  1. There's a focus sash under the grand staircase, maybe it's going to be useful against that garchomp. You have intimidate support on stoutland, and some of your normal types can learn charm, hope this helps. You COULD make an exception to catch an arbok just to breed glare on your helioptile so you can paralyze the garchomp, but that's up to you. Then you can spam super fang hoping for parahax.
  2. Donphan, such a cool pokemon, but not that useful when we start to talk about battling. I can barely take special hits, and it's slow. Without EV investment or trick room, slow pokemon are just a waste of time. Do you want better ground types? Flygon, such a destructive beast, it has less attack, but the speed will definitely help a ton. But what I really recommend is a mamoswine, because your team is SUPER weak to dragon spam (since things like dragonite and garchomp always carry firepunch or earthquake for your mawile), Saphira is probably going to be your nightmare, but hey! The dragonslayer is there to help you out, but you will have to breed icicle crash/icicle spear on it, otherwise it's going to be bad. Porygon is limited in reborn, it has such a terrible movepool without TMs. I think you probably want an eletric type. I'll give you a tip: You have a ninetales, you can set up the sun, there's one eletric type that has solar power, and with this ability + it's huge movepool it can be a monster. Heliolisk. HP Ice, Grass Knot, Dark Pulse and thunderbolt are good, but you might consider switching dark pulse for focus miss in the future. I guess you can put this thing on your PC box waiting for the mega, because non-mega mawile is not that great, do you want a fairy? Gardevoir and sylveon can replace it. If you want a steel type you can go for a durant, though empoleon won't be bad, because as I can see, you don't have water types. Anyways, mawile is good, this moveset is good, but non-mega mawile stats are not that great, even with sheer force (Swords dance over brick break is a good option too), so... just wait for the mega. Ah, one of my favourite pokemon from gen 6, this moveset is really great, but I'd recommend tailwind over shadow ball as a last resort move when you know you're about to go down, so you can support your teammates. Then a +speed nature will be better (timid or naive, you can change them at the 7th street). Another thing that doesn't get good stuff without TMs, if you want a physical grass type, I just have one word: Gogoat. This thing is bulky as hell, though it has bad physical defense, but there's a solution: Bulk Up, after some bulk ups you'll be indestructible. For the moveset: Horn Leech, EQ, Aerial Ace, Bulk Up is the best. BUUTT if you want a faster mon, leavanny all the way, it has clorophyll and access to sticky web support, some of your team members would love some speed boosts. (One stat decreased on the other opponent is the equal to one stat increased to you and him with neutral stats.) You can breed energy ball to replace dark pulse, and will-o-wisp to replace extrasensory, that's it. But if you get energy ball, a miracle seed will be way better. Here you go, an Etesian's big paragraphs style analysis, a good analysis.
  3. Grass type: Leavanny, I think it fits really well in your team, since you don't have extremely fast mons, and sticky web support will be really useful. Eletric type: Magnezone, a steel type is always good, analytic magnezone is the best one, sturdy/mirror coat is really bad actually, since you'll only have one kill. Also, are you EV training? Samurott: I guess you can use air slash, surf, grass knot and hidden power fighting. Growlithe: Agility, heat wave, close combat and outrage. I'd say swamp Meowstic, reuninclus/gengar/metagross are way better. Murkrow... Tailwind, yeah, and prankster, so when you evolve it you'll have moxie honchkrow.
  4. Every team has a mon that always save your life in a gym/meteor/rival battle, it's basically the MVP (Most Valued Player) of your reborn team. Mine is magnezone, when I think I'm going to lose it just come through, it's amazing. What's your MVP/lifesaver? P.S. When new/experient look at this thread, they will see what pokemon is useful in this game, since a lifesaver is almost always the best pokemon on your team. So it will help them if they have some trouble on team building. So I think this fits better in team showcase than in reborn city.
  5. Because at +3 Att and speed he'll be outspeeding everything, and moxie is going to boost the attack anyways. OH WAIT, NO MOXIE GYARADOS? Uh, I really recommend an ability capsule, gyarados needs moxie.
  6. Try setting up 3 d-dances while you're paralyzed, then use a paralyze heal. Proceed to sweep.
  7. Gym leader official help thread. It's pinned in the team showcase section, if you want a rate on your team just post a topic asking for. But I'd recommend finishing EP14 before creating a RMT topic P.S. You know that you can use a paralyze heal on gyarados right?
  8. Follow

    Cant find Skrelp

20% chance in the poison water, you're just unlucky, keep trying and the skrelp will appear soon.
  9. I'd say fairy, it's a pretty hard challenge, in the start, you can't get many good pokemon, you'll have to beat Julia with cleffa/clefable, or you can go back to EP 10 and get a ralts (so it will be your starter).
  10. NEW CHALLENGE! Every half normal that doesn't evolve on a normal type needs to be shiney, just a little challenge. Good luck against Kiki. Unfortunately there's no staraptor in the current version , also, tell me how painful is grinding a skitty and an azurill.
