There's plenty of real bastards in this game, and... I love them. They're a thing that is really very rare in Pokemon games, and well-done characters that are evil but not shallow or cliche or ~edgy~ for the sake of it are rare in general. So, while I despise them in-game, I love them as characters. Now Victoria... I have to agree with what was said before. She is just useless. Constantly changes her mind on the basis of her flippant emotions, trying to stop me when I'm WORKING ON RESCUING OUR MUTUAL FRIENDS/THE CITY/THE WORLD HELLO VICKY WHAT??? If you respect your sensei so much why do you think you know better than her what she's capable of handling? Do the kidnapped kids likely being tortured EVERY MOMENT YOU DELAY ME not matter to you at all? I so wished I could slap her. How the hell did somebody so stupid end up as ~the best student~ at the Apophyll Academy? It's probably because her head is so devoid of thought meditation was a cakewalk. I just feel sorry for the folks stuck on that island with her. x'D //rant

The easiest way to get Blue Moon is with Pickup by far. Just get six Pickuppers and start grinding them, or five and one 'mon you'd wanna level up anyway. I got like three and I don't even need them lol.

The 'pedes look great now And thanks, I'll give it a shot later, when my tendonitis calms down a little. The grey lines on Zekrom are too light, making the black ones look unnatural. Make the gray a bit darker and they're perfect.

The circles on Whirlipede's back look kinda wrong, like the colors were reversed or something. I made 420 blaze it Munna: The oval on its forehead is where the ~magic dream smoke~ comes out of, so I tried to make it look like a burning tip of a phat one, you know, man. I don't know what to do with Musharna though. I tried coloring it in Rasta colors, but it looked ugly.

Pansage, Pansear, Panpour. I made their skin just a tiny bit lighter to make them more babby. Also, YES to the cameo.

Yay my monkeys are official. Reposting them here in case somebody has some critique. Golden monkey, aka that evil s*** from His Dark Materials (the books; the Golden Compass movie featured a golden marmoset for some reason.) Japanese macaque, aka the snow-covered monkey that swims in hot springs. Southern Plains Gray Langur, aka something nobody knows of.

Somebody has probably come up with this before, but I can't be bothered to google. Introducing: Taxonomic Monorun!! (If you have an idea for a more catchy name, I'm open to suggestions.) What is it? Well, simply, a monorun of Pokemon based on animals from the same taxonomic phylum/class/order/whatever. Even simplier: a primate monorun, a bird monorun, a canine monorun... The first from these examples would go: Chimchar, the three Pans, Mankey annnd... Meditite, perhaps? The second, Piplup, then a wiiide variety. It would be almost like a Flying monotype, but not quite. The third would have to go with Fennekin, and then could go with Vulpix, Eeveelutions, Growlithe, Furfrou, Snubbull, Lillipup, Zorua... maybe others. Probably not Poochyena though, as hyenas are not canines. There's many other possibilities: amphibian, feline, lizard, rodent, dinosaur, fish, ungulate... I think it sounds interesting, and definitely challenging... with possibly a lot of looking up a Pokemon's origins to see if you're allowed to have it. xD Maybe also an Object Monorun, where you get only 'mons based on items (i.e. not animals or plants), like Vanillite, Grimer, Rotom etc...

Well, when you're able to buy the pokemon, a PC is really like thirty steps away or so, so I don't think having to deposit something to get them would be that cumbersome. The Ditto - if you get it at the Factory - is different I guess, but it could be an exception. Maybe its trainer died since depositing it into the Day Care (there were quite a few opportunities for that) and as such its OT got cleared... dunno if it works that way, but maybe it could. Personally I released them all after buying them up, pretending they would go on to find their trainers around Reborn themselves.

Ssso, apparently according to Bulbapedia, Mienshao's fur sleeves are based on Chinese Opera costumes. How about recoloring it to match such a costume? Googling pictures brings all too many gorgeous ones. Maybe even one of those pretty masks? With that, my concern would be it ending up looking like a Luchador, but that may not be a bad thing.

Thank you again, I'm very glad you like them. Simisage's belly is black because it's an area that has no fur, and its skin is black. In the original sprite, it was yellow like its face. I could change it, but then the blue belly on Simisear doesn't make sense... it's a matter of compromise between the animal's look and the Pokemon's design, I guess.

Don't dump most of your team to replace it with most commonly used 'mons, that's silly. You can get a Ralts though: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6802 And I understand the need to save Heart Scales, but you should have more than 4 if you run around a bit with your itemfinder, or save and soft reset while mining. Boomburst is very worth it. It has 100% accuracy, 140 power and 10 PP, what more could you possibly want?

I should have taken a screenshot back in Pyrous Mountain, when while partnered up with Victoria, a pair of shiny Numel and shiny Slugma appeared. And she knocked them out both And, went on to knock out many more afterwards..... Anyway, here's the very first shiny I'd caught in Reborn: Never before, or after, have I caught a 'mon with IVs this awesome. I wasn't even looking for one, or planning to use one, I was just grinding. She became a staple of my team, pretty much my ace... even despite Noibat having the base stat total of a puny Togepi.

As much as I love Super Fang, getting a Heart Scale and teaching your Noivern Boomburst is a better option. Also, Shadow Ball instead of Bite (less for Noel, more just in general). Much the same coverage but a special move with much more power. I didn't know Blaziken learned so few fighting moves. Double Kick is its best option all the way until lv 57 and Sky Uppercut. Pity. Train up that Scraggy, it'll help you out a lot against Noel. Mine nearly solo'd him. This may actually be enough. And props for the Rock Smash + Metronome strategy, that's really clever.

I'll have a look for another species for Simisage then. Maybe something with a more interesting color palette. I tried out making the pink lighter pink on the snow monkey, but it wound up looking not exactly like a snow monkey. The colors are rather clashing on the animal itself if you ask me. Anyway, thank you! EDIT: Attempt #2 I made the Japanese macaque's fur a bit darker, to contrast better with Southern Plains Gray Langur. Whaddya think? It's still partly black, but I like it better for the white fur.

Great! A question though, why not the sun-tailed one? Is it because of the mostly black color scheme? I know I was iffy about it for that reason...

Now, I'm not a great fan of the elemental monkeys, but I AM a fan of monkeys. And I had this idea that making the former a bit more like the latter will make them a lot cooler. Sun-tailed monkey, aka a really cool critter nobody has heard of. Critique? If you like the idea, I'll happily make the backsprites, and the Pans. But, should the pre-evos match them, or maybe be different monkey species? There's no shortage of pretty ones to choose from. Some capuchins and marmosets would be ace.
