Jeez Radomus was kicking my butt, he's much harder now due to the chess field changes. So far he's been the hardest leader by far, I barely won with just a gothitelle left by gambling on mirror coat. She managed to survive Gardevoir's +3 moonblast just barely. Priority Metagross was a big pain too. but it was certainly an interesting fight.

I was on fire yesterday, took down 4 gym leaders and 3 of them first attempt. Noel took me 3 tries. My battle with Aya went especially well, everything just came together right that fight.
-
Kiki down, she might have been the easiest leader yet this playthrough tbh. Partly due to the weather being sunny which let Emboar go hog wild on her team. He OHKO'd medicham, toxicroak, lucario and took out hitmonlee too. If you can work around his speed Emboar turns into a force of destruction.

Did Shade last night...and beat him first try! I only had one pokemon left at the end, but the fight went really well for the most part. Had galvantula lead off with sticky webs, then had Zangoose(who was excellent for this fight with night slash) and Emboar(who runs over half of Shade's team) pull much of the weight. Mimikyu was the biggest issue as usual, but the speed drop + using Arbok(who is an excellent debuffer early game) to paralyze/debuff Mimikyu let the rest of my team defeat it, only leaving Banette left who Zangoose was able to defeat.

Just had an epic fight with Shelly. Both down to our last two mons(her volbeat and illumise, me Pignite and Joltik), and I managed to knock out her volbeat..
Spoiler.which triggers BOTH of my pokemon to evolve in the same turn. Poor illumise is so fear stricken she can't move(she was already paralyzed and it happened to trigger) letting my Emboar and Galvantula demolish her for the win.
Probably my coolest win yet this playthrough. 2nd attempt too, usually shelly gives me a hard time and it takes me a fair amount of tries to beat her. A mon with swift swim turns her rain against her, especially if you can remove the forest field too.

It's so wild playing ep 19 and seeing all the story changes. Gives more context on certain behaviors for certain characters, though one in particular is a bit jarring for me due to how different they seem first impression compared to past episodes.
-
I'm still in progress of an ep 18 playthrough but barely reach torumaline desert. Wondering if I should just download 19 and continue off there or does 19 change so much that a fresh playthrough is recommended?
-
I highly recommend starting a fresh save. A lot of the early game content and character arcs have been reworked plus the appearance of a new character added to the mix whom you have probably missed relationship points for if you're already at Tourmaline. I nuked my 300 hour file just to see what was up and it was well worth it.

Okay this regional Marill line for pokemon infinity is pretty cool. Rock/fighting with pure power? Sick.

Ooof jelly you were able to get the dragon eeveelution already. Mine is still an eevee in the box.
Also despite what I said earlier I ended up getting Tangrowth lol. It's funny because I clearly remember that Tagrowth/tangela being posted on Reddit some while back by an artist who I want to believe was one of the devs on the game in retrospect. In fact I think I commented on how its design was great but I felt like its stat changes were a bit awkward...which they still kinda are lol. Satwise it's worse than vanilla Tangrowth. Like sure it's a lot faster but at the loss of bulk and power, I don't feel it was worth it.

Legends Arceus leaks are showing up online, you have been warned!!!!

The one day I needed it to rain in Reborn and it's not raining on any route. Evolving Sligoo in Reborn sucks even moreso than the actual games because it's out of your control whether it you can actually evolve it or not. Got unlucky on the weather draw? No evolution for you.

