  1. It's not possible as far as I know. The chain is impossible to make, sorry. Only the psychic + energy ball one is avaliable (check the breeding guide), but no cm + energy ball. Ralts > Solosis for a solosis with calm mind Swirlix > Castform for a castform with energy ball Solosis with calm mind + castform with energy ball for a solosis with calm mind and energy ball Solosis + litwick = Litwick with energy ball and calm mind, I think it works, let me just check if I did something wrong I THINK it works. And I edited this, so don't worry if you saw phantump before (it doesn't work because phantump can't learn cm, but solosis can.)
  2. Empoleon + Landorus-T Empoleon @ Leftovers Ability: Torrent EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD Sassy Nature - Scald - Defog - Knock Off - Roar Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate EVs: 184 HP / 216 Def / 108 Spe Impish Nature - Earthquake - Stealth Rock - U-turn - Stone Edge Landorus is extremely weak to ice and water, empoleon resists both. Empoleon is weak to fighting, electric and ground, and landorus-t has two immunities and one resistance out of those three. The core is quite weak to keldeo, but... the teammates are there to help right? Thanks. P.S. A balanced team will be the best place to put this core, because in an offensive team it will stop the offensive action everytime one of its members come to the field.

  4. Ubers is the worst place to fight in the low ladder. You can find froakies, pikachus, and other things like that.
  5. First, for all the fletchinder fans, cresselia walls it, cresselia walls everything... yeah. So don't worry. And stealth rock + druddigon is another way do deal with it. Vlado, sucker punch is an option, but if my opponent know that I am scarf, he can play around my sucker punches, and that's not something I want, but it's definitely an option, I'll try that. Now, Hilda, for your analysis. For drapion, if I'm getting rid of scope lens, there's no point on running night slash or cross poison, so knock off and poison jab are replacing them. Another thing is that Aqua Tail would be better than EQ, because it can help me against rhyperior, steelix, regirock, etc. For the accelgor: I'll run sticky hold. The bad thing is that even alomomola can 2HKO me with knock off, even ALOMOMOLA, but that's fine, I don't want to lose my specs. Anyways, moving on. This? Glare, Stealth rock, dragon tail and snatch/sucker punch/gunk shot, fine. Now the big question, who can be replaced for emolga?
  6. Accelgor is 2HKO'd by everything in the tier, lol. The ability for it doesn't really matter, since it can't take a knock off from anything. About the mild nature, it's an option, but u-turn is not a damage move (unless you're running band scizor or mega beedrill), so I don't think I should remove defense to increase something I'll never use for damage. Thanks btw

      Maelstrom

I'm the kind of person who asks why anyways.

  8. Well, snatch is more effective with dragon claw.
  9. All right, there aren't any RU RMT topics here in reborn after 2 years, let me bring you one. This team is really good, I tried some changes, before getting it to perfection (For my type of perfection at least). So here we go. Emboar @ Choice Scarf Ability: Reckless EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Flare Blitz - Superpower - Wild Charge - Head Smash Just something I felt like using, because it's powerful, and because it can break walls and sweep when played correctly. Aside from the 2 main stabs and from the main coverage move (Wild Charge), we have head smash, because it gets a reckless boost, just because of that. Drapion @ Scope Lens Ability: Sniper EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Night Slash - Cross Poison - Swords Dance - Agility Double Dance Critical Drapion, really cool set, after the set up you win, or your opponent decides to ragequit because you're getting so many crits (Don't tell him/her you have scope lens, heh, let's see some rage). Sniper is for a powerful crit, of course. And the rest is really standard. Accelgor @ Choice Specs Ability: Unburden EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe Modest Nature - Bug Buzz - U-turn - Focus Blast - Sludge Bomb No, this isn't a suicide lead, thank you, this is a powerful specs bug buzz spammer, who saved my life 10000 times. This thing is so freaking good. Decent Special attack and wonderful speed, let's have some fun with the offensive variant. (Sludge Bomb is for fairies, and I'm modest because I don't want to get damage with u-turn, it's there just for the switch advantage) Tangrowth @ Assault Vest Ability: Regenerator EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpA Quiet Nature - Giga Drain - Knock Off - Earthquake - Sludge Bomb The team was looking weak to damage, like... weak to heavy hitters. So let's add this bulky monster, tangrowth has a wonderful movepool and legendary stats aside from SpD and Spe. Since it's SpD isn't good I decided to go with an assault vest variant. Man, assault vest is such a troll item, your opponent is like "Take this HP Ice/Fire", and then he's clicking that x button. Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD Bold Nature - Thunder Wave - Lunar Dance - Psyshock - Moonlight I hate fighting against cresselias, this thing is so freaking bulky. It can't be OHKO'd by anything with this spread (presuming it's not stat boosted), and thunder wave supports accelgor against scarf users. The rest is pretty obvious. Druddigon @ Rocky Helmet Ability: Rough Skin EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD Adamant Nature - Stealth Rock - Snatch - Dragon Claw - Sucker Punch Rough Skin and Rocky helmet to wear down stuff like cinccino (so funny when it dies tail slapping me), and EVs to maximize bulk. Stealth rock support is necessary, and snatch is there to stop set up sweepers. Sucker punch because priority is really important to have in a team. Importable
  10. Contrary mega sceptile with access to draco meteor (it's a dragon btw), I can't even think of the brokeness level.

