  1. might not work on this till summer oops rip finals haha The revival! Again, feel free to suggest a game, because this is a community WIP (but please put it in the pros (+) / cons (-) format the others are in; it's really simple and saves more time for me)! But before we begin... So that's a big no-no. Onto the list! PROJECT SHOWCASE: For those playable games on the Reborn forums that have been exceptionally well received. Pokemon Rejuvenation Pokemon Desolation Pokemon Spork PROGRESSING PROJECTS SHOWCASE: For those games on the Reborn forums that are still in a development phase, but have shown significant progress and promise. Symphonic Horizon Pokemon Xenogene
  2. make cacturne less gallade-like and more on-schedule >:c also more non-singles redemption tours pls!! doubles / triples would be nice, especially triples since all of the b1 leaders use triples. and if you could make redemption 1v1s or battle spot singles a thing c:
  3. why doesn't magearna learn toxic???

    1. Cobalt996

      Cobalt996

      Because it doesn't meme.

  4. Yep, you'd have to sign up! You don't necessarily have to participate, although it would be nice if you did since the card-making staff are very busy creating them and adding badges to them! And even if you're not a competitive person, who knows, you might get a couple of badges! I thought I wasn't that great competitively last season, but I played for fun, and I ended up getting 16 badges! (Although, some of those were lucky wins...) Thank you~ Also added previous brackets of season 1 if anyone was interested. Might have an error or two, and I don't think I put the leaders in their exact order in their brackets, but w/e.
  5. ok can someone please unpin all the redemption league threads from victory road now that I've compiled (probably) all of them here? tyvm also they all should be in the redemption league subforum >:C although that's kinda tedious and unnecessary so w/e
  6. For convenience's sake (and to get rid of all those pinned Redemption League threads in Victory Road), I've compiled a list of all the threads from Seasons 1 and 2 in case you wanted to see them again! lmk if I missed anything. Note that most of these threads are old and/or archived (especially Season 1 threads), and so posting in them probably will give you a warning or a warning point! 7. give desolation sub-forum or riot tbh Desolation probably needs one soon or by version 5, with how much is already in the game. I mean, this thread is already even bigger than Rejuvenation's original thread o-o anyway I'm not sure what happened to my old save file on my old Mac (rip) so it'll probably take me a while to replay the game (goodbye completionist save data; I had every Pokemon available in v3 caught too T-T), but I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us and making emily and connor my waifu and husbando respectively! hopefully version 5 doesn't take too long and good luck~
  8. o didn't see this before but GRATS XIRIIIII AND ZUMIIIIII AND NJABBBBB!! you'll all do well for sure!
  9. Gen V - I really love Unova, for its cities (Nimbasa! Castelia!), its story, and its features like Pokestar Studios! I also really liked the idea of continuing the plot with a sequel (which was done in Gen 2 technically, but that started in a different region from Kanto >:c), although B2W2's plot was somewhat weaker than its predecessors, but Memory Link was really cool! And even though people hate it for its "trashy" Pokemon designs, I find myself drawn to many of the Gen 5 Pokemon, like Scrafty or Cinccino or Sigilyph! Gen VII - I felt that Alola was a refreshing break from the traditional games of fighting Gyms. The ideas of Trials, the games' difficulty, features like PokePelago, Poke Finder (especially after Pokemon Snap), and Poke Ride, and Lusamine (who is also the first female villain woo) were all great, although I wish they made the plot just a bit less subtle. The only thing I really dislike about Gen VII is the Pokemon - I find most of them pretty bland, and there aren't many in the first place. Gen IV - Sinnoh was my first game, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Sinnoh was one of my favorite regions design wise, I love practically every Pokemon design, especially the lore of Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus, the music is great, and Cynthia is one of my favorite Pokemon characters! I also love the postgame, especially of Stark Mountain. My only complaint is with Team Galactic, although I didn't think they were the absolute worst villains. Gen II - 2 regions in one game! I really liked the idea of getting to explore Kanto once again. And Team Rocket's cool, I guess. That's pretty much all I really have to say... Gen III - OK, so while I absolutely love some of Hoenn's Pokemon, Secret Bases, and some of Hoenn's places (like Fortree and New Mauville in ORAS), I really despise Team Aqua and Magma. Well, I don't hate them, but I hate their goals. How does anyone think that summoning an extremely strong Legendary and using its power to alter the world without any way to stop them if they potentially went uncontrollable a good idea??? also i really hate that ocean current route Gen I - ...I've never actually played them. Oops. But again, Team Rocket's cool, I guess? Gen VI - While Kalos has some of the greatest Pokemon designs ever, its plotline is just really bad... I do not understand Lysandre at all, and like Lusamine, he shouldn't have been such an obvious villain before he was revealed (although Lusamine gets a pass because I just love her design and development). And I wish the Gym Leaders actually did things rather than stay in their Gyms and wait for you, especially after BW. There's also the lack of a post-game besides the Looker Foundation, which is also present in SM, but I'm hoping SM's sequels will change that.
  10. if you (or anyone else tbh) want to build more doubles/triples teams, here's some things I remember from season 1: Electric Doubles / Triples: Discharge + Lightningrod / Motor Drive / Volt Absorb Grass Doubles / Triples: Sunny Day Whimsicott + lots of Chlorophyll Ice Triples: Blizz spam (honestly I don't think there'd be much of a difference from the Ice Doubles you posted, except add more Blizzard idek) Water Triples: Mat Block Greninja + Shell Smashers or Follow Me Blastoise + Shell Smashers ( + Wide Guard Mantine?) Rock Triples: Trick Room Solrock/Lunatone/Carbink (also Helen liked using level 2 sturdy probopass with berry juice iirc) Dragon Doubles: ...I forgot but I'm pretty sure Ninia mainly fought in Doubles; idk what she used though ofc leaders probably won't just reuse their old strategies and will most definitely use Megas + Gen 7 stuff, but hey, these are for practice after all!
  11. nope, leaders are free to switch anything they want (besides their ace ofc, but they can switch their ace's moveset, item, etc.) Ice? Fairy? Ghost? idk tbh with gen 7 stuff + Megas
  12. well, the leaders are ranked by their capability and success rates, and electric/grass are considered some of the worse monotypes (especially w/o legendaries for electric, rip Tapu Koko and Zapdos) and plus they were first and second last season too so ye although i was hoping Olivia went up a bit since she has Megas (cough Venusaur) to abuse now but oh well
  13. haha finals week kms

