  1. Huh, seems that the Sticker Guide is incorrect. Apparently the mid-tier goods are on the fifth floor, while the consumable items are on the fourth. Thanks, fixed!
  2. <3 love that trainer sprite although I'm not too sure what she's holding, a stuffed animal?
  3. Hi Hank, and welcome to Reborn! And wow, that's a cool achievement. Good luck getting the rest of the Pokemon and completing it!
  4. Hi Dante, and welcome to Reborn~ Wow, looks like you've played quite a few fan-games! The Reborn forums also has a few more fan-games in development if you'd like to check them out. Also, if you don't mind Fakemon, I'd recommend playing Uranium, which is fairly close to completion!
  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TACK #BreloomBot: (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧*:・゚✧
  6. I believe that's Floor 5, according to the Sticker Guide. Go down one floor and see if you have the Pokedoll as one of the options.
  7. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOTUS guess i'm one of those kids who don't really know you but #BreloomBot: (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ ...arkhi pls
  8. Hi Coderis, and hope you enjoy your stay at Reborn! Seems a bit ambitious to only use shinies, but it's definitely easier in Reborn. Good luck with your second run~
  9. Hi, Gaminggoodness, and hope you enjoy your stay at Reborn!

    1. Kamina

      Kamina

      i'll try ,__,

  11. Bold Bronzong ...I guess that's better than Sandshrew? Rip Gen 6 Steel nerf tho :[
  12. Assault Vest forces you to only use attacks, but gives you a 1.5x boost to your Special Defense. Helpful to those Pokemon who aren't too frail and don't need to use use status moves. I'd personally put the other 252 EVs in HP, as base 70 speed isn't that great compared to other Pokemon, and the HP will help Metagross survive more hits. But you can do what you want to do, it's in-game after all! The Power Band will only temporarily make you lose Speed, once you take that item off, your Speed will be back to normal.
  13. I believe it has to be first. It can be fainted, though, and the ability will still work, so you might want to keep a fainted Compoundeyes Pokemon up front with a Frisk Pokemon second.
  14. tfw you get togekiss hax'd

    1. pyrromanis

      pyrromanis

It was more like an undying togekiss rather than a haxing one...

