  1. I'd say don't use it in battles, never, it's going to ruin the fun of the monorun.
  2. Hardy double battle will be harder than Ciel, (Rock slide spamming)
  3. Will you make a topic here to show us your progress? Like pyyrhron's awesome ice mono?
  4. NO! STOP IT GUYS, VOTE GRASS!! Anyways, will you take goomy as your custom starter since it's impossible to beat Julia with a noibat team?
  5. Sonikku, I'll try your suggestions too, and since you think gligar doesn't fit in my team, what do you recommend?
  6. If you say this people will vote grass... I voted, because I want to see someone's rage with Charlotte.
  7. This is an interesting one, but it's quite easy, since against Shade you can just use simple swoobat calm mind with light screen support from meowstic, and when you reach luna you can use gallade and gardevoir, not very challenging.
  8. Still wrecked by Corey (Unless he levels up to 34 - 35 and bring a lot of grass/poison but Crobat will be almost indestructible anyways).
  9. Do a grass one without starting with turtwig, then have fun against Corey
  10. Going to try this right now, thanks, I'll see what happens and then post what I got in this comment.
  11. Hi, this is my first try at team building, so if it's quite terrible, don't say "that's terrible", but give me some advice so I can make it better, I won some battles with it and I think it's not that bad, but the advice is of course really important, so let's go. (sorry for the grammar errors) Cradily @ Leftovers Ability: Storm Drain EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 12 Def / 232 SpD Careful Nature - Curse - Recover - Seed Bomb - Rock Slide Basic curse cradily to build around, this thing is so underrated, after some curses, nothing can stop it, the thing is: Almost no one uses Cradily, so they don't know how to deal with it, and storm drain definitely can help when I'm fighting things like crocune or another mega sharpedo, since crunch/ice fang can't OHKO me and I can then retaliate back with a seed bomb. Seed Bomb and Rock slide are good STAB moves since there aren't many pokemon that resist both rock and grass in UU, like... chesnaught, toxicroak (though toxicroak does not take hits well at all if I can get to +3). Magneton @ Choice Scarf Ability: Magnet Pull EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Volt Switch - Thunderbolt - Flash Cannon - Hidden Power [ice] Even with a timid nature HP Ice can OHKO D-dance salamance as long it doesn't set up, it entered after cradily because it basically can deal with every cradily weakness aside from fighting, and it can trap some bad stuff for cradily like roar/toxic empoleon and eviolite doublade to get some damage so mega-sharpedo/cradily/crobat will have a better match. Gligar @ Eviolite Ability: Immunity EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD Bold Nature - Roost - Swords Dance - Baton Pass - Defog/Knock off SD pass with no attacking moves, I can pass SD to mega sharpedo, or even to rhyperior if I want to (like... I can pass it to Rhyperior if my opponent has some pokemon that sharpedo can't 2HKO and... oh wait, mega sharpedo can 2HKO everything at +2 after stealth rocks, lol (Haven't tried against mega agrron yet)). Defog is useful since crobat won't appreciate rocks damage, but knock off can be used for some eviolite/assault vest/choiceitem threats. Sharpedo @ Sharpedonite Ability: Speed Boost EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Adamant Nature - Waterfall - Crunch - Protect - Ice Fang The main sweeper/cleaner, as I mentioned, everything in this tier is 2HKO'd if I can pass a SD, I used to have EQ, but I just noticed that it was so stupid because strong jaw crunch STAB will always do more damage than a regular EQ, so now I'm running strong jaw Ice fang to hit more stuff super effectively, hydreigon and chesnaught for example (Of course I'll need some damage in chesnaught first.) Crobat @ Black Sludge Ability: Inner Focus EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Nasty Plot - Heat Wave - Air Slash - Sludge Bomb/Defog NP Crobat ftw, really, this thing can catch your opponents of guard and get some kills, your opponent switch to something that can take a brave bird/acrobatics when you set up a NP, then proceed to kill stuff, at least one thing will go down if your opponent doesn't have a counter. About the defog, I'm currently running sludge bomb, but defog can be an option if I give knock off to gligar. Aside from the main stabs, heat wave can help against mons you can't touch like mega aggron (at +2 heat wave 2HKO mega aggron if it's not running max spdef max HP) Rhyperior @ Leftovers Ability: Solid Rock EVs: 248 HP / 76 Def / 184 SpD Impish Nature - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Roar - Stealth Rock Tank rhyperior, stealth rock support is really important for this team since it helps sharpedo a lot to deal with sturdy and focus sash users, just because mega-sharpedo can't take many hits, so having stealth rock support to wear down my opponents team is always good. Roar is to deal with things that will try to set up on me. And that's it, my first team is working for me, but I know it can be better, some suggestions will be REALLY nice. Import
  12. Do a pickup team for rare candies and level up the smeargle (It's going to take ages, I know, but it's the best way to level up smeargle.) For things with pickup there are a billion normal types. P.S. If you really want to know, there's another shiny stone avaliable, just search in the item hunting topic in the "On the hunt" forum.