      Sheep

For the record it's now actually in OU.

    3. Lagunn

      Lagunn

Well, another dead corpse beneath the Blizzard. hehe

    4. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

      ((if it hits...))

  11. About moltres, all this sets above are dangerous if you don't have a check or a counter... or SR support, I think the only real counters to moltres in RU are spdef cresselia and zweilous, and they do not take hits that well at all, but moltres was definitely better in RU, because now in UU there are like a hundred spdef monsters ready to laugh at moltres' face. In my opinion, if a pokemon is outclassed by so many other things in a tier, it should go down to a lower tier. And we know that moltres is outclassed by many other things in UU.
  12. Moltres is gone :( Still don't understand why, it wasn't THAT overpowered in RU because of stealth rocks. Now it's in the useless BL2 list, like... it's too bad in UU and too good in RU.
  13. Nice list! I like using many things that are there, like scarf emboar, gastrodon and mega banette. Anyways, I can't think about 10, what about 5? 5. Mega Steelix. This is one of the best counters for almost every physical attacker in RU, in UU and higher it's outclassed by mega aggron, but RU is where it really shines, it's like the best slurpuff check, stops tyrantrum from head smash spamming, it has stealth rock + roar support, has a crolix set with gyro ball and curse. Ahh so good. 4. Amoonguss. Really, one of my favourite ones, but not only in RU, this thing even has a place on ubers, anyways, spore is something that is going to force your opponent to think a lot about his moves, you can run Assault Vest (two stabs, HP fire and foul play/clear smog), even a choice item if you're feeling creative. It also gets clear smog which is an amazing move stopping set up sweepers. AANNDD it also gets one of the best abilities in the world: Regenerator. Man, amoonguss is really good. 3. Slowking. Another monster, many options for the moveset, nice bulk, access to set up moves like calm mind and nasty plot. And it's also a really great partner to Amoonguss. Ah, and look at this coverage: Fire Blast, Grass Knot, Ice beam, Scald, Psyshock, Dragon Tail. Slowking, calm down (How does it learn Fire blast tho). 2. Hitmonlee. Answer me, what's coming in safely to take a life orb reckless HJK (ghost types, duuuhh)? NOTHING. This thing destroys stall, it can 2HKO/OHKO the entire RU tier aside from ghost types and bulky ass stuff like Cresselia, defensive qwilfish and golbat. 1. Sigilyph, hands down. "Ah but it's not that good in RU", hey bro, do you think I'm talking about the regular magic guard stuff? No, this thing is a less OP yanmega. If you haven't faced a specs tinted lens yanmega in the UU tier, you're lucky. Tinted lens is such a good ability, with a nice base spatt is so freaking good, you can run modest or timid, it really depends on what you want to outspeed (You can always use leavanny for sticky web support if you want to use modest). Yeah, that's it. The cosmic stored power set is also really good, but I love the specs tinted lens set, and I think I use quite a lot in RU.
  14. UU Tier Toxicroak @ Assault Vest Ability: Dry Skin EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Ice Punch - Drain Punch - Sucker Punch - Gunk Shot This thing stops hydreigon, mega blastoise and completely walls alomomola and crocune. Drain punch + Assault vest is a really great combination, and since it's stab you'll be getting a lot of health back dealing a lot of damage, not like non-stab drain punch on other AV users like regirock where drain punch is almost useless since it's not going to deal decent damage. Sucker punch is necessary, it's going to help you against faster pokemon and even get some kills in possible AV users or things like chandelure, alakazam (no, it can't eat up a psychic from full HP, but if alakazam's sash has been broken sucker punch is a guaranted OHKO). Ice punch is for damage on things like gligar, hippowdown, donphan, and other physical walls that resist your two stabs. This set only has one problem: Foretress completely walls it, so maybe running a trapper magneton with it is a good idea.
