  1. The Paralyze Heal issue has been fixed for episode 3. Paralyze was spelled wrong in the Pokemart NPC events. I think up to Essentials v15 the item was spelled as "PARLYZHEAL", and v16 changed it to spell out the whole word paralyze. I didn't know about this until a few weeks ago. The only extra mode planned is the Legend Mode, which will be a separate download. I've never considered doing any other modes before (even the Legend Mode was SPB's idea), and I'm also not confident I would be able to implement those since I have zero coding experience. (that's why Legend Mode will be a separate download instead of having it be an option when starting a new game like Rejuvenation's difficulty modes are; I'm not sure how to set up several modes in one download. it will use the same save file though)
  2. The only place encounters differ by time of day is at the Legend Dairy. During the day there you can find Skitty, Glameow, and Shinx, while during the night you can find Poochyena, Purrloin, and Stunky. There are other encounters there, but they appear both during the day and at night.
  3. http://www.rebornevo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/16746-rejuvenation-ask-your-questions-quests-and-pokemonitem-locations/&page=33#comment-607100 If you need more details about the bonus battle, it's with the backup Ghost leader, Spector. First you have to find the Odd Key, then do the Generator Problems help request in West Gearen. Then go to Goldenleaf City. In front of the Giratina statue should be a white-haired person. This is Spector. After you talk to him here, you need to find him in a few different places: Wispy Tower, near bookcases in Narcissa's gym, and the Odd House. After that you can battle him in Narcissa's arena at night. He's at those locations at certain times of day, but I don't remember which time corresponds with which place.
  4. Happy birthday! Here's an ice cream sandwich
  5. Continuing from here One to hide the new bulb for someone to find. One to put the old bulb on display in a museum. One to give directions on changing the bulb that no one understands. One to burn out the new bulb before it even replaces the old one.
  6. If an ability has the same effect as another ability, it can be added next to it in the scripts. Here's the part of the scripts for abilities that prevent the user from sleeping.
  7. Yeah, I have no idea why that happened. I added it in the script sections for Water Veil and Torrent, which should make it work since those abilities work. I did the same method for Comatose, adding it next to each ability that gives immunity to a status condition except for sleep, and Comatose works fine. But for some reason Water Bubble caused every turn to be skipped. It's probably the strangest bug I've ever had happen.
  8. Oh, I actually haven't done beta testing since the initial release of ep 1. But I tested each move and ability as I put them in to make sure they work and have the correct effects. The ones in the game at the moment all work. (there were some I wasn't able to work and had to remove because they caused errors. one example of that is the ability Water Bubble, which for some reason caused all moves in battle on both sides to be skipped when I added it) It's always possible there are oversights though. The reason I haven't done beta testing since ep 1 is because of my own shyness. I'm not sure if 2/3 of the testers finished the game. The testing period happened when they were extremely busy from exams and other life reasons, and eventually I didn't hear any more from them about the game. It's not their fault; like I said they were very busy and they even told me they would be beforehand, but that they would do as much as they could. I was too shy to ask them if they had any updates on feedback or finding bugs, since I didn't know when their exam period ended and didn't want to bother them if they were still busy, so after a few weeks I just released the episode. I think I'd be less afraid to ask questions like that now, but the idea is still kind of scary. So it's unlikely there will ever be beta testing again. That being said, I play through the game as I add things in. Palletite also plays in addition to working on sprites, and has notified me of bugs before. I think with each episode I get better with bugs. Episode 1 probably had between 30-40 bugs total, but episode 2 only had a few. The only bug I know of in ep 3 right now (not including those on the known bugs list in the OP of this thread) is that it's possible to re-enter Christmas Slowking's cave as a human if you exit the cave, turn to the left and speak to it to have it turn you back into a human, and then go back in. Since you were originally Christmas Slowking when stepping on the event tile and haven't moved away from it, you wouldn't have activated Slowking's speech that you can only enter if you're Christmas Slowking. I also originally forgot to give Premier Balls to some Team Portal battles, but that's been fixed.
