You can fish in the house with the pool in Peridot Ward. Finneon and Goldeen are encounters for Old Rod.

You can choose between the Team Magma gang and the Team Aqua Gang once you enter Lapis Ward, but if you choose to join the Magma Gang, you'll have to wait until beating Shelly for access to the Aqua Gang, where Murkrow is.

Oh, thanks. I actually wanted a Leaf Stone in Reborn by mining, but I also have an Oddish I kinda want to use, and I prefer Vileplume over Bellosom. Nice to know I don't have to wait too long!

iirc, you have to go to Oceana Pier, onto one of the docks where Melia and Venam are talking to Augustus. -
Certain event Pokemon can only be interacted with using the Gourmet Treat. Upon giving the Pokemon one, they will join you or battle you. Examples being Buizel in Oceana Pier and Whismur at Goldenwood Forest.

Are you past the Yureyu entrance from the Railnet? There should be dark cracks on the walls in the train track maze.

What Sinikuro says. BTW, Cyndaquil is available a bit into the game, around 8-9 Gym Leaders, so maybe you should choose something else, like Fennekin, if you don't want your team to be too OP early. EDIT: Just saw your other post. It does suck you can't get Fennekin yet, though. It seems good enough if it was availble now. Maybe Ame will put it in after Titania?

...oh. Well then. Anyways, best wishes to you on your challenging Pokemon playthrough. Fire only has three Pokemon available before Julia, but afterwards, you'll gain more Pokemon which can be very beneficial to your team, like Numel and Vulpix early on.

Now that I think about it, nobody's mentioned villainous teams from spinoffs like Ranger. TBH, most of their desires are really... stupid, like the Societea's desire to get the Golden Armor to stay young. Cipher was pretty cool, since it had Miror B, so that's my favorite spinoff team. If only the spinoffs had more popularity...

Yay, Froakie! He's really good and pretty diverse. He can be a Mixed Attacker, especially with Protean giving insta-STAB. I'm surprised Jan didn't put him later in the game, even if you could only purify him around the second Gym (technically after the first, but that may be bugged. Maybe it's fixed in the new update.). Wonder who you'll replace for Froakie, if you'll be using it. Probably will, so I suppose Aelia will be, unless you value Rain Dance that much. Finneon/Lumineon are sadly not very good Pokemon, but I still like their designs! -
Well, maybe just any Pokemon that are huge in general, according to the Pokedex. They would include: A whole bunch of Legendaries Wailord Gyarados Milotic etc. Now, I've heard that serpent-like Pokemon's heights are based on how tall they would be if they were all stretched into one rigid line. Still, Gyarados and Milotic could potentially be huge Pokemon. Maybe optional mini-bosses to get Feebas and (finally) the Magikarp Egg!

Ooh, pretty Bug types! That's a first (if you don't include Vespiquen and Vivillon)! Also, Goshee is indeed cute, but Eufur is even more! Ghost/Normal is a strange typing, however... Perhaps it can work out in its favor. Maybe STAB Hyper Voice/Return, plus Shadow Ball/Shadow Sneak, and, obviously, Will-o-Wisp, will earn it a spot on my team! I'd think it would be a Special Attacker, which I like, but it might be a Physical or a Mixed. I don't know; I won't judge.