  15. Gardevoir can't wall anything, poor physical defense stat and not a really decent HP, using it as a sweeper is way better, you can also run grass knot for the last move for Amaria and hardy. May I suggest switching gardevoir for reuninclus? Much bulkier, and can abuse the life orb + magic guard combo, so if you can set up a trick room all you have to do is spam stab psyshock. About the male nidoran: It doesn't need ice beam and tbolt, earth power and sludge wave stabs are definitely enough + flamethrower from charlotte and maybe shadow ball from shade. There's also the physical one: Poison Jab, EQ, Sucker Punch and megahorn/ice punch(when we get the tutor). Sceptile is fast and has a great special attack, but it can't get any decent sp.att attack without tutors, may I recommend running a physical set? Much more options, and when the mega comes all you have to do is breed a new one (though it's not going to be useful if the tutors aren't avaliable). Sceptile Meadow Plate Overgrow maximize speed and spatt - Leaf Blade - Iron Tail - Brick Break - Night Slash/X-Scissor And swords dance is necessary, just wait for the TM, it should appear soon in the game(I hope)
  16. Is this topic still alive? Have a set NU players. Cacturne @ Assault Vest Ability: Water Absorb EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 SpD Adamant Nature - Sucker Punch - Seed Bomb - Drain Punch - Fell Stinger/Poison Jab Cacturne is such a good pokemon in NU, though it's defenses aren't really that great. Assault vest seems like a solution, it's spdef will jump like this: 200 to 300, while hitting hard with stab seed bomb and priority sucker punch.
  17. Noo, what are you doing with scrafty, this thing is the best fighting type ever, so bulky and with 2 excellent set up moves. You can get dragon dance via altaria or bulk up (I prefer this one) via smeargle ANNDD drain punch via mienshao, both bulk up and drain punch via smeargle, this thing would be amazing, please no HJK, drain punch is better if you're using bulk up, just make sure it's EV'd in HP and spdef, maybe a little bit of attack, and since your attack is already being boosted by bulk up you can change it's ability to intimidate or shed skin, both are really useful. This is what I'm talking about Scrafty Big Root (I don't remember if it works with drain punch, if not use black belt) Intimidate/Shed Skin 180HP 252spdef and the rest in attack, or 252Hp 252 spdef - Drain punch - Bulk Up - Crunch (This thing needs knock off, but it's not avaliable, so go for crunch until Ame decides to add the tutor for it) - This last one is tricky, you could go for rest + shed skin combo, or maybe fake out for double battles, the elemental punches are options, but I don't like them because you already have fire + electric + ice coverage in your team. The rest is looking good, I think captivate is a great move for gardevoir, but when focus miss is avaliable it will be perfect, and hypervoice over moonblast when we get the gardevoirite.
  18. Lombre learns it at level 36. Some good water types not mentioned: Quagsire Unaware I forgot the EV spread, so I'll post it later. - Toxic - Scald - Recover - Stockpile Such a stally powerhouse, it can deal with Terra alone, after 3 stockpiles you'll be indestructible. All the four moves are avaliable through Panpour - Buizel - Skrelp - Pelipper - Gastrodon - Wooper. Seismitoad Swift Swim Maximize Spatt and speed - surf - sludge wave - earth power (from corsola) - grass knot And make it modest, you can also give it a life orb for more power, but of course you'll need rain support. Walrein Thick Fat Maximize HP and spdef - Curse - Earthquake - Waterfall - Ice ball This thing doesn't get a recovery move, so unfortunately you'll have to spend your money in healing items, but it's definitely a monster, I tested it. The chain for EQ and curse is camerupt > spheal
  19. Did you get the illegal assault vest with Aya in EP13? It will be the perfect item for tyrantrum since you don't want to run dragon dance. P.S. The rest is just fine, I gave the advice for your breeding anyways, so you did it already. P. P.S. Empoleon gets ice beam via remoraid in EP12
  20. Why does togekiss get drain punch? It can't even PUNCH

