  1. My favorite is easily Klefki, entry from X and OR. Are you intimidated of this set of keys? Well you better be. Why? Because Klefki "threaten any attackers by ferociously jingling their keys at them." If that isn't the most hardcore thing you've ever heard of, you better clean your ears and try again.
  2. I agree with Pyrrhon here. Although I would have preferred them allowing all of the Pokemon (Meloetta, Jirachi, etc.), it really won't be particularly harmful, and will force people to build their teams around potential threats. And the biggest crux of it is that you only get TWO of these potentially uber Pokemon, so honestly there won't be as much of a problem as there was last year for the teams that look identical.
  3. Does the Snowball fight mean that you can't use, say, Heatran because it is part steel? Or are dual types that are part GWFI acceptable?
  4. This is a pretty irrational answer to yesterday's QoTD, so forgive me for the madness if you have it in your heart (:< I can't go without 2+ bowls of cereal per morning before school, particularly it has to be some combination of Mini Wheats, Cinnamon Life, and occasionally I can stand Honey Bunches of Oats/Frosted Flakes. I will be grumpy and tired the entire rest of the day if I don't get my cereal in the morning, and most of my close friends have somehow become wary of my no-good-cereal moods. As a side note, if nothing else, I need to get my driver's license just to be able to make my own trips to the grocery store ~
  5. OP? Sure. Mega Jirachi Type: Psychic/Fairy Ability: Regenerator Design: Loses it's yellow shell and becomes more energy-based. Eye fully open and envelops more of it's body. Stats: HP: 100 Attack: 120 (+20) Defense: 110 (+10) Special Attack: 140 (+40) Special Defense: 110 (+10) Speed: 120 (+20) Notable Change: Moonblast is now learnable in game (instead of a Japan only event)
  6. If we're assuming that Pokemon are directly similar to the evolution that occurred in our Earth, then this image is a good starting point for that kind of speculation.
  7. For me, it's pretty much all of the Safari Zones. Generation 1's, while the best of the five IMO, still wasn't fun to navigate through, especially considering a full item run of the place would take at least 2-3 run through's of the zone, if you knew what you were looking for. Additionally, I can't stand searching and searching for all the rare Pokemon in this safari. As a kid, I was never able to catch Kangaskhan, Tauros, Chansey, Scyther, and Pinsir, making me very irritated towards this place for hoarding all the hard-to-get Pokemon. 'Generation 2's', aka the one in HGSS was a pretty fun idea going in, but the execution particularly drove me nuts. Although a concept of different areas that are swappable was good, it's the way that you have to get up the "points" to get the rare Pokemon that bothered me the most. Being a completionist my whole life and knowing that that was the only way to get certain Pokemon in HGSS really drove me a little nuts (enough that a combination of Gen 4's Swarms, this Safari, and the entirety of the Pokewalker put me off from completing the NatDex in this gen). Generation 3's is not the worst, but not the best either. The items in this one were less plentiful than generation one's, and the Pokemon weren't too hard to find in this one. The two mechanics that really killed it for me were the bike-exclusive areas and the Pokeblocks. The former was annoying because I really hated the idea of having to fly back to one city just to exchange bikes just to go get a Rhyhorn (for example) and it just seemed like bad game design. Luckily, this was alleviated in ORAS by allowing the player to, at one point, have both bikes (and get TM Energy Ball in the Safari Zone!). The latter point was not necessarily a game breaker, it just seemed like a worthless feature to require the Pokeblock case for entry, especially when I would forget to pick it up, and then remove the rock/bait options from FRLG. Generation 4's is the bane of my existence. The god-awful marsh walking speed, lack of any cool items to pick up, the frustrating and luck-based binoculars system to get the 'good stuff', and the stupid train system make this the worst safari yet. It is really that bad. Of all the tropes that were not reintroduced in Gen 5, I'm glad that they left the safari zone out. Generation 6 is a novel concept, and I can't really hate it that much because it is more of my own gripes that make me angry for this one. I didn't like having to resort to frequenting Serebii forums and f. adding randoms just to collect all the Pokemon in pre-bank XY, so this was a good idea that was just inconvenient to someone trying to catch them all. Oh, and Safari balls suuuuuuuuuuck. Maybe if they made it into a cool mechanic with a safari-bound Jeep that gets to roam around, I would enjoy the feature.
  8. One punch man is exactly what I needed in my life :]

    1. Jan

      Jan

      Thanks, I appreciate it.

  9. You mean like, a hidden Green Shard in a rock?
  10. Won't be able to play league today or tomorrow :(, guess I'll take on the first leader Sunday!

  11. That feeling when you need a roll in the top 5% to win the game and then it comes through
  12. If somebody can shop a hat onto my boy Groose's pompadour, it would be greatly appreciated xD
  13. I started using this team too, it's TONS of fun so far. The only major hurdles I've encountered so far are the likes of Mega Manectric and Ferrothorn, since neither of them can really go down too easily without a boosted Pinsir, boosted Manaphy, or alive Garchomp (and in the latter case, hitting its Fire Blasts). I love tricking out an opponent using Aqua Jet/Quick Attack with the boosted Feint on M-Pinsir though :feelsgd: Once I get a decent replay of me using the team, I'll put it here.+ EDIT: Here it is: a beautiful 6-0 that I got by getting a crit Feint with Pinsir .-.
  14. If anyone is good with PS3 controllers on Windows PC stuff, please PM me :3

  15. Neither butterfly Pokemon really gets any decent niche roles in the rest of the game, so I would recommend using neither or them. Judging by your trainer card, I know there are a lot better bug Pokemon that you can get at that point in the game if you so wish (Yanmega, Scolipede, etc.) so I think you'd be better off using something like that or opting for a different kind of coverage for the upcoming gyms (maybe fighting would be advantageous?) Scrapping Pidgeot might be a good idea at some point, but if it's working for you then hey, it's working. Side note: this should probably go in Team Showcase.
  16. Hey, all! I'd like Vero (M), and a Water-type background, please. Team:
  17. I don't know, it would seem logical that Lin would have no reason to personally appear in front of Ame especially if she's the champion. If she did, that would basically blow the cover right away (that is, if there even is cover) and I don't think she would want to do that. I expect her to be commanding a PULSE in this episode that strikes 'the heart of Reborn' but I suppose we'll see about that.
  18. I've ridden pretty much every coaster at Disneyland/Disneyworld, as well as every coaster at Six Flags Vallejo, CA. Out of all of the ones I've ridden, "California Screamin'" has to be the most exhilarating. If I find a video I'll embed it.
  19. TIL that, according to my Econ teacher in one of his tired moods, "[student]'s mom is so fat, when she puts on a red dress, all the kids go 'ooh, kool-aid!'"
  20. I'm glad we got a Reborn wallpaper of a character I actually kinda like, because it means I could use some rainmeter magic to make this...
  21. I personally have never noticed EV's and have done perfectly fine so far in all of my runs of Reborn, so don't ever feel pressured to do so. If you are inclined to, then I second Vinny's notion of using EV-reducing berries once you get access to them.
  22. Hey Hiroki, I'm pretty sure the thread you're looking for can be found here.
  23. This is correct. Also, you can update your status as often as you want, old statues won't impede it at all.
  24. BLAKE ON TOP OF AMETRINE MOUNTAIN. Holy balls, I can't stand this battle for the life of me. Even if they resist ice, if your Pokemon are slower, the Field + Hail + STAB Blizzards that can fire out of 4/6 of his Pokemon are nearly unstoppable. My ground mono has been stuck on his hard ass for the past three months because I don't have enough time to remove the hail, field, and not die.
