  1. Well here is another thing that my character could do since it is in the last position as gym leader and could also give more plot ideas. Since my character would have access to planes maybe what could happen is that one of the leaders of the enemy organizations could commission a job for me to build a plane for research purposes but instead they use it to get the the place where "x" resource is in order to complete their goals or maybe even the legendary pokemon itself. My character would then try to fix his mistake by helping the main protagonist. "Why would they come to me in the first place?" Well Johnny is a leading expert on travel in hostile conditions. This area that the plane would need to travel would not only have horrendous weather to travel in but also have dangerous pokemon to deal with (yet again late game stuff so maybe pokemon like dragonite, hydreigon, gyarados, etc. could be obtainable here since they player would have to go through a majority of the game without them. It would depend of what area it needs to travel in, I was thinking either an island or mountain but I am open to suggestions). "Why would Johnny agree to help them in the first place" Well at his core he just wants to experience the world and all it has to offer and share that with the world. If he can build this machine that would allow people to safely visit parts of the world previously unexplored then he would want to be apart of that. This could be done several ways: 1) I built a plane, they took it and left without us, so I build another plane on the fly to go after them, 2) Be on the plane with them in the first place, they try to take the plane over and we take it back, 2.5) Fail in taking the plane back but wreck it upon landing and then taking the wreckage and making another plane while the protagonist stops their plans. 3) My character went on the plane with them, found out what they were doing and then tries to stop them and sent back skarmory as a messenger to get help which the main protagonist would receive. Here are just a few ideas about what could happen. I could always come up with more ideas and tweak the ones I already have. Please grill me as hard as you can. The more stuff we can get out of the way and polish now they less work we will have to do later.
  2. That sounds like it could be a good idea. It would all depend on when the betrayal would come in though. Also you would have to given enough depth to the character to make us feel bad about being betrayed when they return to the other side.
  3. I like it a lot. I have that vibe that gets you really hype. In terms of repeatability though towards the end it kind of tapers off, which for a song that will probably need to repeat several times kinda cuts the flow. I am sure that this can be edited slightly to that the transition is smoother during actual gameplay.
  4. Here is this questionaire for Johnny "J2" 1. Outside of battling I do primarily research in aerospace engineering. My goal one day is to be able to achieve great heights and and take people to see the amazing places this world has to offer. 2. I won't tell you to go away. But remember this, you need to put in as much effort as your pokemon. Pokemon are not just tools to be used as someone's disposal. You must be willing to go through the same pain and training as your pokemon. After this battle, I implore you to go and do some training along with your pokemon. I think you will find that you will both learn to grow, change, and mature through this experience. 3. Well I can see the improvement you have done since the last time. Let me tell you something. The first time I ever lost, I went back and did some more training. When I challenged that person again, I lost again. I repeated this process of going back and training and challenging this person again and again. It almost got to the point where they saw me and they knew what was going to happen. I repeated this process more times than I could count, but ever time I went back I got stronger, faster, smarter. I got to know my pokemon, my friends, more and more. Their limitations, their weaknesses, but most importantly their resolve. Even when I finally beat that trainer, there were still others out there that I don't even know of waiting to push me even further. Even now there is still trainers I want to beat. Don't give up after one or two tries, keep on fighting until you have nothing left to give. Your friends will not give up on you if you do not give up on them. So go back, train, and challenge me again in order to surpass me. I will be waiting for you. 4. Well looks like I was not strong enough this time. But let me tell you something, there are still people out there you haven't even heard of who are stronger than you. Stay humble in victory, because i guarantee you that you are not the strongest in the world. There trainers who are ten times stronger than you and are infinitely better human beings. 