  1. Thanks for the feedback, this is very helpful! -I fixed being able to walk through the black spaces in the Training Center just now. Do you remember the other areas where you were able to walk through places the player shouldn't be able to? I had a difficult time with certain parts of mountains and cliffs where the edges turn directions and such, but I'm hoping to get better at this. I know about the water's edge not showing when transitioning from land to water, but I haven't been able to figure out why it happens. I agree with you about the TVs and trash bins. I always wanted to have some kind of TV program like Reborn and Rejuvenation have, but I hadn't decided what it should be about or who/what the reporter should be (ideally, I'd like to it not be too similar to Reborn or Rejuvenation's programs so it doesn't feel like a clone of them, but still be updated at certain points like they are to give a reason to keep checking). There are two trash bins that can be interacted with, but one is for a TM and the other is just a joke about drunk people throwing up in the bar. I really should make a text box come up for empty ones, since the player might get the impression that there's nothing in the trash bins if there's not even a "this trash can is empty" message, and so may end up not checking the one (so far) that actually does have something in it. -With pre-1.6 basically every house and building was like this. Although I reduced the size of most of them, Jim's house went untouched because I couldn't decide whether or not I should change it. On one hand there definitely is a lot of space, but on the other I feel like since it's a gym there should be more to it than the average NPC house. There will be bigger outside areas in episodes 2-4; episode 1 just takes place in a smaller, closer-together part of the region. I actually already planned out levels before development started (the final Gym Leader's ace is level 86, and later cities will have no trainer battles aside from the breeder to prevent too much EXP similar to how in Reborn there are a lot of battles within Reborn City but none in later cities/towns like Spinel and Ametrine). -I've been against using a level cap for Spork since before development started. I also don't think I should include one after an episode of the game has already released, as this could punish players who started before the level cap was implemented if they have Pokemon that would end up being above the level cap. This happened to me in another fangame called Full Moon, which added a level cap after 6 episodes (8 gyms) in. My Pokemon were in the mid-70s when the level cap was added, while the level cap for the 8th gym was either 60 or 65 (I don't remember which). If I ever did decide to include a level cap, I would make it optional. -I'm really glad people are reading the library books I didn't know how many people would check them, but I like making puns so I added them to the bookcases anyway. A spriter named Palletite is to thank for the trainer sprites of the characters.
  2. It is, but I was saying that it used to belong to Melia in the second battle in V7. I made a lot of mix-ups with wording and I'm sorry for the confusion.
  3. Melia has the Silver theme. "Other way around" was a completely wrong choice of words on my part, sorry x . x I only meant that Melia used to have the Cyrus theme in the second battle, and Madame X used to have Dimensional Rift. I had completely forgotten Melia in the equation after mentioning the Cyrus theme. That's 3 mix ups now.
  4. Actually Melia has the Cyrus theme in the second battle. Madame X has the same theme as the Dimensional Rifts. EDIT: Wait, just tested and you were right. I could've sworn it was the other way around... maybe it changed from V7 to V8, and I just didn't pay attention to it when I restarted for V8. I made 2 mix-ups in 1 thread.
  5. All of the characters Sr. F mentioned are from Rejuvenation. Amanda will be Amaria's new name starting in V9. EDIT: Wait I thought you were Ace Trainer Vince responding to Sr. F because you have the same avatar. Rejuvenation is a fan game like Reborn is, and you can find it in the Pokemon Rejuvenation subforum.
  6. Legendaries have been confirmed for being postgame.
  7. I like the Glameow's reaction to the cracks. Is Mars voiced by the same person who did Courtney? Jupiter sounds younger than she looks and Cynthia sounds older than she looks. I like how the black puddles look. "Are you content now that you've interfered with my plans and ruined everything." He says that so quietly and calm like he doesn't even care, lol. Like other people said, I like that he's happy with the Distortion World.
  8. E16 is in beta testing right now. The community release (for forum members) will come out once the beta testing is done, and the public release (for the front site page/non-forum members) will come out some time after that.
