Ame said that was made before Reborn as a game was thought of and a lot of details are outdated. It also mentions Terra as Labradorra's leader when Saphira is the leader of Labradorra while Terra is one of the Agate leaders, Sigmund as the Lapis leader when he's not the Electric leader in-game, and El as the Agate leader when Hardy is.

Predictions for future important battles in Reborn
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to GGLL's topic in Reborn City
On Tumblr, someone asked Ame if the E4 will be fixed like in Gens 1-4 or available to battle in any order like in Gen 5 onward. She said for story reasons they'd be in a fixed order. I think it's possible El will be kicked out of the E4 due to exposed ties to Team Meteor and Laura will get her position back. I always imagined this happening before we battle them, but your idea of it happening the second time is also interesting. If El is still in the Elite Four, my hypothesis is it'll go: Bennett, El/Heather, Heather/El, Anna. and if it's Laura instead of El: Bennett, Laura, Heather, Anna this also assumes Anna is a member of the Elite Four. I think it's most likely, but it hasn't been confirmed. For others: There were no rival battles in E11-E14. Then in E15 we battled Fern and in E16 we battled Victoria. So maybe in E17 we'll battle Cain? I think Fern will be battled on Victory Road, since he's also doing the league and has the most badges. Ame said Victoria dropped and Cain still hasn't fought Radomus. I think the next Meteor admin battle will be against Sirius, since we've only fought him once so far and we're approaching the end of the game. I'm unsure if it'll be another Sigmund/Sirius choice, but I do believe we'll be battling Sigmund once more too. I think we'll battle Zero at Agate, since he mentioned going there. Maybe with his own full team since ZEL split. For those who gave Blake the Ruby Ring and didn't get the extra Aster/Eclipse stuff, I think we'll battle Aster once more in Labradorra and the A&E story will conclude there. I think Solaris will be battled once more. I think he'll have Mega Garchomp. I could see another battle with Taka when we get the end result of our decision at the WTC. Since we battled Blake twice, maybe we'll have another battle with Cal too? He mentioned the battle at Pyrous feeling empty, so maybe he'll want a rematch as his new self. I think this would likely happen around Victory Road, maybe a little sooner, but not before the bulk of the operations Meteor has left have been taken care of. Ame confirmed postgame Gym Leader rematches, saying it wouldn't be much of a postgame without them. I also think we may rematch Arclight at the nightclub. Maybe we'll be able to rematch everyone who's still around?- 11 replies

I'm...actually kind of uncomfortable with this question being asked. I don't really like the idea of comparing one game to another, or saying that one is better than the other. Someone did that in the Desolation thread a few weeks ago comparing Desolation to Rejuvenation, granted that person's feedback was more along the lines of saying that certain things were copied from Rejuvenation (I remember the poster saying Vejyr was copied from Valor Mountain), and Caz explained that they weren't. I also remember a thread from 2015 where Jan mentioned people used to say about his game "it isn't as good as Reborn", which made him feel bad. I would also feel bad if someone said that to or about me. I think comparing games is okay in the sense of "This game is darker/lighter than this one" or "this game focuses more on multiplayer while this one is single-player and story based", but I'm not really comfortable with "This game is better than this one". What I will say about the story of Spork, other than what's mentioned in the first post: -The Sea Stars, which are the non-human/non-Pokemon species mentioned in the first post, have been mentioned in-game a few times but haven't been introduced yet. They'll be introduced in the next episode, episode 4, where the player visits their civilization. -Spork's story is lighter than both fangames and the canon games. Not only are there no character deaths, death itself doesn't exist. Because of this, I edited the Pokedex entries to not include mentions of death, Pokemon eating other Pokemon (or people), souls being stolen, etc. A few legendary Pokemon, mainly Giratina and Yveltal, will also have their lore changed because of this. -The main post mentions that certain sidequest areas offer extra story. For the main story up to the Champion, these are optional. For the postgame story however, you'll need to do them as you'll need to have met some of the characters through them. There's actually a change of dialogue when meeting Team Portal's leader depending on whether you've done them before. If you have done them, she'll mention a character that she doesn't mention if you haven't. -Sometimes watching the TVs will give you extra info, for example Gym Leader interviews and history (there are also non-serious ones though like puns of real TV shows and movies). -While the amount of time spent with most Gym Leaders isn't as much as fangames like Reborn, they will all have appearances outside their gym at some point in the game, as will the Elite Four. You'll also get to know Team Portal's boss and admins on a personal level, not just as enemies. One admin in particular will get a lot of screen time in episode 4. -There's one story rather than branching paths. There is a decision in the current episode that has seven different choices, but this only effects one detail of the end result of this choice along with dialogue depending on what you choose. I hope I didn't come off as rude by explaining why I was uncomfortable with the question. I also hope I didn't give the impression that I'm not open to feedback. I've incorporated other peoples' feedback before mainly by improving on the maps (getting rid of excess space, making nature less uniform, etc.) among other things. I do want Spork to be as good as it can be, but I would prefer to avoid posts like "Spork is better than x game" or "x game is better than Spork" in this thread, especially since I'll be here to read it, being the creator of the game and thread.

