    I found a potential bug on the forum. When I get a new PM, the notification ("X has replied to a personal conversation") is already marked as read, regardless of the actuality.

    I didn't really see this as any cause for doubt about it being Gen 7. In this day and age, would it not make sense for Game Freak to implement a storage/transfer system that had the technological durability to survive multiple generations?

      The processor likes to crap out on large page loads.

    I'd like the games to really expand on the individuality of Pokemon's physical attributes. It would be insane to implement, and definitely isn't coming in a 3DS title, but I'm thinking about each individual Pokemon being able to have specific colours (really just different variants of the same hue so that shinies are still special), different heights and weights that are reflected in the 3D models, a random selection from an assortment of eye colours, tail shapes, spike sizes, pattern arrangement, whatever. Even variations in the pitch and tone of the cry! So that, regardless of EVs or IVs or natures or the like, you could have a Pokemon that was truly individual and special to you. I don't think it's realistic in the slightest to expect this to happen, but I can have my fantasies.

    I was watching a 'top 10 hopes for Sun and Moon' video and one of the things was to change every Pokémon's cry to its anime one. I just thought... ew.

    Nostalgia from my early years (even though that only extends back to Gen 3) has helped, of course. I think one reason I still play it is because I took a break after Heartgold (I hadn't touched Gen 5 until I got White 2 free with my 3DS, and I haven't played XY either), because I fear that I may have been bled dry of my enthusiasm by now had I continued playing year by year. However, a five year break before returning to ORAS means it's somewhat fresh again. Another reason is Reborn. It opened my eyes to the magic of an actually challenging Pokémon game, and managed to set me on a reimmersion of my love for the franchise. Maybe by the time Gen 8 comes around, I'll have lost interest again. Maybe not. I'll just have to wait it out.
