  1. There's another exit from the cave near the beginning that leads to a small clearing, head over there.
  2. I think the cave field effect allows Ground moves to hit Flying Pokemon.
  3. Was it in a cave? Sounds like the Melia fight.

    Version 5-5

I think it's meant to be a glass floor with poisonous water underneath.
  5. I think you need access to the PBS files to do that, since you need to be able to edit the save files, and I don't think Jan has posted them publicly like Ame. So I think Jan is the only one who could do it, and I don't recommend him spending time on that.
  6. I'm going to have to swallow my pride and ask for the Odd Key location too. I've been searching for far too long, with no success. Can someone PM it to me please?
  7. I agree, Wing Attack should be replaced with Air Slash for Crawli and Shadow Ball after that.
  8. It's a shame Protect doesn't work properly in Rejuvenation (it suffers from the same bug that afflicted it in Reborn, namely that the counter doesn't reset when you use a different move). I tried using a Wormadam with Protect against the Slaking, but it only had limited success.
  9. I would rank Cofagrigus as A. Having trouble with those overlevelled Dimensional Rift Pokemon? Cofagrigus has your back. Take a hit, lay down a Curse, and just wait for the inevitable. Does a gym leader have a tank that you just can't take down? Hit it up with a Curse. Throw in a Will-o-Wisp on any physical threat. And when it finally learns it, Destiny Bond is always a great move to rely on. Meowstic is also an A, just as a great all-round support 'mon. If you want to make the most of it, you won't be dealing out much damage, but Prankster Reflect and Light Screen with Light Clay will make a lot of fights much easier. Priority Misty Terrain really helps in gym battles too, levelling the playing field from the beginning. Pyroar is really great too, although I'd probably rank it as B. Very high Speed and Special Attack, early Flamethrower, and the underrated Endeavor. Being such a fast Pokemon, it's easy to turn a battle around by using Endeavor when on low HP and then revenge killing with a priority move.
  10. I can't remember this part of the story that well, but can't you just let him beat you and send you back to a Poke Center? Unless you're doing a Nuzlocke?
  11. To be more specific, it's in the lab in the Sheridan Badlands, just before the 6th gym. It's hard to miss it, and it isn't sold to you, it's just lying on the ground.
  12. Sheridan is where the second gym is, so you'll meet him pretty soon.
  13. There's a search bar on the left to help with that. Honestly it's not that bad. I think I only bought 3 train tickets in total. There's a guy who gives you free rides to and from Gearen in his truck, you first meet him in Sheridan I think. He appears in most towns.
  14. There are the 6 listed here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=12550&page=127#entry314364 And also there is another hidden in the Lost Camp when you've upgraded it twice.
  15. It's between the 4th and 5th gyms. It's impossible to miss it, you get it as part of the main storyline. I think it's for the door inside the Help Center in Kakori.
  16. It's impossible to find one in the wild. Pokemon with 3 Abilities can't be caught with their Hidden Ability. You'll have to use an Ability Capsule.
  17. Despite that mistake, Torchic is still one of the best choices, along with Chimchar. Bulk Up + Speed Boost can be very useful. And Hoppip is available in the current version too, but not until Terajuma I think.
  18. Oh Christ, I hope that was just because of the Gearen update. I don't know what I'd do without the other two breeders.

    Version 5-5

Time to start a new save file, I guess. There's no way I can pass up this challenge. Maybe this time I should actually bother EV training and resetting for good Natures, it sounds like it'll pretty much be a necessity...
  20. You get it as part of the main storyline, between the 4th and 5th gyms I think. For grinding, there are 3 breeders in the game that you can battle as much as you want. One is in Gearen, one is on Route 2 near the entrance to Amethyst Cave, and the last one is on the boat at Terajuma Shore. EDIT: Beaten to it, but I hope my answer is still helpful.
  21. You could purify that Froakie now if you want at Dr. Jenkel's place. I'm enjoying following this, it's a good read
  22. The Move Relearner isn't available until the end of the current version, so I'd advise sticking with Espurr.
