  1. Ok, it's a stupid question, I know. Where can I find the Miracle Seed? It must be somewhere after the Blackstream Factory and before Aya, judging from its place in my bag in another playthrough.
  2. Does the Mountain field mean that Blakes team may get updated? His Walrein gonna hate that Thunder.
  3. Ok, what about the 2, later 4 bozos in the SE corner of the Grand Hall?

Nothing, they don't ever do anything. I mean, you can talk to them, but that's it, at least for now.

Ok, I was getting paranoid and thought I was missing something. Thanks!

  4. I really want to see the leaders in Reborn getting a tad more difficult.

    1. Shing

eh bit agree, but people would complain and say nerf it, too overpowered.

The only leader i want to get boosted is Julia.

I wish it was easy to implement difficulty modes midway. And I was thinking more about the likes of Aya, who is kinda underleveled, or Luna, who is practically defenseless. Also, Samsons Conkeldurr should get Smack Down. That thing is ridiculusly easy to beat.

  5. We have a saying in my country. "Come granpa, I'll show you your old vine fields" or, less popular and more explicitely, "Come, granpa, I'll show you where granma has it"
  6. The new subforum is all nice and dandy, could we also get a wild pokemon locations guide, like the ev training guide for Reborn?
  7. Dr. Connall and his Electivire would like to interrogate you. Anyway. Unless Player Character is Flash Gordon, I doubt we did manage to see Amaria take her tumble, then run all the way to Calcenon, then then go back to the Circus, cut our way through the ice blockade, deal with the business on the mountaintop and return to the Circus again, all that in three days. Amy and Tania may be there for a bit of a while already, they may or may not have made some noise "PEOPLE JUMPING IN THE CASCADE IN NORTH OBSIDIA" or maybe "FAMOUS GYM LEADERS TITANIA AND AMARIA FALL DOWN THE CASCADE", so I doubt their presence would go unnoticed by the Mets. What would the Mets want with them? You guess. So, the Mets, being really lax up in Labradorra, where they're invulnerable, could dispatch their forces, storm the Center and grab hold of the dungeon, the princesses and the treasure. Why a PULSE in the WTC anyway? The WTC is right under the city authorities nose, it ain't no private factory nor a lone research facility in the middle of an empty island. It was the perfect bluff, while the WTC tried to actually clean the lake, PULSE Muk did tenfold damage. Good luck with that. I think that in the next episode we'll get a bit deeper into the Mets leadership dichotomy which pretty much started showing when we met Lin, and then we got more -confusing- info about it from Eclipse and one episode later, Cal. We could easily meet a certain Met who is tasked to snatch the jewel, and it's propably the one guy who isn't warm enough to the stuff they're into, but ranks high enough to land such a mission. I mean, Solaris won't even bother showing his face for the Ring in the mountaintop, Lin is pretty much unreachable, Sirius is propably tasked with Calcenon, the Doc and Ayas bitching, ZEL have a lot of PULSEs up there to keep 'em busy, and we haven't seen Taka since the events atop Pyrous Mountain. That's my prediction, no PULSEs, we meet with Taka. We fight either together with Taka or with (wild card) Adrienn, my most hated job placement in the whole game. Srsly, haven't gotten over the fact that Reborns own Viridian Gym hosts a fairy-wielding Rip Van Winkle. From that old ladys description in the Coral Ward before we meet xyr, I always thought the Leader was a Meteor Leader, or was dispatched by them. If I get it right, I want a cookie. Also, 2 separate 1% jumps, mean, HYPEEEEEE
  8. The Cleffa/Igglypuff also has a time limit, although you can get them later as well through breeding.
  9. Ok, is there any audio editing program that is sipmle and easy to use both vertically and horizontally? Argh.

  10. Reborn drinking game: a shot every time Victoria goes for the NVE instead of the SE move in the doubles with her.

Victoria gets the cookie though, especially if you try to grind in Pyrous.

Hard to believe she's spent so much of her life in that area.

  11. I just wanna partially ragequit from some university class tasks.

  12. That's Charlotte after the nerf. Definately after the nerf. And actually, she wasn't that difficult to begin with, other than Rotom the Immortal. And then that Delphox.
  13. Clefable was Noels flagship and signature mon before the fairy type was introduced. So they couldn't just axe that. The juiciest fuel of speculations is actually this Reborn Geography Club in North Obsidia, between the Nightclub and the Magma HQ. Pay it a visit for some info on the desert, Agate City and the eventual Champion. Also, the biggest wildcard is Taka for me, both plot and team wise. If Solaris has a Sandstorm team, or Pseudolegends and other strong stuff, or fierce Pokemon in general, Taka has a ...jungle team? Troll team? Weird team? Also, I guess we'll see him kinda soon, to learn what's going between the Meteor Leaders.
  14. Actually, I guess the soonest we're gonna return at the city above the surface will be after the end of this episode, at best. Maybe even later. If we returned in the beginning or in the middle of this episode, Ame wouldn't have had the need to stop access from the latest Dept. Store floors, since we could simply grab them evo goodies practically at the exact same moment: before starting the main action of the episode. As of Devon, there is an NPC, I think a Street Rat in C. Obsidia, stating that Yureyus business started going bad when lots of Devon people started taking jobs at Yureyu. Only, Team Meteor has already confirmed they were the ones doing the infiltration. So it's pretty solidly confirmed that Devon in Reborn is just a facade for the Meteors.
  15. ...let me finish banging my head against the wall a bit... ...a bit more, please... Ok, we're good. I solved it the old-fashioned "get out of the Route and back to the checkpoint, return back to the Route and find the Crustle back in its nest" way. Back to the head-against-the-wall routine now. It makes me feel more in pain and less like an idiot. Edit: ...returning to the Crustle, it actually came out of the nest already in a commatose state, asleep AND immovable, at least I solved it with the Rage Powder. When I saw it coming out and not reacting to any clicks, pushes or to Sleep Powder, I almost freaked out. Lesson learned for next time...
  16. This is my save file. This is me, and this is a Crustle in a very wrong place. Between me and the Crustle lies an unstable rock. And I have to pour some good ol' Rage Powder on that damn insect. Problem is, I can't circumnavigate the unstable rock between me and it. Have I missed a possible stable path towards the Crustle, or have I messed the path up for good? (Why is it there, you ask? First I thought that I could push it sideways, I had already saved in a position where I couldn't go back left, and then stuck it to the corner with the faintest of hopes that I could ragepowder it from the level above, but this get-out-of-jail-free card never worked.)
  17. That's half the plan, actually. The second half is a nice Gastro Acid to make his Clefable actually feel some pain out of the field and other collateral damage.
  18. Like, all the awesome lines got cut in 14.6? Kikis dead and zero, Cains "use protection", what else?

