  1. You're at an aquarium to learn more about marine life, and things are going well until the glass on a tank containing an octopus cracks. When the octopus leaves its tank, it turns into a tall person with sunglasses and an afro made of cotton candy. "Man, I want some chocolate" he says, and wanders off to Germany, but not before teleporting you to a snowy town. Everyone stares bewildered at this. In the town, you try to find someone to ask where you are. It takes a while because everyone is inside their houses and most places are closed down. You eventually find a store that's open. No one is there yet except one vendor. "Cotton candy?" He asks. You explain your situation to the vendor. When you describe the figure that the octopus turned into, he looks away. You think this is peculiar, but you don't have the energy to investigate. You just want to get home. When you ask where you are, the vendor replies "Oh, I don't know, to tell you the truth." With no clue what's going on or where you are, you head north to the woods. After almost an hour of running around, you come across a clearing where an egg is sitting atop a ledge. A small Santa hatches from the egg. It looks just like Santa, but smaller and rounder, maybe around 1 foot tall. What is your next action?
  2. This one: He gives you a key but doesn't tell you where it goes. It's to a locked building in South Cellia which has the generator key.
  3. At Bolaii Beach there's an NPC with a Hiker sprite who sells all the evolution stones.
  4. How did you set it to where you can see the latest 11 visitors instead of latest 5? I made a thread asking this question yesterday but haven't gotten a response.

    2. Maelstrom

      Maelstrom

Umm... I don't remember. I figured out how to do it early on when I was trying to figure out all the new settings and options, then never thought about it again. I'll let you know if I figure it out again.

    3. Maelstrom

      Maelstrom

Can't find it but I think it was an option button right next to the profile visitors heading.

I can't seem to find it. I only see the x that disables the heading.