  13. That sitrus berry. Terra's garchomp assault vest, annoying lefties in boss battles, knock off is love, knock off is life. May I recommend farming coins for tm substitute for chatot? With chatter confusion hax you'll be in a great position to set up using sub. For the smeargle you can try to get super fang, dragon rage and spore, I think that's the only way smeargle can get some kills.
  14. I'm pretty sure the battle against Amaria will be in the water surface field
  15. Itemfinder, you have to talk to a guy in the nature center (Route 1) Good Rod is in a house in Spinel Town, it will appear soon. Mysida Cave: Windy night, then you will see an entrance somewhere in the Chrysolia forest. Key: Rock smash the semi-broken walls in the underground railnet, EVERY SINGLE BROKEN WALL (even in the aron room), you'll find some great stuff, trust me, some REALLY great stuff (even a dusk stone in the aron room, a ralts event key, two new TMs, and of course the key). P.S. Kecleon is rare, good luck finding a shiny.
  16. I think it's Ciel, I don't where, but I saw that her main pokemon is an Altaria, and let's be honest: non-mega altaria sucks, even with the field effect boost. So I think we'll be fighting a mega altaria when we're about to fight her since I think she's the next leader. (I know it's not a flying type, but... the normal leader had a fairy ace, so...)
  17. Kecleon, Cinccino, Furfrou, smeargle, sawsbuck, farfetch'd, tailow, chatot right? 11. P. S. The cinccino NEEDS skill link, if you can EV train it in attack and speed better. AND BREED KNOCK OFF ON IT VIA FARTETCH'D, it's going to be important against the giant worm.
  18. If you see the number of views in this topic after your new update, it increases like 60, so the answer is: People still here. Don't forget the sun stone in the bysxibiosion (I hate this name) grotto so you can evolve helioptile at level 49 (when it gets t-bolt)
  19. lol, that's how I defeated the garchomp , that's why I thought of it
  20. Here, breeding guide (then you can also learn how to breed)
  21. I would suggest HP rock/fire/ground instead of leech seed, and wring out instead of nature power. After 2 leaf storm boosts you will be doing insane damage to your opponents with wring out. Keep giga drain, if you are able to get a contrary boost, giga drain will be like a grass type draco meteor + Hp restoring. Do you care about natures? They're sometimes very important, timid or modest are the best natures to serperior. About the Hidden power: Rock can cover every grass type weakness if we remove poison, and ground/fire hiddenpower are for though steel types that you can't touch. Hariyama is a good fighting type, a REALLY good one, but there are better. - Toxicroak: Breeding in EP12 can give you bulk up and drain punch, and you can also get EARTHQUAKE if you want (you can't get all the three moves together, just bulk up and EQ, no drain punch, but you can get bulk up, EQ and cross chop) If you want some chains just look down in this comment. It also has a nice special set with nasty plot, sludge wave, vacuum wave (move tutor)/HP fighting, dark pulse/shadow ball. I honestly prefer the physical set. - Mienshao: EP12 can give you stone edge, poison jab, acrobatics, swords dance, knock off, and everything mienfoo can learn via TM via smeargle breeding, again, chains in the end of this. I used to run swords dance, poison jab, knock off and high jump kick with RECKLESS (Reckless HJK wrecking lifes and +2). But you know what's crazy? This thing also has a special set with calm mind/aura sphere/hidden power ice/grass knot!! The physical is way better anyways. - Conkeldurr: This thing is a knight without a sword without knock off and elemental punches, which is really unfortunately. BUT you can get