Jeez Adrienne was not easy. Xe gave me quite a struggle ngl and I was getting rather salty last night trying to beat that fight lol. I didn't have any SE moves against fairies as I didn't want to use up a heart scale to reteach qwilfish poison jab but I figured my pokemon would hit hard enough or take advantage of the secondary weaknesses. The frustrating part was that I had to make sure certain things didn't happen or else I'd lose.
-Whimsicott couldn't pull off tailwind, as it'd blow away the mist field and make camerupt's eruption useless
-kecleon had to pull off trick room so donphan/sudowoodo/ camerupt can actually do damage without getting killed immediately by dazzling gleams
-qwilfish leading to intimidate granbull, but switching out to decidueye so Gradevoir wouldn't OHKO with psychic
-decideye lasting long enough to KO both Gardevoir and Whimsicott. This I had trouble with at first due to it being inconsistent as to whether Granbull would KO her or not, since Granbull is slow enough to outspeed decideueye in TR. I sort of bypassed this by giving her an iron ball which allowed her to KO whimsicott before granbull could KO.
-Adrienne was unpredictable after I KO'd whimsicott, as sometimes Xe would send out Togekiss but othertimes would switch to Mawile. Then there were times when she'd switch out Granbull after sending one of those two out to the other one. I had Camerupt to deal with Mawile, and sudowoodo for Togekiss. However if Mawile came out while Sudowoodo was red, it'd use sucker punch for an easy kill.
-I planned to use donphan for Florges, as two earthquakes hit hard enough to beat her, but I kept running into the issue of trick room expiring by then.
I got down to just Florges several times but trick room would expire and she'd just wreck donphan at that point. Since my team is very physical oriented, granbull and mawile's intimidation would hurt our damage output and thus mess up our pace. As long as I was able to get Camerupt on the field megaMawile wasn't too big an issue but Togekiss/Granbull/Florges were the big problems for this fight. TBH, I got lucky on my winning attempt as Adrienne switched out Granbull(who was like -2 from intimidate off qwilfish) into Mawile when I used eruption so it died immediately and Togekiss landed a critical dazzling gleam on Camerupt...who had anger point lol. This resulted in Camerupt turning into the incredible hulk and clobbering Granbull/Florges(and almost my team lol) with earthquake since trick room was still up. Togekiss was taken care of by sudowoodo(who then got KO'd to camerupt lol) and while Florges did survive with a little HP donphan finished her off. Kind of crazy how Camerupt's anger point won back that fight.

Adrienne is usually a tough battle. Fairy types face a lot of prejudice when it comes to opinions on the strongest type. Fairy types, however, are strong in many ways, and Adrienne has 6 extremely strong Fairy Types. Plus, xe actually uses Mega Mawile to completely annihilate your team. Plus, the field. Do I even have to explain the toughness of the field? No, I don't. Good job though. Have fun with Titania! She is my second favorite Gym Leader.

Took out Ciel. it took maybe about 3 resets and one attempt I lost due to missing a stone edge, but once I got my start down she was easy. Lead with Kecleon to set up trick room and take out togekiss, switch over to vanilluxe(who's like literally 25 levels below lol) once Gliscor KOs it to hurt it hard with ice beam, and have sudowoodo finish off gliscor then tear through the 3 next members of her team with stone edge. For megaltaria I just d-bond with Qwilfish. Once I had the idea of teaching kelceon rock tomb to take out togekiss faster it became a pretty easy fight. SO much easier than Terra lol.

Why does Julia even have a Bronzong at the house battle? Not only does it not fit her at all, it's dead weight and too passive which just results in Solaris and pal double teaming you. It doesn't even have levitate.
EDIT: okay finally managed it, figures I managed to win when Julia didn't use Bronzong lol.

Terra gave me such a hard time this playthrough. Well actually I got her down to her last pokemon several times but Swagsire just cockblocks my entire team and being unable to set up against it really hurt us. I tried changing the field and brute forcing it, but in the end I had no choice but to use destiny bond from qwilfish which was my planned method to deal with Garchomp who none on my team could take on...or so I thought. Turns ot by letting Scrafty set up dragon dances against palossand, I was able to get fast and hit hard enough for HJK to KO Garchomp after damage from spikes. Once Swagsire and Excadrill were out of the picture the rest were pretty easy for my remaining mons to deal with. I even caught and raised a Venomoth for this fight lol, it was useful for Nidoking and baiting out Swagsire early so I guess it worked out. But yeah, Her and Corey have been the hardest gyms so far for this playthrough.

wait...how'd you have a clefable at Solaris I? I thought that was a circus exclusive. Well, fair play either way, I'm kind of sick of Magnezone after using it all through reborn as well.
RE: Saphira: I'm gonna use Stealth Rocks, Noivern, Mega Scep, and the next three fastest dragons I can get my hands on. With that massive 2x field boost to dragon moves, and +1 spAtk from the seed, all that matters is outspeeding and OHKO-ing everything. Granted, with the boosted levels of leaders these days, I may need tailwind/webs to pull all that off, but it should be worth it to just ignore whatever nonsense she has planned.

It was an earlier version of Reborn, not the current one but I think I got it from a cleffa who IIRC was a possible reward for that sidequest in peridot ward. Now it's always igglybuff but before I think it could be cleffa or igglybuff.
EDIT: yeah just checked, back before 15 Cleffa was one of the options. I first played Reborn in version 14.

Okay Charlotte I handled pretty well this time. Only took two tries, and first time we got screwed over by a burn from heat wave, Team was quilfish, camerupt, kecleon, sudowoodo, scrafty and donphan. Had quilfish set rain immediately and once kecleon was able to fire off trick room, Sudowoodo went to town. Didn't even have to use donphan.