  5. It's not currently obtainable outside the starter event, but will be in an episode 3 area. There's a notepad file called "obtainablepokemon" in the download folder which lists all the Pokemon obtainable outside their starter event as well as their location. Pokemon not on that list are currently obtainable only as a starter.
  6. 12. Most of them can be purchased with credits by interacting with the notes on the stools, but a few need to be found.
  7. I OHKO'd Rosetta's whole team. First Flygon took out Klefki with Earthquake, then Toxicroak took care of everyone else with Poison Jab. That being said, I probably only was able to do so with Gardevoir because mega evolutions have pre-mega speed on the turn they mega evolve. Also, I'm still missing two vendors from the mansion: the one that sells elite trainer items and the one that sells high-end mainstream items. Does anyone know where those two are? They should be the top two vendors at the first table from the entrance to the room.
  8. First you have to defeat Rosetta. Then speak to an NPC with the Brawler sprite at the benches in Central Cellia. He'll give you a key, which will open a locked building in South Cellia. In there is where you'll find the key you seek.
  9. It's GlitchxCity's Sonic Generations Crisis City remix.
  10. I didn't know it could turn green then. I just checked the event in RPG Maker and there seems to be no condition under which it turns green. There's one event page and all of it is in normal text.
  11. Not sure which specific instance of it happening that you mean, so: 1. When she asks what a hero is, choose the someone that's envied option 2. "She saved Shiv's life". You have to have read the secret book in the Archives for this.
  12. Note that in order to find them, you have to talk to the receptionist and stay at the hotel first, which is the northmost building at the docks.
  13. I did acknowledge that every region has references to previous regions. " Every set of games has references to previous regions, but there tend to be more references to the next region getting a remake than any other, plus data for Pokemon from those regions found in the games." I don't really consider Battle Tree characters as references to previous regions or remake hints. A lot of games have had returning characters from former games, and aside from possibly Jasmine showing up in Johto I don't believe it's ever been anything more than just a character returning. Looker has been in every game from Platinum onwards except HGSS, Cynthia was in BW and BW2, Crasher Wake was in HGSS, a lot of characters were in the PWT, and some characters from a variety of regions showed up for the Battle Tree in SM. I also don't consider the mention of Pokemon from previous regions as a reference to the regions themselves (re: Giratina, Palkia, and Bronzong mentioned in Burnet's books). Point taken about everything else, though. I didn't know the Pokemon website had Sinnoh books since I only really visit the website when there's new info on upcoming games.
  14. Yeah, leader vs leader dialogue is all fun and games, and it's entertaining to watch. I was just worried about leaders being overly aggressive to challengers who may not be okay with that.
  15. This is more of a question than a suggestion, but I figured it'd be the best place to ask. If a leader is making someone uncomfortable, would that leader be told to stop? I realize these are people playing the personalities of characters, but I thought some things Edgar said today were questionable. Most notably his "whale of a mother" comment to someone. No one seemed to mind, but I think saying something like that is going way too far without knowing if the person you're talking to is okay with it. Like I said no one seemed to mind so I assume it wasn't a problem here, but I definitely wouldn't be okay if someone talked to me like that, whether they're roleplaying or not. Reading some of what Edgar said actually made my heart rate go up even though nothing was directed at me and no one else minded. One of the community rules is "Fun at the expense of others isn't fun" and I assume the league has the same rules as the forums, but I just wanted to make sure so this doesn't possibly happen to me.
  16. For some reason I thought that guitar case was a surfboard before I read the description. His redesign looks really cool . o .
  17. I would like a return to Kanto where we can see the continuation of Lillie and Lusamine's adventure. SM had a lot of references to Kanto. Every set of games has references to previous regions, but there tend to be more references to the next region getting a remake than any other, plus data for Pokemon from those regions found in the games. Ex: Hoenn had references to both Kanto and Johto, but a lot more to Kanto. The day and night cycle from Johto was done away with until DPPt, and although Emerald came after FRLG, I still think it's interesting how Emerald removed all references of Johto from the original RS. For Pokemon data, Diamond and Pearl had Johto starter data, and XY had Mega Latias and Latios in the code, while none of those were obtainable in the games. SM has Mew's Z move, while Mew isn't obtainable in SM, and I'm not sure the z crystal can be obtained legitimately either. It could be said not to expect Mew to be like them since Mew has always only been event obtainable, but Deoxys lost that status in ORAS. Going back to references, there are a ton of Kanto references in SM. 1. The player character and mom are originally from Kanto 2. Professor Kukui battled the Kanto Gym Leaders and E4 3. All of the Alolan forms are of Gen 1 Pokemon 4. The Nugget Bridge mimics at Malie Garden. The last one also mentions wondering what Giovanni is up to these days. 5. Oak has a cousin studying the regional variants/Alolan forms 6. Kanto and Johto were mentioned as influencing certain cities in Alola. IIRC, Heahea City and Malie City were both mentioned to have been formed from travelers from those regions. Additionally, there were two sets of starters to receive Mega Evolutions in Gen 6: Kanto and Hoenn. Mega Blaziken was shown first in XY, then the other two came in ORAS. I don't really think it's likely there'll be more megas in the future, since from what I've heard a bunch of mega stones aren't even obtainable in SM and I read an article about some needing to be earned from online play? I think the mechanic may continue to exist, but that there probably isn't any interest in making more or having it being near as important as it was in Gen 6. (I also think if there's a gen 8, z moves will get similar treatment from then on) Additionally, we know nothing of Necrozma's mysterious connection to Ultra Beasts. It just had a random appearance at the end of the postgame UB quest, and appeared in Ten Carat Hill's grass like a regular wild encounter (and just like the UBs). We didn't get much info on Zygarde in Kalos, and while some people including me were expecting Z, it was actually in SM, a completely new region, that Zygarde got backstory, instead of in a third version or sequel. Maybe that will continue with Necrozma, where through Lusamine we could learn more about it in Kanto games. I don't really think it'd be good to just leave the connection unexplained. In the anime, Ash travels with a lot of the female protagonists. There was May, Dawn, and Serena. Leaf didn't exist yet when the anime was in the first season, and Unova seems to be an exception to many common themes in the series in more ways than one. I don't watch the anime and consider it a separate universe from the games, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had some extra/future game knowledge, considering some Pokemon have appeared way ahead of their official reveals. Even if all this can be countered, I still just want to see Lusamine make a recovery ^~^
  18. Happy birthday! Here's an ice cream sandwich
  19. No, you won't lose any progress when updating. Your save file is stored in a different folder of your computer.
  20. There's also Amaria. Titania is the leader who uses the desert. Hardy's gym is in Agate.
  21. Tyrunt is currently unable to evolve. This is a bug.
  22. The closest I can think of is making a copy of your save file to go back to in case you miss something for the ending you want. Yes. You can evolve it in the generator room of Cellia's power plant, but first you'll need to beat episode 4's leader and then speak to an NPC at Cellia's benches to start a quest to unlock the room.
  23. Marbles are part of a sidequest, but you haven't been to the place where they're used yet. Episode 3 = 3 gyms, 10 badges total Episode 4 = 2 gyms, 12 badges total Episode 5 = 2 gyms, 14 badges total Episode 6 = 4 gyms, 18 badges total Episode 7 = E4, Champion, and postgame