  9. If it weren't for the detail of the machine malfunctioning, I would've maybe thought Team Meteor was hoping a wild Pokemon would come along and find it to block off Ametrine. Which is a silly thing to imagine when they've always found a specific Pokemon themselves to use for the PULSEs XD
  10. Oh yeah, I forgot Mr. Bigglesworth doesn't have a PULSE look or stats. I've only seen the event once on Youtube, and decided not to do it because when he said he only wanted a hug it made me feel bad.
  11. I know Lin is stronger than us right now. Solaris was also stronger at one point and he knew it. But the player is going to get stronger. I think the difference between Solaris and Lin in this regard actually makes Solaris seem more competent. While Lin just toyed with us and didn't fight us directly, Solaris actually did take action. Maybe the reason Solaris didn't consider the player's growth is because he thought he crushed our willpower after demonstrating what he can do at Apophyll, which is reasonable to think since up until that point we've fought Team Meteor on equal footing and never faced an opponent of his caliber. But now it should be clear we're just going to keep fighting for as long as we can, so I think Lin should know better than to just flaunt her power. That being said, I could be misinterpreting it like I said in my last post. Since it seems like Lin wanted us to take care of PULSE Magnezone, maybe she has more plans for us and that's why she doesn't just defeat us, especially considering she didn't do so at Tanzan either despite knowing Sirius was lying about us. Maybe she even wants the player to get stronger. Since she mentioned Ame being weak, maybe she wants a challenge.
  12. We can battle PULSE Garbodor. It's in a sidequest and its name is Mr. Bigglesworth. PULSE Camerupt has been destroyed and I don't see a reason it would be used again outside of maybe a sidequest, since Apophyll seems to be done with for the main story.
  13. Just a random thought based on things I've heard. Contains Guzma spoilers.
  14. tbh it wasn't immediately obvious to me that Anna really can see things others don't. At first I just thought she was eccentric in the same way as characters like Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter.
  15. I could be misinterpreting it but it seems to me like Lin is making the same mistake as Solaris in underestimating the player, despite how she's otherwise built up as more competent. I get that it's part of Lin's personality. She's the kind of villain who prefers to play with the heroes and watch them struggle slowly rather than taking them out outright. She had a similar personality in the online league, if I remember correctly from what Ame's said on tumblr. But after Solaris, it's kind of disappointing to see it happening again, even if for different reasons? Solaris was stronger than the player at one point, but he was complacent in his power since he's probably rarely been challenged before and didn't take into account the player eventually reaching his level. While with Lin it's her personality like I mentioned before, but in every case I've seen of a villain doing what Lin's doing, that ends up being their downfall, so it's likely we'll have both major villains being defeated because of a very similar weakness. Again, I could be misinterpreting it.
  16. A thread like this was made last month. Level 79 Swalot in the Water Treatment Center.
  17. The V8 text error thread has been archived after the site update in the beginning of December, so it can't be replied to anymore. So I'll have to post the typo I found here. Ericks should be Erick.
  18. Episode 3 will come out as soon as Palletite finishes the sprites. Palletite finished midterms recently so has more time to work on them, and now there's only one trainer remaining plus the surfing sprites for the players.
  19. The honey quest isn't finishable yet to my knowledge. You can open the gate, but it's a time-locked sidequest. I believe it's available until you get on the train at West Gearen. You need to find April (who changes her name to Krystal on the train) in Amethyst Cave and follow instructions from there.
  20. This is for people who are new to the game, or are just updating to E16 (for people who started with E15, they'd be new to updating the game and might need something like this).
  21. Yes. Legend Mode will be a separate download and you can choose to either play the game in the format it's always been in or play Legend Mode. (Legend Mode likely won't be coming until 2-3 weeks after public release though, assuming SPB gets internet back soon)
  22. Speaking of Valor Mountain, I just found a talking rock? XD
  23. If Valor Mountain was all water: Valarie Mountain