5. My favorite season would have to be winter. The world can just change in a blink of the eye. It at winter it feels as though time can just slow down. You can appreciate the world around you more. You can spend five minutes just relaxing looking out the winter landscape and just drift away with a cup of warm tea or hot chocolate by your side. 6. Generally speaking I can appreciate the effort it takes to create any type of music, that being said I prefer to listen to either jazz or classical. Depends on my mood or what mindset I need to be in that day. But sometimes you just need that heavy metal style just to get the blood flowing. (On a side note this is why I chose Mechanical Rhythm as his theme music. It has that heavy metal theme but it also combines a sort of classical feel into it as well) 7. Strength means not giving up even in total defeat. The battle isn't over until the last pokemon goes down, there is always a chance for a comeback so long as you do not give up. But the second you give in, the second you admit defeat, it won't matter how little of a chance you had before, because now that chance is zero. Even if you lose in the end, you can always get back up and try again. Give it everything you got until the end. 8. Depends on the situation. How many terrorists are there, what are their goals, who is leading them, how many hostages, what kind of building, how many people do we have to deal with the situation. It all depends on that. I would ask as many questions and try to get the answers to them and react base on what is given. If we do send in a task force I would be frontlines leading. Would make sure to have support keeps eyes and ears and keep me updated on the situation as much as possible. It also depends on whether or not they are using guns since guns aren't really used in the pokemon universe. If they aren't using guns and just using pokemon I would definitely go in and try to knock out the enemy and not kill. However, if they are using guns and other weapons would still try to disarm but if it comes down to a situation where a gun is against someone's head, I will do whatever it takes to protect those I care about even if that means breaking my moral codes and killing. 9. There was a girl who I dated for a while but we just broke up. We tried to make it work long distance but it was too much. But I am still young and there are plenty people out there. I am sure there is someone out there for me. 10. (Depends when right now is) If I am working on research- "I would love to battle you later but let me finish this up really quick. Once I finish with this we will head back to my gym and battle". If I am in the gym or just outside casually- "Sure I would love to battle, I am always looking for a new challenger. If now is right at this exact moment which is currently 1:41 am- "Look man I am really tired right now, I need to rest and prepare for tomorrow. Come back later when I am not dying of sleep deprivation."
  5. Well going off of this idea of 17 conflicting stories, I think that we can all agree on working together to come to some sort of conclusion. I mean ultimately I do believe it is up to Jacob to give final say of how the story progresses. However I believe that we can all chat with each other to make sure we have at least a coherent story.
  6. Hey I would like to apply for a gym leader position. Since I already applied for one on the Arcane version I figured my gym leader could be a brother to the gym leader, Tempo, in Arcane. The name would be Johnny but people would call him J2. The team would be: Aegislash Metagross Scizor Skarmory Excadrill Bisharp Personality- So Johnny would be really smart, like building his own planes kind of smart. However he also believes in having a strong body with a strong mind as well. So he will often make his own swords and shields and practice regularly with them for training and self-defense. He also does not believe in killing or doing harm to others on purpose, for example he is vegetarian. If he ever gets into a fight he won't just let his pokemon do all the work he will fight with them as necessary. Design: Short black hair, blue polo, jeans, white tennis shoes, glasses, tan, always carries as sword on his back, just in case. Story ideas: He would be an aerospace engineer working for a space program to help with the environment. However, Team Ultima would rather use this technology to in order expand human's technology. Johnny would be conflicted on whether to protect the environment or to expand technology. (I would personally see him be conflicted with this since with more technology they could better protect the environment as a whole but at the cost of some environment but I digress and will leave the ultimate decision up to you on whether or not to use this idea). *Bonus really cool idea: For the gym battle if you could have a field effect that allow him to do damage along with the pokemon that would be awesome. It would make it seem as though he is fighting as well. You could also have the player use this to their advantage as well, will explain through the quotes. Quotes: Opening- "You have done well to make it here but lets see what your are really made of. You better not think that you could just get by ordering your pokemon to do everything. There are practice swords right there to your left pick one up and test your mettle." (I am very proud of the pun btw) Closing(if player lost)- "See you can't just rely on your pokemon to do all the hard work. Try training yourself and come back again" Closing(if player won)- "Looks like I still have a long ways to go. Time to go back to the lab to think of new strategies and then work at them to make them reality. Theme: Mechanical Rhythm-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCclUgQk1Lk If you have any questions regarding character or story aspects please message me. I will be happy to answer any questions to help make the game better.