  15. Kay, I've captured every single non-Credit Shop Pokemon that's name isn't Elekid~ but I don't have a male Burmy to evolve into a Mothim... Can't wait for better Audino Trainers in version 3 so that grinding everything so they evolve will be easier ;-;
  16. Part 11 Lapis Ward Lapis Ward is for the richest residents of Reborn City, but it also has a fairly high gang crime rate. In this part of the city, there are a few Trainers who will fight you in panic because Corey's body fell here and a bomb exploded just to the east. There's a battle going on, so one of the streets is blocked, forcing you to talk to this new character who is also blocking the way. She's in front of a building called Dr. Connal's Orphanage and Psychiatric Treatment Center, where children are told to stay away from... If you head up a bit north, after beating a few more of those Trainers, you'll find a crowd around Corey's dead body. Victoria will be there, along with a familiar face, if you have done the Kricketot event. Shelly, the Bug Gym Leader, is there, as well. Some more familiar faces arrive. Aster and Eclipse come to check on the dead body. They will mention that they blew up the Grand Stairway and are looking for something underneath it. After they leave, someone new will appear... Shelly will recognize him as Shade, and Victoria tries to remember who that is. Victoria and Shelly will decide to go into the Gym, and the crowd will disappear. Following them is the next step plot-wise, but Lapis Ward has quite a few things to do. Firstly, there's a couple of places of interest, like the Pokemon Center, as always. Also, there's the Lapis Bicycle Luxury! However, the Bikes are way too expensive to buy (the price goes over the money level cap... >>). However, you'll be able to get a Bike very soon. There's a shop named Sweet Scent, which sells Berries and other flowery related items. Sweet Scent: Honey - 1000 Oran Berry - 200 Rose Incense - 9600 Floral Charm* - 1500 Sachet - 1000 Pokesnax - 400 *Floral Charm is another Reborn-exclusive item used for some Pokemon/Item events. I recommend getting two of these, as there are two events that use it. Also, this lady in the shop will give you a Wailmer Pail, although there won't be any berry patches for a while... And lastly in this shop, the woman at the back counter will let you do a Spritzee tile puzzle, similar to the Swirlix one in Sweet Kiss. As your reward, you will get a free Spritzee! The puzzle should look like this, and like the Swirlix puzzle, if it doesn't end immediately as it should, you might want to try rotating the corner pieces. (Lv. 15) Spritzee becomes a decent special wall with Calm Mind, with very nice moves such as Aromatherapy, Draining Kiss, and Misty Terrain. However, it's pretty slow and isn't too great on the physically defensive side. In one of the northern apartments, there is a Move Tutor who will teach your starter Pokemon one of the Pledge moves for some shards, which you could find randomly lying around. Lapis Ward Pledge Tutor: Fire Pledge - 3 Red Shards Water Pledge - 3 Blue Shards Grass Pledge - 3 Green Shards By the way, in Reborn, the Pledge moves now work when used in consecutive turns, as well as during the same turn. This can be helpful if you ever want to create the Burning Field, the Swamp Field, or the Rainbow Field! The next area that isn't story related (yet - you'll have to do this eventually) is another Alley. This is the Aqua Gang Alley! Like the Magma Gang, there are some wild Pokemon: Lapis Alley: Encounters: There's no new encounters on land, like in the North Obsidia Alley, but you can find Liepards here instead of training up a Purrloin. If you talk to the Grunts, they will ask if you want to join. You can accept and join the Aqua Gang, or decline and go back to the North Obsidia Alley and join the Magma Gang. Again, however, joining the Aqua Gang will give you earlier rewards, which is why I recommend it. Although... if your Pokemon are more suited to fighting Water types than Fire types, perhaps that's enough incentive to join the Magma Gang, as you'll have to fight Aqua Gangsters if you join Magma and vice versa. No matter which gang you choose, the two gangsters blocking the Alley will fight you if you want to join them. After beating them, they will let you in! If you go back, the gangsters in the other alley will tell you to get lost. Also, after doing that, if you go a bit south of the North Obsidia Alley, a member of the opposite gang will fight you, saying that he paid for a very rare prize. The Magikarp event continues! However, he says someone from your gang stole it from him already! If you go back to Lapis, where an Aqua Gangster and a Magma Gangster used to be fighting, the one from your gang will remain. However, he said he already sold it off at 7th Street... ...And that's the last of the Magikarp event for quite a while. Sorry, but you'll have to wait for a while before you can continue the OP Pokemon quest. Anyway, if you joined the Aqua Gang, on windy nights there will be a Murkrow that will battle you. You won't be able to access this if you joined the Magma Gang until after the next Gym battle. (Lv. 25) Egg Moves: Perish Song, Brave Bird, Roost Murkrow is an incredible Pokemon with Prankster Tailwind and Perish Song, if you get that egg move. When it evolves, it becomes a very nice powerhouse with Dark Pulse and Brave Bird. It's not too fast, though... Talk to your boss and he will say that their gang used to be like Robin Hood and his thieves, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. However, another gang came and started to steal from their targets, ruining their gang's reputation. He invites you to join them, as they are going on a raid at night, and you should meet them at the empty building over here when it's dark... When you enter, your boss will debrief you on the mission: The opposite gang is planning on striking a rich hag's house to steal a Pokemon and are going to pin the blame on your gang, so you guys are going to steal the Pokemon before they do! The person in question is Mrs. Craudberry, whose house is towards the south of Lapis Ward. Craudburry's house is this one: Enter it, and one of your Gangsters will have already taken care of Craudburry. You'll have to go into the back room and fight two members of the opposing gang. After that, take the two Items on the desk. Don't feel bad for stealing these items; you'll see Craudburry's true personality later on in the story. If you joined the Aqua Gang, the rewards will be a Fire Stone and a Ponyta. If you joined the Magma Gang, the rewards will be a Water Stone and a Buizel. (Lv. 25) OR (Lv. 25) Both Ponyta and Buizel are very fast, and they can deal some decent damage. Their level up movepools aren't too great coverage-wise, but they can be nice members on your team. Buizel is also nifty for helping get Aqua Jet on Azurill, if you want that. After that, go back to your boss and he'll praise your for your work. He says to keep the stuff you looted from Craudburry and that they might have another job for you in the future (being after the next Gym battle). Now, if you go back to Craudburry's house