  19. Well, I haven't played Reju jet, and I'm pretty interested in starting it. Couple of questions: what's the level cap right now (if there is one), so I can have an idea how far is the game gone until now, and how good or not that good is the situation with bugs, glitches and other functional problems. ...and yeah, you may need a new thread or two, this one must be kinda chaotic.
  20. Do I remembercorrectly seeing a grant.doklan in one of the showdown videos posted these days?

  21. The run continues. I'm currently looking for the Ability Capsule in Azurine Islands, or rather, getting trolled, cause I can't find it. Srsly, if anyone remembers where it is, spill it. Shade was definately the most respectable out of all the leaders I've faced. I can't exactly remember how it went though, I always do Shade 3-4 times to feel the vibes a bit longer. Unique battle. Dodrio was too much for Kiki's Medicham, and I stole some tricks from her as well, finishing her Lucario with a HJK from MY Medicham. Sadly, with no Move relearner, it will be useless against Aya. Who is not that tough a gym leader for me normally, but it's starting to scare me a tad in this run with all the hype she gets in the forum. As of the team, I got my Whiscash finally, I got a Magneton, the aforementioned Medicham and evolved Zuzu the heroin to Azumarill. Sudowoodo retired. Emolga is also pretty much retired, can't figure much use for it onwards. So we're at a 10-mon roster right now. I have also amassed a huge Ability Capsule debt. I need 2 for Prankster M. Meowstic, 3 for Competitive Fem. Meowstic, 2 for Anticipation Whiscash (it senses that bad 4x grass weakness AND halves the damage in Radomous' field). So, as we head towards Solaris, that Garchomp and those double battles with Vicky against wild mons, I have to ask. What should I grind there? Is there something I could add to the team long term, or would be a huge help in a certain gym or certain situations? Is there a 'mon amongst the ones availiable to me now that could be an important piece going forward? Couple of lists: The future planned or wanted 'mons Cinccino the submachinegun Dewgong in Iolia (for Thick Fat against Charlotte, Blake etc) Zangoose (maybe post-game, it's child's play to raise it) an Arbok strictly for Noel maybe a Hitmon in Route 1 maybe another flying type, Bird Jesus, Xatu, Murkrow, Chatot or Golbat Basculin or Sharpedo (or Lumineon?) maybe Ninjask for the Baton Passes maybe a ghost (Mis'us? Banette? Dusclops? Sableye?) Seviper (definately post-game, it's a pain to raise, but worth it) The good-but-not-wants Crawdaunt (impossible to raise, exp-wise) Cacturne (7 weaknesses, yikes) Mr Mime and Swoobat (the 2 Meowstics pretty much offer more) So, what should I take in Pyrous Mt to train? Shuppett? Krabby? Venonat? Something entirely else? Nothing at all? The floor is yours.
  22. Want another, more decent one? Go to the Arcade, click everywhere, talk to everyone and get 1k coins. Buy Psyduck. Evolves before Corey and gets Zen Headbutt which is SE against Corey, Aya and gets a boost from the field as well against Kiki. Or you could take and trade Growlithe for Azurill with Huge Power, but it's a bit of a pain to friendship-evolve without gaining levels (it misses on Aqua Tail and Play Rough if you lvl up too much as an Azurill.
  23. Is there perhaps any hidden Ability Capsule between Shade and Azurine Island?

    1. BreezyPonie

      BreezyPonie

There is one in a rock in North Obsidia ward, and another in Ametrine Mountain by Shade's gym. You need Rock Smash to get inside, but once you do just head to your right and you'll find it.

  24. Is there any thread which explains how the moves that do different type damage in a field work?

I have studied the fields long enough :P The thing I don't understand is how is weakness and resistance applied when a move takes an additional type in a field. For example, in my latest run I tried a Muddy Water against Shades Gollett in the short-circuit field, where it "deals additional electric-type damage" to see how it worked. It was compeletely immune. I also wonder how it works if one type is SE and another is resisted, if the type added to the move receives STAB and so on...

I imagine it works much like Flying Press does, hopefully you know what that move is XD
