd House, and in Wispy Tower all at different times of the day (I forget which time for which place), and after finding him in all those places you can battle him in Narcissa's arena. EDIT: Oh, and there's mining like the above poster said. EDIT2: @dragonza11 Santalune Forest is in X and Y

You regain access to Reborn after defeating Ciel, whose badge will allow you to Fly there. This is also the point where Reborn is restored. You'll miss the events themselves, but not the Pokemon. ex: You won't be able to do Lotad's event anymore, but you can find it as a grass encounter. Ninja'd

Update to Move Deleter situation: I deleted him from the game and made HM moves forgettable through normal means. Like with the name-changing office, there'll be a guard in front of the building. Since there was a Marble obtainable by interacting with his TV, this guard will now give out that Marble instead. Normally a bug like this that causes a crash is one I'd consider worth re-uploading for when fixed, but since I've finished the ep 4 story content and Palletite is currently in the process of doing sprite revamps, this fix will be in the public release of episode 4. Since the only HM move Pokemon in Spork need to learn to be able to use in the field is Fly, I assume the Move Deleter usually isn't needed outside of a few Pokemon that learn an HM move through level up, but in the meantime if anyone needs an HM move deleted from a Pokemon I'm capable of doing so if you send me your save file

Where did you get your profile picture from?

A friend showed me this picture. She had a dream about me and said that was close to how I looked in it. -
Move Deleter PSA This is a bug that was reported around a week and half - 2 weeks ago that I initially forgot to put on the known bugs list after it was reported. In the original report, the user was trying to have the move Cut deleted from their Kartana, but upon selecting Kartana to have a move deleted at the Move Deleter's house, the game crashed. The user also mentioned this happening with any Gen 7 Pokemon they tried to use. It was also reported this morning. Upon re-reading the report the user said it happened whenever talking to the Move Deleter. Due to the wording I decided to see if this applied to all Pokemon and not just Gen 7, and it did. I tried with Meowstic and Ampharos, both of which caused the crash. I don't really know why this is happening. Since this bug has only been reported for episode 3, I assume either the Move Deleter was working correctly in episode 2 or that no one used him until recently. Unless I'm able to find out why this happens, the Move Deleter will need to be deleted (pun intended) for ep 4. If that's the case I'll also need to make HM moves forgettable through normal means. Until then, I advise not using the Move Deleter.

The other uses a Patrat. I don't play League of Legends but I've heard some of the terminology and recognized an NPC in the Onyx Arcade at the game machines reference it, talking about "mid-laning" IIRC. Most of the Silph Co.'s floors are closed off due to "security reasons in the Kanto region", referencing Team Rocket's attempted takeover of the company. There's an NPC in the Onyx Arcade who says "Big money, no Krabbys" which is a reference to a game show called Whammy. In Cain's songs are several references to the anime openings, the most recognizable being when he says "At this rate I'll never be the very best like no one ever was". In a house in Calcenon City there's an NPC that says "I'm talking bout all-out party and we're getting it started. Mr. President, do you mind some electric guitar?". I looked it up because I thought "That's so bizarre it has to be referencing something" and it's a line from the theme song to Cory in the House. The trainer in Charlotte's gym who says "See you in the Starlight Divide" is referencing Starlight Divide, the game Ame's making after Reborn is finished. In Blake's apartment, after solving the puzzle Shelly says she feels like you should've been looking for a door with a number 9. This is a reference to a game, but I forget which one. When Terra says that you won a brand new car, that's a reference to the game show The Price is Right. There's an Arcade Star on Opal Bridge named Miku, a reference to the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. Could also be a reference to a community member because I've heard there was someone named Miku here. One of the Grand Hall trainers has shiny members of the Squirtle line and calls them Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles, a reference to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Some NPC trainers are references to community members. There's Psychic Inuki (Inuki), Street Rat Erick (Neo), Street Rat Andreas (Eternal Edge), Arcade Star Lithi (not sure of her name, but she's no longer with us in the same sense as Corey and Kiki), probably some more I don't know about, and the PC programmer Nyu is also a reference to forum member Nyu. Most of the characters themselves and many events in the game are references to the leaders and events from the online league, which the game is based on.
