  1. Has there been any mention of us getting access to Agate City in the near future? That's where his gym is located.
  2. Contrary Snivy for the long game. Either that or Iron Fist Chimchar. Charmander's access to Dragon Rage early game, while nice, doesn't have the viability other starters have late in the game.
  3. You have a chance to breed an egg every 250 steps. If they're not getting along, you've got less of a chance of breeding the egg. Just keep at it!
  4. Episode 14.6 allows you to see the event, but only if you answered questions accurately in Ametrine City.
  5. I noticed that as well. A very cool cameo that could easily be overlooked, but was glad to see her nonetheless. Seems like she could have possibly been rallied by Adrienn to begin repirations to Reborn City. A very interesting episode, if not short. It's to be expected honestly. I think starting to see repirations done to the city in the form of cleansing the water was a nice touch. How about them characters reappearing though? Julia, Florinia, Shade, Ameria, Solaris, Victoria... damn. A very satisfying episode. Though it'll be a while before the next episode, I'm positive it'll be worth the wait. Anyone have any further details on the split story when you team up with Julia for the double battles? And Fern staying with Meteor? My scrub self couldn't beat Solaris the first time around.
  6. All aboard the hype train! Choo. Choo. Fallout 4 and XV on the same day. Rad.
  7. Hey there, I've been trying to complete the Fennekin sidequest, but don't seem to be able to unfortunately. I'm not entirely sure what's involved with the quest line though... I ran into it once in Sheridan Village. I thought it was at the lake next near the Kingdra statue, but the little guy doesn't seem to be there. Are there any tangible guides on how to acquire it?
  8. Yeah, no. I've just finished seven different articles using this, from the French Revolution to Nicolas Cage. Each of them not only used Wikipedia, the program plagarized the entry verbatim. This is an awful program.
  9. Gregori Rasputin? Controversial figure during the Imperial Russia age before the Bolshevik Revolution? Sick cheese, by the way.
  10. One of the best soundtracks I've heard in a long time. From the same guy that gave you The Binding of Isaac, I give you the OST to Super Meat Boy! A great blend of rock and dance music. (Makes for great study music, too.)
  11. The Master Ball hasn't been a game-breaking mechanic in any generation. I find it very likely we'll see it's introduction into the game at some point. I mean, why not?
  12. Not without manipulating the game, no.
  13. That's really unfortunate. Hopefully next time you'll give yourself additional time to complete your essay, which from the sound of it, was worth at least 15% of your grade. Procrastination is the bane of success in school. Not to sound like an ass, but seriously, college isn't high school. You can't hand in half-assed work and expect it to be graded fairly. You'll get what you gave. You're better than B-/C+ work, right? You have what it takes to succeed in school? Then start by giving procrastination the finger and giving a shit. Your future self will thank you for your tenacity.
  14. I suppose I'd like to see the statistics of the folks that use Gengar on their team. I used it on my playthrough as well, and I was less than impressed. He's quick, yes, but his lack of Poison-type moves (without access to older episodes) is, literally, non-existent. I've rebuilt my team with a Trick Room Chandelure, and it's proven to be much more valuable than Gengar was. I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud. Sableye, Mismagius, Chandelure, and Dusclops/Dusknoir are are very viable options that stand with Gengar in-game.
  15. Back in my day, we used Feint Attack! And Shock Wave! In thirty feet of snow! And we LIKED it! But seriously, there really isn't much of an alternative strategy. At that point in the game, there are few Pokemon that can take advantage of the field effects. I don't mind the Snow Cloak hacks, but this seems a bit much. Bring a quake and be done with it.
  16. That's where I disagree. I can agree his Speed and Special Attack are fantastic, but his movepool stinks. He doesnt learn any Poison moves naturally, Shadow Ball's learned at 33, and Poison/Ghost gives it weaknesses to Dark/Psychic/Ghost types, all of which are fairly popular. He by no means is a weak Pokemon; far from it. I just don't see how it's removal is warranted for balance issues. I don't want to believe it was removed because of the upcoming Arceus fight with El, as Curse can play a crucial role in the fight. The Holy field being added seems to support that theory, considering all "curses are lifted" after one turn. The Litwick line has access to much a more lethal movepool which compliments it's Ghost/Fire typing magnificently. Does using older episodes to breed Energy Ball onto it warrant the removal of it as well? What about Durant so it can learn Hone Claws? Where does the line get drawn?
  17. It's possible. I'd recommend EV training only if you're willing to construct another team once you've reached what the story can offer. If you're asking to EV train your "main" team, with HM moves peppered into the moveset, I'd say save your time and just play the game.
  18. Is there an explanation for why some Pokemon are being cut from the game? Or being made otherwise unavailable? I can understand Gyarados at the start of the game, it being a top-tier Pokemon with a great moveset and all. But Gengar? Why? I hardly find it threatening enough to be removed from the game considering how late he's obtained. It's currently on my in-game team, and even then he'd be the first to go. Heck, I'd even understand if Drillbur was removed and Gastly made an event Pokemon. Could be just me, I don't think it makes much sense.
  19. Access to Earthquake, or moves of it's kind, seems almost necessary for this. The field isn't designed to give advantages or disadvantages to the player, it's designed to give Serra the edge almost completely. Her entire team will benefit from a field like this, whereas the player will have one, maybe two Pokemon that do. Take the seven years bad luck and smash it to hell.
  20. When's your essay due for submission?
  21. Does Serra's battle revert to a double battle? Or will it remain a singles battle? If it's the former, I don't think this is going to be as bad as everyone's making it out to be.
  22. Yeah, seconded. I'm going to redact my post and add them accordingly when they come up in discussion. Should there be some sort of process to determine where some starters fall as far as class goes? Not to say I disagree with some of the choices that have been made thus far, but I'd imagine there will be some disagreements on where certain Pokemon land on the S-F scale.