I'm not a mod but I believe the reason the rule exists is so everyone can understand what's being said. If someone is speaking a language not everyone is familiar with, they may be discussing something against the rules (ex: sexual content or disrespect) and people wouldn't know if they are unless they speak the language being spoken. -

Question regarding the dex+mega bracelet
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Pozyher's topic in Reborn City
Like someone else said it was originally going to be in E16 but was pushed back. When I was looking for relationship points in RPG Maker and putting together the relationship variable guide I actually happened to find the mega ring quest, so I do know when and how we'll be getting it. However as it's content for the future, I don't know if it's okay for me to say any more even if I use spoiler tags. -
I didn't know you had to talk to Simon first, but I do know that in order to activate this quest you needed to have refused Blake every time he asks for the Ruby Ring.

I think you're confusing Spork with Reborn. The 5th gym in Reborn is at a wasteland. Spork doesn't have a wasteland area. Aliora City is the fourth city the player visits in Spork, and the south gatehouse in Aliora City leads to Bolaii Coastline which leads to Bolaii Beach. EDIT: So looking at your profile, I see you're currently viewing a topic called "Where can I find a moon stone?" from 2013. I'm guessing you were trying to find a Moon Stone in Reborn and searched for "moon stone" or something like that and found this thread because the person I was originally responding to asked where to find a Moon Stone, and you clicked on this thread from there without knowing this is a different game from Reborn.

I've re-upload episode 3 with Reborn's custom move (+weather, stat boost and drop, etc.) animations Although I mentioned considering adding a randomizer mode (not to mention Legend Mode still needs to be done, although SPB doesn't have Internet back yet), for now I'd like to take a short break from working on the game to recover more fully from the burnout from episode 3. Episode 3 came out much faster than I expected it to, but a major reason for that is how often I worked on the game and how much I got done each day. I worked faster and got more done in a day on average than for episodes 1 and 2, and there were times I could feel the effects of that in my arms. (I was able to get from the 9th gym battle to the 10th gym battle in only 2 days) Whether it's working on episode 4 or adding more features to episode 3, I think it's best I take some time off. I think it's especially important that I go into episode 4 at 100% health, since episode 4 is the one I think I'll have the most fun working with, and I don't want burnout to lessen that. It's also probably the most significant story-wise. The concept for Sea Stars has existed in my mind a long time before I started making Spork. I've written two stories about them, one in 2012 and one in 2013. Most of the Sea Star characters that you'll meet in Spork are from those stories. There are actually two human characters in Spork from stories I've written too: Brutus (the one who you see talking to the librarian in Virima at the beginning of the game) and Kayla. You met Kayla again in episode 3 after not seeing her since challenging Ashley, and you'll meet Brutus again and get his backstory in episode 4. I'll hopefully be back to working on Spork again by the beginning of April at the latest ^^'

Although I doubt it's Reborn-related since it's under Other Games, the alignment of the text reminds me of how it was in Shade's trainer cards from the online league, where it was all over the place and otherworldly-looking.