drain punch + mach punch via breeding (no need to be EP12). Bulk up and stone edge are the best options for the last moves, really, Ame we need more tutors. Just make sure it has iron fist ability. - Scrafty: It can get whatever you want in EP12, again. Poison jab, rock slide, stone edge, bulk up, dragon dance, elemental punches, etc. But it needs moxie to be a sweeper, after 2 ddances you will be ready to sweep. I used to run HJK/Crunch/DDance/Ice punch, but you can use whatever you want. - Lucario: It's a lucario, do I need to say anything else? Chesnaught, gallade, breloom, etc. ORAS moveset changed and now this thing can get crunch to replace Ice fang, but keep in mind that this thing has enough bulk to use substitute instead of bounce, you really don't need an inaccurate move in a sweeper, but if you are able to get a sub, the gym leader will say gg and then use /forfeit, really. I remember that you posted a topic about thunder wave wigglypuff stopping your gyarados against Noel, substitute was the way to go (You can also get lefties if you go back to EP9 so you won't care about sub damage) Surf in a thing that uses the sun to sweep, really? First, volt switch is a waste of a moveslot, thunderbolt is more powerful, and voltswitch is only used in competitive so you can keep offensive momentum with the switch advantage, but all this stuff doesn't exist in-game (a trainer will hardly ever switch his pokemon in a battle). And razor wind is really bad, this thing doesn't have the bulk to use a 2-turn attack. HPIce/Dark Pulse/Grass Knot can replace everything aside from thunderbolt. Another thing that is not that great, it has intimidate, which can make it a physical tank, but it's not worth it, there are way better fairies. - Gardevoir: It can get will-o-wisp or thunderbolt in EP12 - Azumarill: I don't know if you are a competitive player, but you probably should know about the bellydrum/aqua jet/huge power azumarill, this thing is so scary that you can't give it a opportunity to set up, otherwise you'll get wrecked. REALLY wrecked. - Sylveon: Moonblast, shadow ball, HP ground, wish, protect (EP12), trump card (it's strong, really, SO strong at the last PP use), you can use it as a cleric or as an attacker. Energy ball is worth it, hidden power ground too, it will give you perfect coverage. And nasty plot is also really great since this thing doesn't have THAT high special attack. You don't need WoW, Extrasensory or confuse ray. Some chains: EQ, Bulk UP and cross chop to toxicroak: Smeargle -> Riolu -> Croagunk Bulk Up and drain punch to toxicroak: Timburr -> Mienfoo -> Croagunk Acrobatics, poison jab, knock off and swords dance to mienshao: Farfetch'd -> Mienfoo Lots of moves to Mienshao: Smeargle -> Mienfoo Drain Punch and Mach punch to conkeldurr: Hitmonchan -> Timburr + Mienfoo -> Timburr with mach punch Dragon Dance and Ice punch to scrafty: Altaria -> Scraggy + Hitmonchan -> Buneary -> Scraggy with dragon dance Lots of moves to scraggy: Smeargle -> Scraggy Thunderbolt to gardevoir: Stunfisk -> Ralts Will-O-Wisp to gardevoir: Shuppet -> Ralts Bellyjet azumarill: Poliwag -> Marill + Buizel -> Marill with belly drum Wish Protect sylveon: Smeargle -> Eevee Energy ball to ninetales: Deerling -> Vulpix Hope you find something useful.
  22. It depends, are you in the aqua gang or in the magma gang? Just talk to your gang leader then he'll tell where it is. The entrance is in a house in the lapis ward, the house is different for each gang.
  23. Heatproof bronz... Oh wait. Right, so, here's a strategy: Armald... Oh wait, you can't get armaldo at this point. Sorry, out of ideas. You could try to put death fodders in the field and if somehow you can get one shell smash with crustle you win spamming rock slide. The thing is: How?
