Version 9 isn't out yet. The current version is 8. You should be able to go directly to 8, just be careful of where you save before updating since V8 changed a lot of areas. Gearen Laboratory is probably the safest place to save in before updating. Also, if you want to start over for V8, I'd be happy to give you an Eevee if you send me the new file when/if you start over.

These are all SM related, but nothing recent from the demo or datamine that people might be trying heavily to avoid spoilers for.

Your save file won't be altered. You'll still have all your progress, you just won't have the relationship points from events you've already done on a pre-E16 save file, so all characters will be neutral to you.

I think the reason PULSEs don't have a back sprite is because they were never intended to be obtained by the player (the dev team probably just didn't take into account people transforming into them with Ditto, or didn't think it merited the creation of a back sprite).

If you go into your computer's C Drive -> Users -> Saved Games -> Reborn -> Game, you can rename the "Game" data file to Game1 and then start a new file in Reborn. The other file will still exist and you can get back to it by naming it Game again and changing the name of the new file to something like Game2.

also @ those who asked what the community release is: community release is the period after beta testing where the episode is visible to any forum members but not to the public (people not on the forums) as like a final test for bugs and such before it becomes available to everyone on the front page of the site.

Ame has another game planned (not a fangame, a game made from scratch) after Reborn called Starlight Divide.

I wonder what would happen if the creator of a fangame that was targeted by Nintendo sent them the link saying Masuda is alright with it (not saying I think it'll be happening more; I think the storm has calmed for now, just curious). So I (think I) finished what's currently in the demo (as in not including future events mentioned in the game). This is probably an unusual thing to stick out to someone, but I really liked some of the graphics. I don't just mean the graphics overall, but also the type of objects that were used. As in there were buildings that had coffee machines, fire extinguishers, and others that I don't think have ever been seen in a Pokemon game before. Also, it could just be that I wasn't doing it correctly, but it seems like we can't sit in chairs or on benches anymore like we could in XY. Not that it really matters to me. Hopefully I remember to check every day for all the timed events ^^'

Re: why did it take them so long to come out about it, it's actually not uncommon for it to take years to come out about sexual assault, and some people never do. Many don't come forward immediately out of shame or fear. People might say it was their fault, ask how they could "let" it happen, or ask what they were wearing, etc. Especially if it's a celebrity, where people who are fans of that celebrity will think it was a lie to get attention or money. I actually don't know what Benghazi is (as in I don't know if it's a place or a person or a political event etc), but from what I've read (albeit on a One Piece forum) it's actually a completely fabricated issue that originally Mitt Romney was blamed for. I tried to find the specific posts that go into detail about it, but the thread is over 400 pages and the search function isn't very good (you can't search within a topic).

Normal/Fighting = Mega Lopunny, Meloetta Pirouette. Fire/Dragon = Reshiram, Mega Charizard X. Grass/Dragon = Mega Sceptile. Also just curious, why do you spell Hoenn as Hoehn? (tbh the main reason I replied was to ask this, I've been wondering for a while)
