  1. I'd prefer the Swampert. It doesn't have two double weaknesses that mostly go against an abysmal SpD stat. Also, since you can get Rhyhorn at a high level already, just keep it a Rhydon and wait to see if we get an Eviolite in E15.
  2. There's no need for full EV training. I do some additive to give an extra bit of power, speed or balanced defenses, but certainly not the 252/252/4 thing. As of the leaders, be a tactician and you'll win. And don't believe the hype, they're beatable. Charlotte was a great spook story though.

    Cain

I love Cain. He's cool, he's awesome, he's likable and he's a regular Disney princess. Perfect compliment for the mum, dull, stoic demeanored PC. He also has some GREAT lines. Especially towards Aya. "Use protection", or the part in Route 3 where Hardy goes ahead, Cain chats with Aya and promises he'll be gentle with Hardy. Pure gold. The 2 things where Cain the Character fails are: he's singing too much, and we can hear it. Kinda kills the concept. And, he's very likable, Fernán is very unlikable but at the same time just a pathetic loser, and Victoria just can't get anything done. We don't have a really great rival to rival us, someone that combines unlikability, swagger, and power. No Blue or Silver for us. And Victoria has disappeared for years, Cain has admited that we've overcome him quite some time ago, and Fernán is same ol' pathetic Fernán. Use protection.
  4. Anything steel works. Magneton, Mawille, Excadrill, take your pick. As of Swellow, you just have to OHKO it before the flame orb kicks in, and that's easy, one Supereffective move and it's out. If you wanna be a little more pro, catch an Arbok in the Tanzan Depths, make sure it has Gastro Acid, put Sludge Wave on it and go at Clefabe. Use these two moves to corrupt the field and remove its ability, and then just kill it. It hates Defense or SpD lowering moves.
  5. Ok, I managed without cornering it. Oh boy. I thought these things appeared when I went for some Buffalant-killing spree while riding a Tauros already and refusing the ones that offered a ride.
  6. Hey! I've tried talking to these jerks, but I just couldn't. cause they ran around like maniacs! What's the trick?

    Dusk?

No, the Dusk stones can't be mined. There are 2 in the game, one in the Depths of the Railnet (accessible after you beat Aya and go through Yureuy, to find it you have to solve the rain puzzle towards the locked door to the left) and one in Iolia valley, after Radomous and saving Luna.
  8. Great idea and great job! You missed some little things like Pumpkaboo between Corey and Shelly, Lunatone being an either/or with Solrock, and then Carvanha, Barboach and Houndour are available after Shelly. Will look if there's more. Ghost actually gets 7 'till Aya (Shuppet, Yamask, Pumpkaboo, Duskull, Spiritomb, Misdreavus and Shedinja),Ice is the one that gets only 4 (Vanillite, Smoochum, Swinub, Cubchoo)
  9. Two evo stones in the same rock. In the BST capped run where they're useless. Grrr.

  10. Hi! Don't worry, it's propably a symptom of the old map being replaced with a newer version to reduce lag etc. Open the file in the episode you last saved, go to a safe place (a PokeCenter would be the best), save there and then open it with the new version. That should do the trick.
  11. You got them all. There are two more to find past Agate for a total of 9. You'll have to beat E14 to get them all and return to the city, but you won't be able to access the floors unless you go back to E13
  12. What we know until now... The Water Treatment Center and the Sewers, where we're currently headed. The cut-off cities of Agate (zzz) and Labradorra (Team Meteor dammit, not trademark). Also, the Agate Circus Ferris Wheel Route 4, upper part. It starts at the eastern side of the accesible part of the Route, but needs Rock Climb. Charous Mountain The Tourmaline Desert, seen from the Beryl Bridge, accesed from the Peridot Ward. The Locked Room at the Left in the Subseven Sanctum And any place that waterfall in Iolia may lead to.
  13. OK, all you better DUCK, 'cause I'm about to turn LEFT and I don't wanna SMACK you with my STICK Focus Sash or Citrus Berry (depending if it can actually KO you in one hit) and Mirror Coat. Bye Arceus!
  14. Yeah, it's a great thread that sells itself short with that title. Have my blessing and go forth with your Little Ice Hat, my child.
  15. It's a nice and dandy 4% chance 'cause Ame hates us. Also, there's this thread here with all the info about wild Pokemon: locations, encounter percentages and EVs they give. Have fun finding that little triangle!
  16. There are two of each kind. Shiny stones are on Azurine Island (after Kiki) and in Citae Arc d' Astrae, in the place with the grass. Dusk Stones in the Depths of the Railnet (after Aya and the Yureuy tower, you got to solve the train rails puzzle to open the door at the left) and in Iolia valley (after Radomous and the Subseven Sanctum).
  17. Damn, I went to do this but I somehow bombed it, and don't have enough rupees to do it right. Someone kill me. On another note, it's so awesome, both a doodle and concept.
  18. Ok, I've only played them all at E14, so I don't know about pre-field difficulty. Aya is quite easy. Underleveled, double battle and starts with a total non-threat in Nidoqueen. You can just double-attack the other ones. And once Gengar is gone, she's done. And last time I respected Charlotte too much, I grinded with Aya to have a team at 63-65 and ended up crushing her. I used one hyper potion and lost 3 pokes, one Flygon that took a critical Eruption AND Darumaka's first attack, one Arcanine without Flash Fire (had forgotten to use the capsule) that I killed with an EQ, and another Flygon (I have 2) that went down when she was down to one 'mon. Charlotte is just a spook story. EQ and Rock Slide spam rek her. I'd say the toughest is Noel, who was harder on my second playthrough than the first. Also props to Kiki (hits effin hard, you have to KO her before she hits, that Medicham is the best momentum-changer ever), Serra (kinda odd team, but not bad at all) and Shade (the toughest, well, most damaging, one in my sub-480 run, where I've fought everyone before Bennett and Serra). Samson also hits like a maniac, but he can lose to very underleveled teams if played correctly.
  19. You need to collect the stickers to gain access to the upper floors, and Florinia said to you to come fight her in her gym when she left the park.
  20. Naturally. That's the Standard. And you'll have to beat it to set a new standard. Good luck with that!
  21. Solaris and his Garchomp are child's play. The real badass is Meteor Knight Kenan with TWO pokes with EQ, in a cave.

    1. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Wait... a henchmen/Underling actually took into account his surrodning and made a battle plan? Welp the world is over boys... it was nice knwoing ya.

You ain't getting exp off of me, player! I'll kamikaze 4 out of the 6 pokes of the double battle!

  22. 8 of 10, I don't know who that crazy girl is, but it looks great.
  23. Viva la Magic Guard. Status moves are uncommon, but a lot of fields do entry damage each turn. Coreys two fields have such effects (the one does entry damage each turn, the other poisons everyone each turn), the Burning Field does that, the new Murkwater does that, the Underwater field does that to types weak to Water, the Rocky field has some (missing physical attacks and flinching does percentage damage) and the Wasteland makes Spikes, TSpikes and Stealth Rocks a literal pain. Also, Unaware (also Simple and Klutz) Pokemon get double damage from some attacks in the field of the Psychic leader.

I use it just for extremespeeding ponytas and fletchis, which give me a lot of trouble. It can take some hits nicely with eviolite

Good advice is always welcome. I didn't know Ziggy got Belly Drum, and I found out about its exspd in a previous fight. Does Gluttony apply to the Berry Juice or not?