  9. Grand Dream City looks even more amazing than I expected it to!
  10. Outside of starter choice, Spiritomb will be available a bit later than Cranidos (both will be in episode 2, though). In terms of matchups against episode 1's gyms: Cranidos resists the first gym's type, is super effective against the second, is neutral both ways to the third gym's type, and is weak to the fourth and fifth gyms. Spiritomb is immune to the first gym's type, neutral to the second, super effective against the third, and neutral to the fourth and fifth.
  11. Reborn characters are based off actual people from the online league (Reborn was a PO league before it was a game). They didn't make him pan, he's pan because the real Cain is.
  12. I think an ice cream sand witch would be a cool idea for a costume.
  13. I'm already making Spork, and completing it would be enough to make me happy, but I have had a few other ideas I've thought of for games. 1. A prequel to Spork where the player is a Sea Star. I've planned some of it out in case I decide to do this. This would show important past events like the beginning of the Pokemon League in the Ceolis region. The player wouldn't be challenging the league, since the league formation would be the end point of the prequel and there was only one Champion before, so the player dethroning him would contradict that. In the player's journey they would end up meeting some of the future Gym Leaders and E4 and battle them under different circumstances, though. (death isn't a thing in the Spork universe, so some characters who look like young adults are Really 700 Years Old) 2. Parodies of the official games based on name puns. For example, the RBY/FRLG parody would take place in the Canned Toe region (with gray walls replacing trees in some maps to represent it being canned). Your rival is Glue, a literal bottle of glue. Gym Leaders and E4 have different types since they have different name puns (although Misty is still Water, since her name pun is Miss Tea). 3. Pokemon Meme Version. Starter is Mudkip, since the professor herd u liek them. Levels go over 9000. The main legendary is an ogre that represents love and life. When you beat a Gym Leader, the guide at the entrance says "Damn champ in the making, back at it again with the badges." Two villainous teams: Team White and Gold, and Team Black and Blue, who argue over what colors a specific legendary Pokemon is. When you enter the Hall of Fame, you're congratulated on being the 1,000,000 visitor and when you win a battle the "Congratulations, you won" sound effect plays. The bike is a unicycle that turns you into a Greninja when you ride it.
  14. There's a hiker in Bolaii Beach, the last area of the episode, who sells all the evolution stones. For the Water Stone, there's also one available before then. In Cianosa City, there's a little girl near the fountain looking for a fountain pen. You can find a Fountain Pen in Aliora City's fountain, and she'll give you a Water Stone in exchange for it. I'm happy you're enjoying the game
  15. Off the top of my head 1. I am just an ordinary tree taking part in photosynthesis. PHOTOSYNTHESIS...PHOTOSYNTHESIS... Do you like looking at trees all day? Do you get a kink out of that? DUDE. I'M A GODDAMN TREE. WOULD YOU JUST STOP TOUCHING ME. 2. The Goldenleaf town meeting. 3. The conversation in V8 with Melia and Aelita in Terajuma Jungle. 4. When Saki and friends arrive in Valor Mountain on the machine. 5. Conclusion to Valor Mountain.
  16. Also, about why they're still moving after defeating the Abra for a while before they stop, ZEL said that objects will continue to teleport for some time before returning to normal.
  17. Is the thread title an Imagine Dragons reference? . o .
  18. It was Gen 5 when the Reborn game started. Gen 6 came out when Reborn was in E10. With only four episodes left, I think it's possible we'll still be in Gen 7 when E19 comes out assuming there's more to Gen 7 than SM (although later Gen 7 games will probably add new mechanics like ORAS added new megas and Primal Reversion).
  19. What does the box say? What does the ox say? What do you think would be the best thing about being a penguin? @AI response: couldn't we just program them to not rebel? What will happen when we give you a satisfactory amount of questions?
  20. Ame said Gen 7 will most likely come in the final episode, E19.
  21. If you've beaten the whale, continue through the mountain. Tesla and Amber don't make an appearance after that until after the events at Valor Mountain are finished.
  22. It was said we'll find out who the Champion is in E16. Also it can't be Ame because Ame never wanted to include herself in the game in the first place, and only did so as a means of giving the player their starter.
