Things that you DONT like on Pokemon Reborn.
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Karyuudan's topic in Reborn City
It being just an NPC convo is exactly why I find it odd. With the leaders, levels have to be mentioned so players will know the max obedience level (they're also listed on the trainer card, but not everyone looks at the trainer card often). But with these two NPCs, they don't serve as a way to explain something to the player about levels. These are just two people having a normal, in-universe, non-gameplay mechanic related conversation in a universe where Ame considers levels only a gameplay mechanic for the player. -
Things that you DONT like on Pokemon Reborn.
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Karyuudan's topic in Reborn City
It's not necessarily something I dislike, just find odd and maybe could use updating. Ame has said more than once before that she imagines levels don't literally exist and are just for gameplay purposes like when a character gives you an item and tells you what button to push to use it (I agree with this). But also, in the new Reborn City the Joey fanboy youngsters near the fountain in Peridot fantasize about a Pokemon going over level 100. Mention of levels is unavoidable when getting a gym badge, since it'll have to be explained what level the badge allows obedience up to. The Snubbull girl also probably needs to be explicit, although when she says Snubbull stopped obeying at level 20, it should actually be 21. They'll obey up to level 20 without a badge, it's when they go over that they start to disobey. But with Ame's thoughts on levels only as a gameplay mechanic, the youngsters talking about levels like that doesn't really make sense to me. -
S2 Redemption League Leader Reveals
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Melody's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
You can battle the leaders in any order up to the highest bracket you can challenge, so you don't have to face Nick first or Olivia second. -
Jan said only the first four know where the Pokemon League is. We know where Tesla lives, but we'd have to battle her at the Pokemon League along with the other three and the Champion.

You don't go back to the mansion later, at least as of current release. You can find the book by doing the Hidden Library help requests. The first is in Gearen's Help Center and the second is in Sheridan's. But there's a second book at a later area called Sheridan Wetlands, although that's a few badges after the mansion, and as mentioned before you can't go back to the mansion after your business there is done. I do think there's another Gothita event later on if you don't get it here, but I could be remembering wrong. EDIT: Wait nvm I missed the last part of your post. For the snatched Pokemon quest, it's in Gearen's help center. After taking it, meet the client in Gearen Laboratories.

E16 Public Release now available!
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Amethyst's topic in News and Announcements
To start E16, you need to be in the back room of the Big Top (where Ciel is). Then exit there and a text box should come up about this being the start of E16. -
Oh, for HMs in Spork, you won't need to have a Pokemon learn the move, you'll just need to have the HM. Your player character will use the move. The only exception is Fly since there's no overworld obstacle for Fly and it can only be activated from the party screen with a Pokemon that knows it. Yes, it's safe to save inside the gyms.

Melia said Tesla is the sixth member. So if 1-4 are the gatekeepers and 5-8 are the hidden E4, Tesla would be one of the hidden.

I somehow forgot Tepig even though I'm currently working on the part of Virima beyond the bridge where the Tepig are fighting XD I brought up breeders with SPB. They won't be removed from Legend Mode, but they will have changes both in normal and legend. For both, their levels will be reduced and they'll have moves that can damage the player instead of Healing Wish. In legend mode, the amount of EXP gained from defeating Audino will also be reduced.

Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Chimchar, Piplup, and Froakie. Charmander's event will be in episode 5. (Part of Squirtle's event already exists, but can't be completed currently as the player needs Surf for that which will be obtained in ep 3) I responded to the level cap thought in a previous post where it was suggested: "I've been against using a level cap for Spork since before development started. I also don't think I should include one after an episode of the game has already released, as this could punish players who started before the level cap was implemented if they have Pokemon that would end up being above the level cap. This happened to me in another fangame called Full Moon, which added a level cap after 6 episodes (8 gyms) in. My Pokemon were in the mid-70s when the level cap was added, while the level cap for the 8th gym was either 60 or 65 (I don't remember which). If I ever did decide to include a level cap, I would make it optional." The breeders are in case people have battled all the available trainers and are still underleveled. After episode 3 is released though there'll be a Legend Mode shortly after, and I'm glad you mentioned breeders since things will probably need to be done with them for Legend Mode, like reducing Audino's EXP, having them putting up a fight instead of only using Healing Wish, or removing them entirely, etc. and I actually hadn't considered that before. I'll bring this up with SPB.

[Season 2] Redemption League Discussion Board
Ice Cream Sand Witch replied to Bazaro's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
If it's like season 1, there is no close date. You can sign up whenever until the season ends. -
Shelly's is Volbeat. Hardy's could be either Gigalith or Lunatone and Solrock. On his trainer cards for the online league, I've seen both next to him on cards.

Team Crescent isn't meant to be a ripoff of Madara. This has come up several times in the thread and Caz has said he doesn't like Naruto. IIRC it was inspired more by Inception.

I saw Curious Cacturne when he was on the "Newest Member" part of the forum index. . o . -
Every non-legendary Gen 1-6 first form Pokemon + Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio can be obtained as a starter. The rest of the non-legendary first form Gen 7 Pokemon will be available as starters too in episode 3.

There are a few locations you can find him in, each at a specific time of day. To battle him, you need to find him at all the locations. I don't remember which time of day corresponds to which location, but here's where you can find him: -library of the gym -Wispy Tower -inside the Odd House
-
That's the last we see of her for now. You won't find her if you go back to Goldenleaf. You can find and battle the reserve Ghost leader though.
-
If you send me your save file, I'd be willing to give you all the Pokemon you lost back, with their movesets and natures too if you remember them.

At the endgame when we reach level 100, will the final battles be at level 100 regardless of difficulty mode? Wondering because in Casual, Madame X's Yveltal is at level 90.

Ohhh, ok. I tend to forget that exists since I didn't even do it my first time through, and only did it later for the glasses then moved the whole Aventurine Woods area to the back of my mind. Sometimes I forget there's a part of the woods between exiting Tanzan and reaching Route 1.
