Icarus. Time: 1st of the Year of Rebirth. Right before noon.
Icarus slowly opened his eyes as the sun somehow managed to peak in through the close curtains in his room, beaming at the perfect angle in order to shine on his eyes. He grunted annoyingly at being woken up, getting up and adjusting his curtains so the sun was completely blocked out.
"So much for sleeping in today..." he mumbled to no one, his eyes quickly adjusted to the slight darkness that filled his room as his tail swayed slightly from side to side as if it too was trying to wake up. Stretching his arms he walked over and prepared his bath, cleaning himself quickly before getting dressed in his regular clothes. He put on his dark grey, light armor and the black cloak that he wears over it as well as putting on his padded black boots. Afterwards he straps his trusty silver chain and twin blades to his waist, hidden beneath his black cloak expertly, many people walk around the castle with their weapons on hand as there were a lot of beasts around here that could be easily provoked.
Finally being fully prepared he walked through the door and out of his room, as he walked out he saw a young servant girl hurriedly walking past. She was small and frail, her messy brown hair pulled up to keep it out of her face though single hairs still managed to poke up, her delicate hands filled with dirty rags that were probably heading to be cleaned. "What's the hurry Elizabeth, don't you want to greet me a good morning?" he teased, the servant girl looked back at Icarus, walking back in a hurry she stopped and stood in front of him.
"I'm very sorry Ic-Sir!" Elizabeth corrected herself as she bowed her head forward slightly in greeting, allowing him to see her furry, small brown feline ears. "I'm just heading to get these cleaned up, my mistress sent me out and wants me to return with haste in order to help her prepare herself for the day" She spit out in a hurry, she obviously did not want to upset her mistress. Most Beastmen servants were very timid as most had the traits of timid animals, Elizabeth here was fused with a cat as one could easily see by her strangely yellow eyes and slight whiskers sprouting from her cheeks.
"All right Elizabeth, go on and do as you were told, I don't need your mistress being angry at me for keeping you from your duties" Icarus joked, usually Elizabeth was one that he would stop when he spotted her and ask her to give him any information and gossip she might have heard. Icarus had earned her trust and she knew not to tell anyone what she told him, he learned from experience that servants could be some of the most useful informants one could have. Though while she was in the middle of working, he wouldn't keep her for long as he knew it wouldn't do much good to get her in trouble.
"Thank you Sir! I must go now, I hope you have a delightful morning!" Without another word she scurried off to complete her task, her furry tail swinging behind her as she went. Once she disappeared from sight, Icarus went the opposite direction in search of his morning meal.
