Soft reseting to get good/decent IV event pokemon: you can save before each event pokemon(leave a blank spot in your team so you can directly check the event pokemon stats). soft reset if you get a event pokemon which has bad IV. Nature of the pokemon does not matter since you can change it later on in the game. Ditto: you only get 1 ditto in the game so save and soft reset to get the best ditto possible. A good ditto is good for breeding. Breeding Tip: If you are planning to breed pokemon which have low % of female(starters/fossil/togepi) get a female fossil/starter. soft reset until you get a female as it would be harder/ takes luck to get a female from breeding. Field changing pokemon: It is always good to carry a pokemon which can change/clear the field effects. Pokemon which learn mist/misty terrain/grassy terrain/electric terrain are awesome to have since they can change the field to your advantage and these move change the field 100% of the time.

General tips about pick up pokemons: Always have a team of pick up pokemon. 5-7 pokemon with pick up. why 5-7 because 2 will go into day care while the other 5 follow you when you are grinding/EV training. Always train your to the next tier, according to the pick up table and your lvl cap.For example your lvl cap right now is 65 train your pick up mons to lvl 61.there no point training them higher since at lvl 61 the item the pokemon pick up "upgrades" and the next teir unlocks at lvl 71 which is past your lvl cap. Before heading off to Agate dump 2 pokemon with pick up abilities into the day care since you wont be able to go back to reborn city for awhile also it is best that they are lvl 65.It is always good to have a pick pokemon which is higher lvls when you reach the end of the game. plus you do not have to grind them 2 pick up pokemons since it think by the time you get back to reborn city they should be around lvl 70+ depending on how many steps you take. Meowth is the best pick up+ pokedollar farmer because meowth has payday. but now a days you dont need to farm much since you can easily get pokedollars from re battling the trainers at grand hall or the clowns in agate.

well most eevee comes with charm if you spam breed them since it learn it by lvl up and charm is 1 of eevee egg moves. Eevee also learns baby doll eyes at lvl 9 just avoid learning that move since it is a fairy move and like what most people said eevee evolve to sylveon when it knows a fairy move and have max friendship. To get espeon just go to the move deleter and delete charm or any other fairy type moves you have on the particular eevee you wanna make into espeon.

Fire type and ice type eh okie gonna list you the sets and some good fire and ice types you can consider adding into you team. if you wanna find out where you can get each pokemon just head over ----> HERE<---- ok now for the mons you can consider adding. Special Attack Fire types Physical Atk Fire Types Special Attack Ice Types Physical Attack Ice Types

perish song kricketune(yes i over lvled it in the day care by accident in my first run ever) and for most of my other runs i use either destiny bond or sturdy+counter.
-
well i wont evolve treeko until he learns E.Ball and Giga drain for free without tm but you already have a grovyle so yeah. you also do not need a hm slave in your team as in reborn you can delete HMs anytime anywhere. well idk what boss fight if taka is in them a soundproof loudred will deal with his chatot and if it is ZEL+ Taka just focus down the eeveelutions by adding in a fighting type into your team hariyama/pancham/mankey. i would go for hariyama since it is bulky and can deal tons of dmg. you can catch a makuhita at the obsidia slums but it is kinda rare.

Pokemon Reborn: Ask Your Questions: Quests, Pokemon/Item Locations, and Other Information
Luna replied to The Fush's question in On the Hunt
this videos by lostelle should help you solve the web puzzle You will need honey. Tim Tim and Etesian already said where to get em with money but if you have a pokemon with honey gather(teddiursa and combee) u can get it for free but it takes time. -
if you want a copy of episode 9 here you go: idk if the link still works so just try it out if you really want episode 9 to get magikarp. well if you want magikarp by yourself you will have to restart the game if u triggered the event where you paid the fisherman some money to buy a mon but it got stollen by a thug and they were working together to get more money from you ect ect. if all else fail u can always trade a pokemon at the thread steffo posted above. WARNING: if you are going back to episode 9 you must do this 1)put all gen 6 pokemon into the Pc and do not open the PC 2) Save inside a pokemon center( anywhere indoors which is not in pre agate area will do)
-
you can get magikarp in episode 9. you cant get it after episode 9 it was axed at episode 10
-
well 31 and 21 dose not really make much of a difference unless it is 0 vs 31. so i would keep and use that shiny zorua. You can also try and spam breed more zorua since with shiny charm and the increased rate of getting a shiny would be easy. also nature does not matter since there is a psychologist to change the nature of your pokemon in reborn.
-
oh well since you like cyndaquil. hmm well other mons which are rarely used maybe prolly chikorita(azurine island after Aya) and piplup(7th street) as a non starter since there are way better water and grass mons at the point where they can be obtain. Hmm other than that i think buizel/Floatzel is kinda rarely used since people would go join aqua gang since catching a carvanha in the wild would require a good rod while you can get houndour easily after you liberate the magma gang hideout.
-
no starting with cyndaquil. you must start with either tepig/chikorita/oshawott/treeko/piplup these 5 starters rarely get picked cyndaquil on the other hand gets picked most of the time. if you really want the most under used pokemon in reborn it would 100% be chikorita cause chikorita is 100% the "best" starter.