  7. For a cloud field effect i think you should also consider weather effects being affected. For example if sunny water pokemon take damage since there is less moisture and more heat. if rainy accuracy should be decreased for most pokemon since how hard would it be to right in a rain cloud. moves like thunder and hurricane should have 100% accuracy. ground type moves always miss. idk these are just a few examples I could think of
  8. Triathlete Mac -Hitmonchan Opening: FOR GLORY! Closing: Whoops! Looks like I just fell of the edge.
  9. whelp looks like i'm starting from the beginning *cries slowly* oh well thanks for trying
  10. Yeah no problem. I actually just tried to see if I could play the game without my save file and it worked fine albeit it started at the very beginning since there was no save file which tells me that the program is fine.
  11. I actually don't use the cybernav to listen to music. And I did what you said and it still doesn't work it still gives the same "no such file or directory..." i tried just taking out the entire audio file too since you can still play without audio and it still gives me that message.
  12. Hey so I tried to play version 6 of rejuvenation when the game wouldn't load. I saved in the speed room of the ev training center so I figured that would be safe. I tried to go back to version 5 to see if I could save in the pokemon center itself but it gave me another error can you help me.
  13. hey so I have been trying to get a hidden ability espurr for the past hour and I haven't even gotten 1 yet. is this just horrible rng or can there not be a hidden ability espurr?
  14. can someone explain to me the "The four western warriors, the best of our kind from top to bottom" clue just pm me.
  15. The bidoof room is still confusing beyond imagination what is the clue from the shiny bidoof supposed to mean ALJNFO:WNELJNVSDL:DN!!!!! oh well time to stress over this until the new release
  16. Whoops my bad sorry have a bunch of the fan made pokemon games on my computer sorry about that
  17. So Connor is still following me can you fix this. Also on another side note has anyone figured out the "patience is a virtue" room and the bidoof room. All I found in the patience room was a nugget and the bidoof room is something I am still willingly to figure out but if anyone has solved these puzzles could the private message me just so that I know that these puzzles can be done?
  18. Tempo17

    Aron

just kill the man's hopes and dreams huh... brutal but in all honestly I kinda agree that he should really contain his emotions
  19. Alright I just finished playing through your game. Overall it was pretty good. There are some technical glitches ie. whenever I open a door exiting a room if there is another door on screen it will be open as well, the part where connor burns down the tree with his vulpix was repeated twice in the same area, and most annoying of all was how after you beat the cult leader connor still follows you everywhere. I don't know whether or not if I can upload my save file if you will be able to fix that particular problem or not just a few things to consider. Honestly speaking for the first gym leader was kinda made trivial because frogadier water pulse is way too op for that gym battle. A suggestion to make it harder would be to have the lead vulpix hold a heat rock so that the sun will last a little bit longer.
  20. hardest pulse for me was definitely abra. I had to pray I get a para hax with my magnezone
  21. dude what if Jan just puts in another character into the game just an npc surrounded by nintendo things saying, "I'm in a better place now"
  22. man it had to be a tied between mamoswine and magnezone. Magnezone took care of the pulse, they both did work during the double battles and mamoswine basically ice sharded everything to death
  23. Hey quick question but are there ability capsules in this game. I was wondering since I accidentally saved after the I got the tyrouge and I waned an iron fist hitmonchan but I got the wrong ability?
  24. and MIA stands for Missing In Action btw
  25. narcissa's tm you need to get the ladder, surf, and dig. its in a part of the amethyst cave. just looking for an area you can reach with surf you will find it eventually. you also have to go through 2 very tough battles back to back so much sure you pokemon are fairly high level. substitute i do not know off of the top of my head