  11. At least for me, a fighting type is necessary in every team, something like toxicroak or machamp, even chesnaught. Are some good options, but nothing can beat the trio that we can get after the agate lock up. Lucario, conkeldurr or mienshao, six good pokemon to choose. I hope it helped.
  12. I'm from Brazil sir. Anyways, I think we should fight the leaders at their best, so I'd normally say "wait". BUT, this monorun is so fun to read, and I don't want to see it stopping before Serra for 3 months, so I'll have to say DON'T STOP. SIR! IS THAT A QUESTION? A MONORUN ISN'T A MONORUN IF YOU DON'T BEAT GARCHOMP AND ARCEUS. Also, you said that you want to complete the normal type pokedex, so you'll need to get that azurill, just don't evolve it. Soon you'll be getting Cinccino and sawsbuck, two OP normal types.
  13. Calm down, don't make our new friend scared. Anyways, I COULD suggest a team, but Etesian is the god of team creating so I'll leave that for him.
  14. You sir, have a decent PC box. That's for sure
  15. All right guys, so, this is not going to be a chapter, it's just because I made a decision. I'm going to wait for E15 and Serra field effect so I can keep up this monorun, I just want to have a chance to fight her in her new field effect, so I'll have to wait, hopefully it's not going to take so long.
  16. Archeops, staraptor, honchkrow, charizard, crobat, yanmega, just show your team to the gym leaders so they will give tou a free badge, lol. Flying is definitely one of the easiest monoruns, and when we are able to get the razor fang for gliscor, it will be the easiest.
  17. Water pulse is not a TM, scald is.
  18. Ha! Doubles with set are easy, but kiki is going to be a big threat. I don't think something in your team can outspeed medicham. Are you going to stop the monotype when you reach Serra to wait for EP15 and her field effect?
  19. There's only Hoothoot avaliable before Flobot (There's Ledian, but it's way too terrible), omg, that nickname tho, mega jumpluff with spore and prankster confirmed for X2 Y2. Ha, I'm going to do comment now, but I want to use Xatu as my flying type (When I reach the place, of course)
  20. Chapter 06: Pulse tangrowth I thought that ZEL was going to be hard, but... I just cleaned the obsidia ward, everyone with 21+ levels, Cielo learned cut, ready to the fight... Leading with skiploom (nickname, please), get of two tail whips on that ugly tangrowth before fainting, then Teddy spammed fury swipes, the end. In my first save file I had a really bad time against ZEL, but this? This was so easy that I could beat him even if he had two tangrowths (maybe). I saved the daycare couple, but I don't think I'm going to use them just yet. Also, skiploom is terrible, I need to evolve it as soon as possible so it will be able to do some work, but I'm thinking about waiting until Aya so I can get Infestation, ugh, I really want to use it, but he'll have to stay at my box for a while. I caught some nice mons in the park, like sunflora, sentret and bonsly, but I'm not going to use them in the main team anyways. Sentret is going to be a HM Slave as soon as I get rock smash and breed a new one with frisk and covet for item searching in wild pokemon. If you didn't know that, if you breed a male teddiursa with covet and a female sentret (breed multiple eggs so you can get one with frisk) and then catch someone with compoundeyes, you can have a Frisk + covet combo in one pokemon, it's really useful, just saying. Time to clean the Onyx ward, I'm probably going to fight Fern in the next update, then, in another update I'll fight Flobot, I have no idea on how to deal with her. I'm probably going to train a hoothoot that I have in my PC box to see if I can have an easier battle.
  21. I'll talk about movesets in the future. When you're about to fight Serra, breed a new snivy, and level it up to level 43 (I think) without evolving, that will give you a contrary leaf storm, also, there is HP Rock, it can cover every grass weakness but poison. The other two: Glare is always nice to have, but dragon pulse when the tutor is avaliable is the way to go, and giga drain, after some leaf storm boosts, giga drain will be doing an insane amount of damage + recovery. Before Ame decides to put Manectite + Whatever that can mega evolve pokemon, manectric won't be that good, but it of course it can do some work. Discharge as main STAB + Nice paralysis chance. Flamethrower after charlotte for... some more coverage. HP Ice is a must, otherwise you'll get walled by ground types. And for the last? Charge beam can work, but you don't have the bulk to set up, so I think thunder wave will be decent. If you want a better electric type get yourself an analytic magnezone, or you can get that vulpix and use solar power heliolisk. No swirlix, no granbull, you said that you want an eevee, use sylveon. Moonblast as main STAB move, HP ground to beat steel and poison, shadow ball is always nice to have. And the nuke, trump card, you can also swap shadow ball for misty terrain, so the last trump card hit will destroy everything, it doesn't matter if it resists, if it's neutral or if it's super effective, something is going to die. Prankster shenanigans, get yourself a light clay on the mining rocks, give this thing light screen and reflect, boom. But you know what this team really needs? A powerful goomy. A fighting type, fighting types are important, yeah... that's it.
