Kyurem-B is a legendary so it gets support from sheer BST and its not something I see often either. Mamoswine, weavile, and cloyster all either have a specific ability/move pool/stat distribution that makes them work. Itd be fairly trivial to replace ice typing in all of those and vastly increase their overall power and viability.

Fairy type? lmao no, they became one of the best defense types in the game. Immunity to dragon moves and resistant to some of the strongest offensive types, their move pool is pretty shallow but most of the mons are walls anyways so getting good STABs is irrelevant anyways. I posed this question once to a competitive player I know once and he instantly responded with ice and to me his reasoning made sense: despite being a decent offensive typing you can take literally any pokemon in the game and replace its ice typing with something else and itd become a better pokemon and if you were to take any non-ice pokemon in the game and made one of its types ice it instantly becomes a worse pokemon.

Not surprised With such a large portion of the setting involving toxic water and being a game with prevalent field effects around every corner a toxic water-esque field was inevitable. As someone whose floated around many different kinds of forums, with many different screen names, sometimes rightfully kicked from some and wrongfully others and occasionally simply valued and respected: dont let some infraction points get to you. Its just numbers in a database and its the emotions behind them that really count. I dont know what you did, but I recently acquired some points myself and I say just take it as a sign that you crossed the limit but now you know where that limit is and can flirt with it from time to time. For the whole skill thing, Im sure you could probably beat me any day of the week and while I get thats not the point youre trying to make consider that a large part of what makes competitive skill is psychology. Its quite simply possibly you are on a losing streak not because your skills are crumbling away but because you are trying to fight when your mind is in a dark place. Everyone has their own way of handling this, but one practical thing you could try(worked for some, not for all) is too go into a match with the entire sole intention of losing while trying to do something funny. Throw together some janky team thatd never work but does something you think would be hilarious if it happened and just roll with it. Experiment and flirt with failure, take it on a date, romance losing. That way when you are done and run into it again itll feel less miserable and more fondly. Greatness isn't in consecutive victory, its in learning from every encounter no matter the outcome.

Its not like hes been whining about not having his talonflame(though may seem that way if one doesn't actually read what he wrote), hes just complaining about what he believes is some faulty logic. Id have to agree that a lot of things have been pushed back because 'omg too op pls nerf' without ever testing it. Theres also plenty of pokemon that got deservingly pushed back because they did prove to be OP despite not thinking so before hand. On this legendary topic I believe all hes trying to say is that banning out legendaries simply on the premise of being a legendary and not on its individual viability in game is a bit premature. Not to mention a large chunk of certain strong pokemon are strong only in relation to their movepool that we dont have access to because of the TM sparsity. A great example would be greninja. Pretty much everyone agrees that he is way OP yet with few exceptions I have only seen people who have actually used him(myself included) say he didnt put in nearly as much work as expected thanks to his movepool options. Especially since what good moves he can get he doesnt till late game.

To be fair there is the whole double freeze effect, and idk about you but when was the last time you spammed blizzard on an ice field four turns in a row? Such is life but oh boy am I looking forward to the rage in the next episode, though so far he seems to be really enjoying this trippy gen one glitch area.

To me I see it being like people who use pokegen to make legal but perfect pokemon for competitive play in the handhelds. Whats the difference between exchanging for a generated pokemon in the handheld and trading for a perfectly bred pokemon? Both are legal for nintendo, but one method is a time saver for the person doing the generation and the one receiving the pokemon sees no difference. But eh, I can see how people would view it otherwise, but I've said my piece so if people want to reach out to me or figure it out themselves they will. Welp if thats the stance you want to take then Id say go with my option number two above. Just note the potential risks in doing so. I've been in your shoes a few times before(you wear converse bro? jk), and sometimes it works beautifully and sometimes it fails spectacularly, but in the absence of moving on it beats burning time imo.

As someone whose had uhh more than a few relationships AND as someone who has experienced the 'friend zone' more than a few times AND busted out of the friendzone once or twice Id say you have two options. 1. Move on. Pretty much everyone in this thread has advocated that and tbh it really is your best scenario. It will save you time and energy and most importantly it will save you emotional headache. Its never easy at first but I would never have gotten together with my current girlfriend of four(or is it five?) years had I not decided to stop wasting my time on the previous girl I had a crush on. 2. Be ballsy as ****. This is the high risk high reward route. This won't be for the faint of heart and trust me your heart will be pounding like mad from nervousness. You may very well wreck your friendship with both individuals(entirely depends on their temperament and your approach/handling the aftermath). I don't really recommend this, but I believe in giving people the tools to shoot themselves in the foot if they so desire and it's the only way I've successfully gotten out of the friendzone. What I mean is you need to walk up to her and make it explicitly still clear you like her and want to go out, you tell her that she can either keep pinning for this other dude or take a shot with you and see if hey maybe things work out. Even if she says yes doesn't necessarily mean youre out of the hole yet but at least you have a shot now. If she hmms and haws then its up to you to take the drastic route and play douchebag mc matchmaker and go up to the dude yourself and see if hes interested in her and regardless of his answer you let her know the truth(this is where youre liable to strain your relationship). If she says no though you gotta respect her wishes and go for option number one. The real nice things about option number two is its great for learning how to take charge and be confident, and yes you can be confident even if you feel like a nervous wreck on the inside and yes even if you fail in your goal. Yes you may 'ruin everything' and feel like crap if things go sour but really friends come and go while youre young, youll be surprised who is and isn't your friend five years from now especially post high school. Losing friends may suck but learning when and how to cut ties with some people is a healthy lesson to learn despite what others may think.