Your username sounds extremely familiar to me for some reason. Even though your name here isn't your Youtube username, I feel like I've seen that name on Youtube before. Also, I'm not sure if you have the same condition as me, but I physically and emotionally stopped developing as a kid. Either way, welcome to Reborn. Here's an ice cream sandwich- 15 replies

I don't think the game randomly decides whether a Pokemon is shiny for trainer battles, only for wild battles. With trainer battles, I'm 99.99% sure they're never shiny unless you make them so. Even with Reborn's increased shiny rate, I've never had a shiny Pokemon show up in Reborn on a trainer's team unless it was programmed to be shiny like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles trainer in the Grand Hall.
-
It's actually extremely simple to set a trainer's Pokemon to shiny. You just go into the Pokemon Essentials Editor, go to "Edit Trainers", go to the trainer and then the trainer's Pokemon you want to make shiny, and set it to true. To make a Pokemon of a character shiny for every battle, you'd just set it to shiny for every trainer battle you've programmed in for them. Shininess can also be set for a Pokemon in the PBS file trainers.txt

Since Toxic has 100 accuracy when used by a Poison type, why not do the same for Will-o-Wisp when used by a Fire type? And since Gen 7 dropped Thunder Wave's accuracy from 100 to 90, why not let it stay 100 for Electric types?

I wasn't here for the old Reborn, having joined in early 2015 after finding the game in late 2014 when I was looking for fangames to play. But I find it interesting that people here are saying the forums used to be more strict, since from other posts I've seen I've gotten the opposite impression. Looking at threads from 2010 when the forums were first made, it seems like there was a lot of conflict early on. I also remember either Ame or someone else saying rules started being enforced more later due to it "becoming like 4chan". I can't find it now, but I remember looking at a thread from 2010 about a mod quitting, and this upset one user who urged people to "make Reborn the way it once was" or something like that, and then a former mod told that user "dude, it's just Pokemon" and then that user insulted the mod. I haven't really seen something like that happen in modern Reborn times. I feel like if something like that happened today, the mods would have handled things better and it wouldn't have gotten that out of hand. Since I always assumed the old Reborn was a lot of anarchy from what I've heard and read, I'm really curious about how it was more strict back then.

I think Karen could potentially be Flying, since her catchphrase is "Little dove" and one of her spells allows her to fly. If she is Flying though, I do think she'd have a Psychic/Flying type like Xatu. My hypothesis used to be Crescent could be either E8 or Gym Leader, but I think she's too powerful to be a Gym Leader. She's been hyped up a lot, more than any Gym Leader has. She also has Mewtwo now, and I definitely think we're going to be facing it when we battle her. We've battled legendaries before, but as individual super bosses and not on a trainer's full team. I think the Psychic leader is the psychic healer in GDC.

Gen 5 - Shiny Thread | Public Development
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Jan's topic in Rejuvenation
Mr. Mime is named as such due to a mistranslation. The original Japanese name, Barrierd, doesn't mention gender at all. Also, pink wasn't always viewed as a feminine color. In the 1920s, fashion magazines viewed pink as masculine and blue as feminine. I don't see a problem with female Mr. Mime or male Mienshao having flowers either way though.- 349 replies

Items in the key items pocket don't display how many you have, unfortunately. I do have a variable called "Marble Count" that goes up by 1 every time you obtain one. The place where Marbles will be used will be in episode 4, but you won't have access to every marble until the postgame. However in addition to the big reward for finding all of them, there will be smaller rewards for every ten you find. There are actually 2/4 Universe Fragments currently available (5 technically as the scientist in the research institute who you can do sidequests for also has one, but the player only needs to find the other four). This is also a quest not finishable until the postgame.

A trainer sprite of Crescent existed in Rejuvenation's characters folder up to I think V5. It's not there anymore, I assume because she hasn't been battled yet (a lot of others that haven't been battled or met yet also used to be in the folder) and/or will be updated. My current hypothesis is that she's a Psychic type E8 member.
