  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't EVs still represented graphically than numerically? This hardly testifies to the desired transparency I was speaking of before.
  2. A good list of before and after shinies in the original games: http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/shiny Some of them are so much better it's not even funny. The Ekans, Delphox, and Noivern lines in particular stand out thanks to a recent playthrough. One thing I would like to opine though is that there is a bit too much black and X or gray and X. Shiny Pokemon in Reborn look really washed out and frankly "unfun" versus their colorful originals. Often, I tend to stick to the classics.
  3. Sapphire, just want to tweak that statement a little bit as it's not so much a "not caring" thing as it is an entire lack of transparency within the architecture of the actual games themselves. Unlike Reborn, you cannot look up your EVs or IVs without some pretty complex mathematical algorithms. It's entirely feasible that longtime players of the games could have an incomplete idea of what many of these berries do. Especially if Pokemon were to make viewing IVs and EVs transparent as they are here, provide some kind of indication as to what type of EV each Pokemon provides, and provide a concrete explanation of how amassing those values allow you to increase damage output, etc., I expect many "casual" gamers would care. After all, even casual gamers could be miffed when their supereffective flamethrower isn't OHKO-ing Clefkeys in the elite four (using X/Y as an example) thanks to poor EV distribution. One of the many things Pokemon: The Main Series needs to address.
  4. Another tiny typo report! When Venam's mother hands you the TM, there's a lower case I that should be capitalized. =3
  5. Enjoying the game. First time through it. 1) Just wanted to point out in the description of the Zorua altar in the first room you get to in the game, it should read A-L-T-A-R and not A-L-T-E-R. 2) In the intro shortly after the...uh... trauma, "would ask if you'll..." sentence. Missing an L on the you'll. Oof, found more. Let me know if you need help with grammar and proofreading.
  6. @ Jan -- Yeah, shock of my life. A level four Patrat... used protect twice on it and then straight into Rayquaza. I keep starting new games rather than finishing 'em and so don't have anything that can take him out. But curious as to whether anything might be initiated from there. EDIT: Thanks! Appreciate the verification.
  7. Just out of curiosity, does anything happen if you beat the guy with the new Rayquaza just outside the grand hall in Reborn City?