  21. There's a petilil event in the obsidia ward, I don't think it's in the guide. You need your second badge btw.
  22. Ever asked yourself if the devil is alive? I have your answer, yes, it's alive, in the form of a fairy bird with a cute face. Well, this is literally my first try at OU teambuilding that isn't complete trash, the advice is always important and all that. I didn't lose with team yet. Togekiss @ King's Rock Ability: Serene Grace EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Air Slash - Roost - Aura Sphere - Nasty Plot/Dazzling Gleam THIS, I'm in love with this thing, it's the most annoying thing ever, my opponent will have 20% chance to resist my overpowered flinches. Steel types are walling me? Aura sphere say no. Roost is here over nasty plot so I will stay longer in the battle filed. Ah, and I'm using dazzling gleam for now, but nasty plot is another option. Celebi @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 Spe Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Heal Bell - Recover - Psychic - Giga Drain Defensive Celebi so I can deal with threats like excadrill, mega lopunny if it does not carry ice punch, and it also destroys breloom. About heal bell and natural cure: Heal bell is to support my other guys, a paralyzed mega lopunny/devilkiss is extremely bad, so a cleric is important. Recover is obligatory, really. Heatran @ Leftovers Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD Calm Nature - Lava Plume - Stealth Rock - Toxic/Earth power - Protect/Will-O-Wisp SpDef Heatran is good, walling a lot of things in the tier, like talonflame, serperior, zard y, mega venusaur and skarmory. Lava plume is really useful, stealth rocks are important to lopunny, togekiss and drill, so I can break a potential focus sash/sturdy user and make everything a lot easier, the toxic protect is really useful, but I'm thinking about earth power to catch heatrans, and WoW to deal with switch-ins like tyranitar and gyarados. Slowbro @ Leftovers Ability: Regenerator EVs: 240 HP / 140 Def / 128 SpD Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Scald - Foul Play - Thunder Wave - Slack Off Mixed Wall to deal with everything heatran and celebi cannot deal with. It checks mega metagross, celebi can normally deal with metagross, but if it's packing ice punch slowbro is the perfect counter, since it can paralyze it and hit hard with foul play. So, if you put slowbro, celebi and heatran together you get a nice defensive core with no weaknesses (maybe gengar weak, but... eh, heatran can deal with it even if it's packing focus miss) Lopunny @ Lopunnite Ability: Limber Happiness: 0 EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - High Jump Kick - Frustration - Fake Out - Ice Punch I love mega lopunny, actually, I love everything with more than 110 base speed stat. This set is really standard, frustration is for dittos btw. Lopunny can check gengar unless my opponent predict the switch and use focus miss/sludge wave. Anyways, this is a fanatstic revenge killer/cleaner, all I have to do is send it out in the right moment when my opponent has been weakened due to hazards and by my other memebers, then have fun. Excadrill @ Choice Scarf Ability: Mold Breaker EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Rapid Spin - Earthquake - Rock Slide - Iron Head Well, this is here for speed control, speedy things, like mega manectric, mega aerodactyl, tornadus-t, etc. And for the spin, since hazard stacking is really annoying for this team. Anyways, scarf excadrill outspeed any other non-scarf pokemon in the tier, so the speed control is ok. Problems Azumarill: If it can set up I will get destroyed. Gengar: If it's packing focus blast and two stabs it can hit everything in my team super effective.

  24. Around Sub Bulk Up braviary, good memories from B/W battes.
  25. I wish we will find skarmory in EP15, I NEED IT because every single run in a pokemon game that I do needs a powerful skarmory. + it's not overpowered, what are you waiting for Ame? Skarmory doesn't need to live in a desert like other things (Hippopotas, vullaby) who will only be avaliable when we are able to explore the desert so... I won't be totally satisfied until my steel plated bird is avaliable. I also wish we could get our second pseudo in EP15, but Ame is probably not going to do that. P.S. Dratini, lapras, sneasel and totodile are in the game, but not avaliable because we don't have super rod or waterfall HM in function.
