  1. Fern, the field of Route 1. I have a Typhlosion. The entire field was fire
  2. Ultimately the death meant nothing. Worf Effect (Which I absolutely loathe) was in full swing and Lin/Ame's limited screen time equaled just another corpse to clean up, go through and haul out. Could it have been better done? Yes. Would it be implemented at this point? Meeh. Playing through Reborn a second time is troubling and for those with limited time and busy schedules means trying to sit down and do it over again. .... If anything, shouldn't Ame's corpse be removed from the Fake Devon building? It's still kinda there after we escape....
  3. So the chapter's name is called Rust Thicker than Water. Now we can obviously take it from the Titania/Amaria subplot, but we can also differ from the El arc and Taka's position in Team Meteor. The only think I can see is between Solaris and Taka. Will he take the path of Blood is thicker than Water, or will he go with the actual quote: "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb". Aaaand that's the point I want to see. It's pretty clear that nobody likes Lin on Team Meteor and follow her because they are scared shitless (besides Sirius, but who cares about him?). Hell, I'm willing to bet that the first Team Meteor act on the Byxbysion Ward was completely under Solaris's control. Despite going out of his way to kill Kiki, from what we got from Eclipse and other actions, he does just want to get people to move away from Reborn City. This act of compiling garbage is definitely out of point from the current Meteor activities such as blowing up a surrounding city, creating toxic waste in the water, destroying three wards with trees, etc. (well, maybe Abra, but that's just another thing) This creates a minor timetable of how things were going. Sometime during Solaris's childhood, Reborn City was created. Out of his believes, Solaris created Team Meteor. The Byxbysion Ward incident and somewhere, Lin takes over the Team. Will we learn more? Eh, who knows?
  4. Huh. The more you know. Guess we are following that route then. Still, makes you wonder. Once character's are basically freed up, they are all equally a part of the chopping block.
  5. Irrevelant as the context of the story and the gym leader roundabout. We circle back to Reborn City from the circus side divergence, head into the desert then circle back to the circus to head into Agate city. (though I wonder if Meteor hadn't interfered, would we have fought Hardy?) Actually that brings another point of order. Had Team Meteor not caused trouble, what is the official Gym Leader roundabout of the Reborn Region?
  6. I personally want to know who's next on the chopping block. Laura? Radomus? Serra? Haven't seen them in awhile, would be perfect for fodder at this point of the story. Though, less on Radomus due to Gardevoir floating around. Blake and Cal's story will probably be after E17 because we'll need to head to Agate. Which would be around Titania/Amaria's story because of her gym being there. But if there's one thing I do want from the story is when it comes to a person like Sirius and Blake. They don't need a redemption arc or anything, adding backstory can easily hurt characterization after all. Guys them just need to hit the chopping block; chop, chop, chop.
  7. So I'm stuck getting a pokemon huh? That's pretty bull.
  8. This may not need spoilers but wasn't Corey's Silver Ring supposed to be set as a Key Item now? I still have it as a regular item
  9. So the release is out and I'm playing it now. The music does certainly sound compressed, but it then it feels like an old pokemon game so I personally like that idea. However, in terms of story, beyond the sidequests because they were pretty fine
  10. Easiest was Samson. Flying and Gardevoir made it too easy. Hardest was probably Radomus and 'Energy Ball' Charlotte.
  11. Team Meteor has gained my respects as villains in the story. From the various teams that we had dealt with in past Pokemon Games and even some fanhacks or fan-made games, there are two aspects of team that make it stand out as true villains. They are humans and they are efficient (competent). They are just as smart, if not smarter than our hero characters. They have goals of their own. Their backstories have some involvement with one another and it breathes in the conflict with the characters. It's the complexity between characters like Taka, ZEL, Eclipse, Solaris that these characters play out to the simplify of Fern, Sirius, Blake and Lyn. Of course, that's not without issue. You can definitely see that even with a fan-made game, there are several problems I have with characters and their general motives, but its still enjoyable. Overall, I've enjoyed this villainous team and I want to see them fleshed out more.
  12. Based on early game, its Torchic. But I personally went for Cyndaquil.
  13. That Artwork.... It almost brings a tear to my eye. But yes, it's definitely amazing
