[Mod Project] Community Sourced Pokemon Tweaks

Release 4 is done! (I forgot to mention before, but I'm not implementing tms just yet (because there aren't that many available.), I am, however, writing them all down and will release them all in bulk in the future.) Download -

I think Mega Banette with tough claws might be somewhat over-the-top, with that stab Knock Off. Maybe a little less attack, or another ability altogether would be better. (not to mention that ghost/dark is only weak to fairy, i mean, look at Sableye.) In any case, Megas aren't even usable in reborn yet, so I'm not adding any just yet. Froslass: HP: 70 -> 70 Atk: 80 -> 50 Def: 70 -> 55 Sp. Atk: 80 -> 120 Sp. Def: 70 -> 60 Spd: 110 -> 125 Total: 480 -> 480 Moves: Wake-up slap L37 -> Aura Sphere L37 Captivate L41 -> Ice Beam L41 By reallocating some stat points, Froslass is brought to the same speed tier as weavile, and is now also equal to it in terms of offense, which allows it to function as a more efficient lead/sweeper, while also losing some bulk, because, who are we kidding, Ice/Ghost isn't going to tank anything anytime soon. Release 4 is almost done! Just one or two more submissions and it'll be done! -

I like the psychic one more, but we already have some of those, so I'll go with the normal/fighting one. I edited the doc with Release 3, (Release 2 went up silently last night.) and released it. Here's a link. -

So I changed my mind about the first release, I'm releasing it now for testing. Here it is. To install it, just drop the "Data" folder (it's inside that file) into your Reborn folder. This patch is intended for Episode 15.1, other episodes might not work correctly if at all. I'm also going to update the op with this info. -

Alright, I've updated the doc! I added some short comments on some sets, and some things to be reconsidered! I'll add some of my own: Luvdisc: HP: 43 -> 73 Atk: 30 -> 30 Def: 55 -> 55 Sp. Atk: 40 -> 115 Sp. Def: 65 -> 65 Spd. 97 -> 104 Total: 330 -> 442 Type: Water -> Water/Fairy Ability: No change. TM Compatibility: +Psychic, +Shadow Ball Moves: Captivate L46 -> Moonblast L46 Flail L27 -> Dazzling Gleam L27 Take Down L37 -> Scald L37 So, I know Luvdisc is supposed to be a fast support, but that really don't seem to work for it, so instead I just went and gave it a major overhaul into a fast special sweeper. The aditional fairy typing fits with it's flavour, and I went ahead and gave it some fairy moves to go with it. Psychic and Shadow Ball via tm give it some extra coverage. And finally, 104 base speed puts it just bellow the 105 speed tier. Chimecho: HP: 65 -> 75 Atk: 50 -> 40 Def: 70 -> 120 Sp. Atk: 95 -> 95 Sp. Def: 80 -> 80 Spd. 65 -> 65 Total: 425 -> 475 Type: Psychic -> No Change Ability: No change. Moves: Synchronoise L52 -> Recover L52 Double Edge L47 -> Wish L47 Take Down L19 -> Hypnosis L19 Psywave L16 -> Light Screen L16 I feel like Chimecho.. Really isn't a very interesting Pokemon as it is, so I've given it a very nice physical bulk, so that it can function as a bulky support. I've given it Wish, Hypnosis and Light Screen via level up as well to further this. And, in the case someone wants to run it as a stall kind of mon, it now has access to Recover as well. It retains it's pretty nice 95 Sp. Atk, so it can also be decent at bulky offense So having two extra pokemon brings us to about 20 pokemon to consider, so I can start preparing the first release. However, I'll wait until tomorrow to actually release them, so that changes can be proposed to the pokemon already in this list, in order to balance them a little more, or discard them altogether (There's like 22 pokemon in the list iirc, and only 20 are going into the release.). Feel free to submit new ones, but they probably won't be released until version 2. -

Thanks for your contributions, guys! I added a google doc which I'm updating with the suggestions thus far. I honestly don't think Azumarill counts, since it already has Huge Power which is pretty damn nice, but I'll leave it up to you guys. Inadequate Moveset: see Flareon. BST/Learnset: Only one needs to be there, but honestly, the mon just has to be terrible. -
Hello there! I am currently working on a mod for reborn, namely, tweaks to certain Pokemon to make them a little more.. Interesting. They would be changes to the learnset, typing and stats, with the main purpose of making weak or useless pokemon more fun to use. This doesn't mean "Make every pokemon OU", but rather "Make pokemon like Butterfree a little more worth capturing and raising." And where do I come in? You might be wondering, well, the answer is simple. You just post in this thread with suggested changes to a mon, and an explanation of why you they are appropiate. I will handpick suggestions in case there are more than one per mon, or might submit it to a vote if both are equally valid. Not all pokemon are valid to submit! A pokemon must fulfill certain requeriments to be up for tweaking, it must have less than 500 BST, a learnset very inadequate for it's stat distribution, or a terrible typing. I will start releasing this mod as soon as we reach a sufficient number of changes (say.. 20 of them). Updates will be frequent, and new changes will be introduced in batches of ~10, you can expect at the very least a new version with every version of Reborn. There are also some further guidelines on which changes are acceptable and which aren't (These are not quite rules, but they shouldn't be ignored either, if you break one of these guidelines, you will have to provide a reason, and even then your submission might be rejected.): The BST after changes may not go over 520. You may not add more than two moves to the learnset of the pokemon. (You may, however, swap out moves from the learnset, and add different ones as much as you like. This is specially reccomended when changing the typing of something.) You may only change the pokemon's Hidden Ability. If a pokemon is a dual type, you may only change one of it's types. Nevermind. Very powerful (example: pixiliate) and signature abilities may not be used. If you put your submission in the following format, it'll help me out tons. Here is a google document containing all the additions thus far. Release 4 for Reborn E15 is ready for testing! It contains most of the edits listed under "First Release" ,"Release 2", "Release 3" and "Release 4" in the google doc. Download Please post any bugs or balance problems you find in this thread, or pm them to me. How to install: Thank you for reading!

All of these are available to trade (Except a select few, just ask), almost all of them are ev trained and most have decent IVs (over 26 in the stats that matter) Sableye, Chandelure, Froslass, Flygon, Rotom, Glaceon, Ampharos, Meowstic, Absol, Scrafty and Machamp are shinies. They're around lv 70 (but I have plenty of common candies) Nevermind, sorry, I decided I'm keeping these. I can breed them though, so if you want any of these in their non evolved forms with decent IVs, and maybe some egg moves, hit me up.

Aww that's ridiculously cute :> thank you & happy valentines to you as well!
-
Imo if you really want to get rid of stuff, I say Rapidash, Crawdaunt and Exploud, but I personally train 28 pokémon, (and that number will very likely increase as more stuff is released), and it's really fun!
-
Well thanks guys! i'm too lazy to reply to everything

Nice to meet you too. Indeed 17, is the best age. Albeit I'm glad for not being the laziest, it's also kind of sad because it means I'm not even the laziest. Thanks, I'll try to enjoy my stay as much as possible. Hello and thank you!

I've already been lurking a bit. Thanks for the welcome! Also you should, it's really fun, both in the games and competitively, just don't pick grass or ice for your first time and you'll do fine.