Ice: I would go for Mamoswine. Mamoswine is awesome at sweeping and if you want a physical atk ice type Electric: Heiolisk. since he can learn most of the TMs and HMs available in game and learn decent electric type moves like thunder, thunderbolt, volt switch Bug: Escavalier why because his typing make it that he is just weak to fire all you have to worry about is fire types and if you vs 1 you can swap it out for Typhlosion Fairy:Gardevoir who does not want a shiny gardevoir looks so awesome and is a decent fairy type. Dark: Zoroark. If you need a good special sweeper which tricks people zoroark can be fun to use. well that all for now i have more suggestions but lets keep it short for now unless you want more.
-
well i only care about the IVs of a ditto cause with a good IV ditto u can get a bunch of other good IV pokemon. for reborn i generally soft reset until i get a pokemon with decent IV in the stats they use. decent IV= 20+ Points.

Which pokemon shouldn't be in that Team? Which should? :)
Luna replied to Solor's topic in Team Showcase
Maybe Mienshao would be a good fit it hits like a truck with HJK+Reckless. hmm other physical attackers maybe medicham since it has Elemental punches+ good physical attack psychic and fighting moves and pure power makes it hit hard but the problem with medicham is its speed is not that great. Scrafty is a safe choice since it is kinda tanky and has the elemental punches+DD but its speed is just low. If you want a sweeper i would go for mienshao. if you want a tanky set up sweeper go for Scrafty and if u just wanna do dmg go for medicham. -
just head over to this thread -----> HERE <----- Bah ninjaed byCyloom

hmm well i have to agree with the rest on luxray being the weakest link in the team. Also sceptile can be replaced if you want there are better grass types. Well here is what i would do to make your current team better without replacing anyone: Well if you want to replace luxray here is a list of electric type you can consider using Special Attack Electric type Physical Attack Electric type Also if you want to replace sceptile with a better grass type here is a list of grass types you can consider using: Special Attack grass types Physical attack Grass types well that all i think hope it helps. -
no problem glad to help oh and i would spam kill sundays trainers cause the doubles couple gives a bunch of poke dollars good for farming poke dollars and they give a bit more exp i think cause they have chansey and venusaur.
-
well first off grab the exp share at spinel town than go back to grand hall and spam battle the trainers there if you wanna EV train Excadrill/Hippo i left a list of places to Ev train below. Also a video by lostelle on how to get the exp share.Hope this helps Video: Speed Attack Sp.Atk Def Sp Def HP

hmm before going to agate breed/prepare a team to beat the next four leaders(Samson,Charlotte,Terra and Ciel). leave 2 pokemon with pick up ability which are the same gender in the day care so they wont make eggs and just lvl up. so you can use them after you complete the episode when Ev training/grinding and what not.Having a lvl 100 pokemon with pick up an come in handy. oh also train up the 2 pokemon with pick up to the lvl cap than dump them in the day care.
-
hmm a swoobat with simple ability and CM should be useful and a good replacement for meowstic M. Anyways what is stopping you from making a sub team of oped mons. Also you can put in gardevoir/Escavalier/Mamoswine/Archeops to replace onix. Acheops can be gotten earlier at spinel museum if you did the side quest before beating pulse abra but if you missed it i guess no point in mentioning Acheops cause you wont be able to get it until the end of the game.
-
well the team is not that bad but you can make some improvements if you want. Gonna list down the move set you should put and the best nature for each pokemon you have. i would get a better water, electric and fire type. yes i know empoleon is your starter and all but empoleon is not that great without TMs so i m gonna list down some alternative water types you can consider using below. Jolteon is fast but the problem with it is it can't do much without move tutor and the right TMs. you can put hidden power to cover up this problem but that takes breeding and it consumes time since you will have to breed for a shiny eevee which is even harder trust me, i m doing that right now and it is taking ages. so you might as well replace jolteon with a electric type whic can function with what Tm and move tutor currently available in reborn. Also i wonder why you made a shiny jolteon instead of a shiny glaceon, glaceon is awesome and cute. glaceon ftw!! Well houndoom is not that great as a fire type if you run him with a physical move set since it cannot learn flare blitz. There are better physical atk fire type and special atk fire type than houndoom. Ok now for the list: Special Attack water type Physical Attack Water types Special Attack Electric type Physical Attack Electric type Special Attack Fire types Physical Attack Fire type @Anddew Please do not thread rob a person make your own post or post ----> Here <---- if you need help

meh yes mist can change the field. i already wrote what to do but since i guess you did not understand i will list it in Turn. Turn 1: Piloswine uses mist and Noctowl uses refelct Turn 2: Piloswine uses EQ and Noctowl focus/ kill anything which is left behind with confusion Turn 3: Repeat what you did for turn 2 Turn 4: Repeat what you did in turn 2 Turn 5: Repeat what you did in turn 2 Turn 6: Piloswine uses mist again and noctowl focus anything which is low hp Turn 7: repeat what you did in turn 2 well you can use ampharos with air balloon if you want to use ampharos as the field changer instead of piloswine/swagsire. you can get air balloon by now if you collected most of the department store stickers.
-
well you can actually go back i think go back to reborn city and breed a houndoom with destiny bond. yeah it might take sometime to back track and go back to reborn city. That what i would do and put on a focus sash since i think houndoom cant outspeed the ditto arceus.