after this whole incident, she'll be talking to a Police Officer and recognize you as one of the thieves who broke into her house. However, the Police Officer will say that you don't look like a criminal and that you aren't part of their records of the gang members, or if you saved the Police Officers, that you have helped the Police before. Craudburry will start cursing at the Police and Reborn City as a result. After leaving, the Officer will stop you and say not to worry since you aren't actually a suspect. He'll give you a Bike Voucher to make up for that incident, saying that he would've given it to his daughter, but... she didn't survive the Beryl Ward attack... If you bring that to the Bike Shop, the man will give you a Bike. ...That was a slightly depressing tale, but at least you can now zoom throughout Reborn City? I'd register it as a Key Item, for easy access. The last thing available in Lapis Ward is another Sticker Quest. In this house next to the Pokemart, a woman will be panicking and will ask for you to find her missing son. When it's windy, he can be found near the Power Plant to the east of Beryl Bridge. A Drifloon will be there, and he will ask you to fight the Drifloon which kidnapped him. (Lv. 20) Drifloon gets nice offensive stats, Speed, and HP when it evolves, but its defensive stats are sadly very poor. It also doesn't have too great of a movepool, as it doesn't even get a good Flying STAB, but it can get some nice supportive moves from breeding like Destiny Bond. He'll say thank you and that he will head home. However, he won't be there, and his mother will continue to worry. You'll find him in Jasper now, near the Beryl Gate, where a Police Man used to be trapped. This time, you'll have to fight two Venipedes and one Scolipede in a Trainer Battle similar to the Scraggy Gang. Finally, after that, he'll really go back home, and his mother will give you a Sticker as a thank you. With that done, you can now go to the fourth floor of the Department Store! Department Store, Floor 4: Consumable Items and Special 1 Air Balloon - 400 White Herb - 1000 Mental Herb - 1000 Power Herb - 1000 Absorb Bulb - 1200 Snowball - 1000 Cell Battery - 1300 Smoke Ball - 2150 Destiny Knot - 8000 Power Weight - 15000 Power Bracer - 15000 Power Belt - 15000 Power Anklet - 15000 Power Lens - 15000 Power Band - 15000 TM 48 Round - 9000 There's not much that's super useful for the first part of this floor. I guess the Air Balloon could be useful against the Ground Gym Leader, the Absorb Bulb could be useful against the Water Gym Leader, the Snowball could be useful against the Ice Gym Leader, and the Cell Battery could be useful for a future mono-Electric type trainer. White Herb might be good if you have a self stat-lowering move like Overheat or Leaf Storm, and Power Herb could be useful if you have something like Solarbeam. These are all very situational, though. Unfortunately, there's no Focus Sashes despite being consumable items. :[ The Smoke Ball is a very helpful item if you just want to run away from things without using Repels. The Destiny Knot is an amazing tool for breeding (again, check the Breeding Guide if you'd like help on that topic) and the Power Items are great for EV Training (although unfortunately there's no Macho Brace, rip). Anyway, next part, I guess we'll finally check back on Victoria and Shelly...
  17. Part 11 posted! List updated (donate pics pls), and for Part 12, Under the Grand Stairway, the Orphanage, and Shelly will be covered.
  18. I think you mean E15, as E16 hasn't come out yet ;] Anyway, Emolga would probably be better than Swanna, since Swanna isn't too great offensively. In my opinion, though, Crobat outclasses it, as Emolga won't be too great in the future as the Gym Leaders are actually EV Trained and stuff. You seem to use a lot of physical attackers, so I'd use Magnezone as a special attacker. It's very bulky and strong~
  19. I don't believe there's any Pokemon that has a different leveling rate from its evolution(s), so yes, it's the same.
  20. can i kill those krabbys and fry them
  21. Welcome back, Crow. Hope you enjoy your stay at Reborn!
  22. Short update: It's winter, so I decide to catch the Pokemon I missed back in Undella Bay. It's... harder than I thought, as Frillish kept appearing instead of Spheal or Remoraid... But I do manage to catch them! Nemesis might get Water Spout + a very high HP, but that's pretty much all it has going for, in my opinion. Although it does get Dive from level up, very soon after it evolves... Persephone is a step up from Demeter, which is why I'll be using her over my precious Dewgong. It's fairly bulky and has decent offensive stats on both side, which is nice, I guess. Wish I could get that Lapras though... Nike has Sniper, which can make her very strong! Unfortunately, this isn't Gen 6, where a Scope Lens and a Focus Energy boost will always give you crits - that's actually only a 33.3% chance in Gen 5. Still, she gets very nice moves like Fire Blast, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, etc., so I'll replace Artemis for her (Sorry Artemis :[). After doing my daily routine in Join Avenue, bumping it up to level 4, I also decide to evolve a few of the Pokemon in my box that still have yet to evolve, being P.B., Morpheus, and Hephaestus. Nike and Persephone also evolve, although I haven't touched Nemesis yet, as she'll take longer. There's nothing really to note about Marine Tube. Before taking on the Humilau Gym, I explore Route 22 and Route 21, as well as do everything up to the Crustle in Seaside Cave, since I can't get past that without getting the Colress Machine. I find the TM for Toxic, which I teach to Hera. Humilau Gym is fairly easy with Nike's Bullet Seed and Hera's Energy Ball spam. Persephone evolves after fighting a random Trainer. Anyway, Marlon is also a fairly simple fight. Nike almost takes out Carracoasta with Bullet Seed, and surprisingly, Carracoasta uses Crunch over Shell Smash. He tries to heal, but Nike uses two Bullet Seeds and takes it out. I send out Aphrodite against his Wailord and use Toxic. It uses Dive, and since I'm faster, I decide to spam Fly while he spams Dive. Aphrodite never gets hit while Wailord faints. He sends out his ace, Jellicent, and I decide to stay in and use Toxic. I spam Fly again, and his Ominous Winds are not enough to take out Aphrodite before he faints to Toxic damage, winning me the Wave Badge! I also finally get the TM for Scald, which I teach to Hera. After healing up, I decide to test my luck and try getting a Corsola from the rippling water! And... this time it's Jellicent spam. Nice. It takes a while until I do find a Corsola, but Persephone crits it and I have to find another one. Hecate is a pretty bad Pokemon, with terrible stats. I got Natural Cure instead of Regenerator on her, sadly... She might get some nice Rock type moves, but Nike already has Bullet Seed (and usable stats), so she'll go into the box. With all that done, next part, I'll go through Giant Chasm and possibly get the last two obtainable Pokemon I need in the Water Dex (although it's unlikely because RNG refuses to give me a Lapras)~
