Weather Based Events Thread (Please check the note about E15)
Helia replied to Qaaz's question in On the Hunt
Why don't you have the Nuzleaf event added in it tho? It has to be Windy, secret cove available through Beryl Tunnel. I believe I was there at night, but could also be day I think. The Spoink Hide and Seek starts on Clear days I believe. -
I believe not, it will be available after you fight Samson in the Circus, since you then get access to Ametrine Mountain. Although perhaps there's a small chance you can find one in the cave north west of Route 1 (have to clear like 2 webs and a log before you can reach it) But after 7th Street you first have to fight Luna and you can catch a few new ones in Iolia Valley, so...

Found it, thanks, Now proud owner of a Kirlia. What is the best level to evolve it to Gallade tho? Already have the dawn Shiny(-.-) stone, and I don't have any use for it for other pokemon. Would Synchronoise be a good move to breed onto it? I could see it happening to use it against Samson. a base 120 STAB Psychic attack, even tho it's special, could 1hko most fighting types amirite? Darn it I thought I had a dawn stone already. Why do I have 2 shiny stones?

Tropius was moved. It is now through the Beryl Cemetery Tunnel (need Rocksmash), three quite easy floors will lead you to a hidden area of the Jungle where you can find Tropius on Sunny days and Nuzleaf on Windy Days. He's not IN the railnet, like someone said. Once you have access to the railnet you can find a Corrupted Pokeball and somewhere else Magnet Powder. Bring those together to a guy in a white robe in the specialty Pokeball shop in Obsidia and he could open it for you and get a Ralts. I don't know where the Magnet Powder is at the moment tho, checked the railnet multiple times but haven't found anything yet. Oh wow didn't realize how old these questions were. Well, if they were still looking here it is haha

Don't have either yet

You're really going to level up Oddish to level 43 to get Moonblast? Wow, commitment.
-
I heard of Chespin, need some item from the Aventurine woods and bring it to some woman?? I didn't know Cyndaquil tho? How?
-
I have to say Swampert. It has Damp and a brave nature with Hammer Arm, Earthquake, Muddy Water(will be replaced with surf later on) and Rockslide. Pretty good coverage except against of course, grass types. All natural moves, eating up pretty much every attack. It really is the star of my party. Although you can get a Mudkip later in the game after the 7th gym, Tepig is available after the 5th Chikorita is available right before the 5th And Piplup after the 8th.

Mamo is litterally my second fastest. It only gets outsped by Galva. it's level 58 with a whopping speed of 121, Galva outspeeds by 1 at the moment and 7 levels behind.

So, I just made my Metagross Jolly, as next to Adamant Jolly was suggested here and the shrink made it Jolly after about an hour and I had had it by then. I'll work on the others.
-
Well my expectations are certainly shattered thanks to the training. Currently we're working out some issues with our trainer-Pokemon bond at the Shrink down in 7th. While we're there we'll also try to fix why Galvantula is so Docile and why Houndoom is so Quiet. (Brave Swampert, Adamant Mamoswine and Timid Dragalge is OK tho right?)

Reborn doesn't really have a competitive side right? I read that the future gym leaders will have perfectly IV and EV trained Pokemon but still, then it could also easily sweep a Ground/Dragon or Flying/Dragon team with icebeam. Shame there's no tm for it in game On another Note, I haven't used Dragalge much but it seems like it can take a few hits. Only used it against Noel's Wigglytuff and Clafable but it ate those Moonblasts up like a champ. Also hits from the Bouffelant and Tauros are mosquito bites to it. I had my doubts when first using it in Tanzan Mountain Meteor Hideout but I quite like it. Shame it's so slow....
-
In my Emerald play I swept through Drake from the elite 4 with ease just using Altaria + Ice beam, though underleveled by like 7 levels it easily outsped his Flygon, Altaria and Salamence.

So, recently I cought myself a Beldum, and currently it stands as a level 38 Metang, while I'm training it and it's recently caught brothers Galvantula and Houndoom in the Vanhanen Labyrinth. I always heard so much good about the Metagross family but I must say, using it, I'm quite disappointed. - Relaxed nature (+Def -Speed) - Clear Body - Bullet Punch - Psychic - Zen Headbutt - Pursuit With Steel no longer resisting Dark and Ghost, and the obvi Fire and Ground weakness, is it really still that good as of gen 6? I'm thinking of changing it's Nature through that dude in 7th street asap, but as of now, it doesn't seem very useful. Also with the upcoming Gym leaders having Dark, Fire, and Ground, I'm just not sure of it's Usefulness compared to other types. Any advice would be very appreciated because I feel like I'm wasting my time training this guy.

Wait what? That's dumb. Edit: I do remember Ame saying somewhere she'd be cray to let players get a drought Vulpix and a fire stone so early in the game, so it does make sense somewhere. However, getting two pokemon that evolve by fire stone so early there's a tough decision to be made which could complicate the game later on, amiriteguys?

If you just beat Corey (read that in your intro post) You're headed towards the Lapis ward next. on the way there, in North Obsidia Ward you can find an alley to the right of Grand stairway. There is team Magma who will have a mission for you where you will receive a Buizel a fire WATER Stone. Also Houndour becomes available quite soon after that. If you join Team Aqua in the Lapis Ward alley you will soon find a Ponyta and a water stone, though. EDIT: No fire stones yet unfortunately. As I joined Aqua mutiple times, I received a Ponyta and a water stone, so that part is correct. But I may have or may not have assumed joining the opposite team would land you the opposite evolution stone.
-
If you join team Magma in North Obsidia (around the Bug Gym) You can get a Buizel and a Fire stone I believe. I think you just beat Corey if you just received Growlithe?
-
Screw pretty much all dragons except Altaria. Oh fond memories of sweeping Drake with a max'd carbos Altaria, Ice Beam and NevermeltIce
-
I believe Barboach with the old rod at first, which is nice, but the leader has to step out of the way first, so he has to be at the Magma gang part or completely gone after the defeat. On topic: I honest to god played through it like 3 times and I didn't know I could join Magma. I believe I went in their alley before I went to Aqua once but I think both dudes at the door sent me away while Aqua just fought me and welcomed me as their new brute. In hindsight wouldn't have made much difference between Pyroar and Houndoom in the long run tho. Pretty much same weaknesses except their immunities.

You can get 5 Nuzleaf from an event in Beryl Ward. They're all at level 25 and have the moves Razor Leaf, Torment, Razor Wind and Feint Attack. Cacnea is a gift in an egg from a girl in Onyx Ward(same building as the rooftop garden) after you saved the daycare couple. If only Luxray was.... He looks like one anyway.

That's one way to do it of course! I wanted to have earthquake before I went to Pyrous mountain tho so I used the swinub to 37 method. If that's your team in your signature tho, I wonder how you fare against Hardy, since they all have Rock weaknesses.