  14. :c cya ody o7 even though we don't really talk much anymore (mainly bc I'm not very active), will miss you and your advice during redemption + random battles with you have fun on your trip!! and i'll def beat redemption this season (probably) (hopefully) (maybe)
  15. ok back for round 2 probably be the most basic version of the team I'll be using, but ofc I'll be switching things around like Megas and speed IVs and whatnot changes made: - Mandibuzz > Conkeldurr - I need a Ground immunity for EQ spam + I felt like a bulky Toxic Pokemon could be useful since p2 doesn't have that anymore, so yeah. too bad I can't fit brave birb on it but o well - Scizor: Superpower > Defog - Mandibuzz has Defog now, so I gave Scizor Superpower to be able to do something against Steel (unlike last season >>). Against Swords Dance bc of U-Turn, but idk - Chandy: Still dunno what to do for the last moveslot - I'll probably be Choicing Chandy for most battles, so Trick could be useful (especially against things like Clef), but as Cyanna suggested HP Ice gives me coverage against Dragon (nice bc I don't have Pixilate Hyper Voice anymore), and while weak, Clear Smog is nice for hazing (and I could switch Dragon Tail for Dragon Claw on Garchomp, giving it a nice STAB without negative priority). And again Trick Room is always an option :> zzz thoughts? also wonder if I should give Primarina HP Fire > Energy Ball for Grass types, although that means less coverage against Water types
  16. ASDFGHJKL WHY IS FESTUS BACK also is that leo I see in the background can't recognize any of the other ones though :c
  17. ok so I was rebuilding my old team since I got p far with it last season and this is what I came up with keep in mind that I'm really bad at teambuilding and I have no idea what's good competitively anymore another trick room team, basically tried to replace Talonflame and Sylveon (and then Reuniclus). What I like about this is I get to switch between Mega Chomp and Mega Scizor! not sure about what to do for Chandy's last slot. also a bit iffy on Conkeldurr, but I dunno a better thing to replace it with just realized, I don't have anything immune to EQ which might be problematic in doubles with Garchomp, but again, I'm not good at teambuilding I also had teams that used different Pokemon (e.g. Granbull, Jellicent, Hydreigon, Infernape, Togekiss, Clefable, Rotom-W, Alola Marowak, M-Heracross) but I didn't really know what how to finish without finding big holes in them sooo Help is definitely appreciated thanks!!
  18. just wanted to say that this is beautiful zumi <333 also love the legendary birbs, white rats, perry the psyduck, and fossils; good work and can't wait to see the rest of the shinies~
