hmm well the team seem nice lets list down what mons you can have before each gym On a side not just a strong reminder please do not forget to start the spinel museum event before pulse abra do not kill pulse abra until you get plume fossil if not you will not have archen until you finish the whole run( unless you have a copy of ep 14 and can go back to revive plume fossil you get from agate). i rather get acheops early because archeops is so useful.Other than that good luck and have fun with the run.

joltik cant learn thunder no mater what even if you use the electabuzz>volbeat>joltik chain because joltik cant learn thunder only galvantula can learn thunder. But.. you can use that chain to make joltik to learn thunderbolt. Yeah the down side of this is it cant get energy ball. but yeah what is the use of galvantula having thunderbolt. Electabuzz(thunderbolt)>Volbeat>Joltik @jameslfc Rk9 can not learn moonlight but it can have morning sun i think you meant morning sun since that is the egg move for Rk9

decent water and flying eh. you can choose between the 2 gen 5 fossil. which is archen and tirtouga. i would go for archen. you can get plume fossil by doing the spinal museum event. Go in spinal museum at night and you would see 2 meteor grunt which talking to an old man/the museum owner. talk to the grunts, the grunts will run away and next talk the the museum owner. after speaking to the museum owner go to tarzan mountain and find the two grunts and battle them in a 2v2 battle. Than after you beat them go back to spinel museum and talk to the museum owner again and he will give u either a cover or plume fossil. Pick plume fossil for archen and head to the top of the museum to revive the fossil. Now i m not really sure how this spinel museum side quest event start but i know if you complete the pulse abra the event wont start so do this event before you beat the pulse abra. As for a good water types here is a list of water types you can consider Physical Attack Water Type Special Attack water type

hmm team seem ok but i would rather use a medicham rather than a gallade. medcham with pure power is just way better than a gallade. i would have made a gardevoir but oh well whats done is done. Swana can be replaced, porygon can also be replaced. Also you dont need to grind in the wilds just head back to the grad hall and just whack what ever trainer u see there since you can rebattle them again and again. Ok now for things you can consider adding into your team the list is kinda long so gonna put it in a spoiler tag. Ok here is the list

yeah you can only get 1 ditto per run. as i said earlier you can always trade. I m sure someone wants your mystery egg mon or something. just make a post here-->clicky . A ditto with 3iv which is 30+ is kinda awesome. yeah to breed perfect iv the first 1 takes time but it is worth it
-
you can always ask for a trade, i m sure people would have breed a bunch of 3-6 IV eevee since most people want a perfect IV shiny Eevee well not everyone but yeah i m sure people are willing to trade away their Eevee breeding rejects. Also if you want to breed a prefect IV mons, i would start with breeding seed pokemons. seed pokemons are pokemons which are in 2 different types of egg groups, say monster+field ect ect. Event mons are the best to get good IVs because you can just soft reset to get good iv but since you are kinda at the end of the game there are limited/maybe no more event pokemons. Anyway the list of pokemons you should breed for seed pokemons is below. There are a lot of pokemon in the Field egg group so breeding a seed from the field group is the easiest.
-
Well you can also go with heliolisk. heliolisk is awesome in a sun team and it has decent speed/sp atk/ sp def. it learns volt switch/Thunder/thunderbolt by itself without using any tm what so ever. you can teach it dark pulse and grass knot for coverage later on since dark pulse and grass knot are tm you can get in reborn.
-
hehe i only use murkrow to kill bosses with perish song since murkrow has prankster ability XD. other than that i would save the dusk stone for either chandelure or Aegislash. kinda not worth using it on a murkrow.
-
i would go for ampharos. well since you can get mareep quite early and you can get ampharos fast cause by lvl 30 you can already have an ampharos. plus ampharos is in the monster and field egg group much easier to breed because there a lot of monster and field egg group pokemon available in reborn. plus mareep is a good seed pokemon for breeding since most strong and good pokemon are in the field egg group and monster egg group. yes ampharos speed is not that high but it is tanky and can take hits. also its move pool is quite awesome. it has good coverage without using Tm. meh totally wrong you can't chain breed thunder to galvantula as joltik cannot learn thunder. you can only Chain breed energy ball to joltik. Also you do not need 12 badges to chain breed, you just need to go back to episode 12 the guild is here---> Clicky so this means there is no way galvantula can get thunder thus making compound eves+ thunder combo useless. Magnezone is good but it has more weakness than a pure electric type like either Eelektross and Ampharos but it can deal with those annoying fairy types since it has the steel typing and steel moves like flash cannon. Eelektross technically has no weakness unless you use a mold breaker excadrill or any pokemon with mold breaker and a ground type move. it is not as tanky as Ampharos.
-
you can revert to episode 14 and get litleo from trade and a oped as hell vulpix for fire mono run XD also you can get slugma at the arcade with 1000 coins. well you can try swapping the date when using episode 14 instead of episode 15 might work. idk my weather changed in the middle of the week when i swapped from episode 12 to 15.
-
woobat/swoobat gets calm mind at lvl 29. Also i wont go for butterfree. i only use butterfree as a compound eyes bot to get items from wild pokemon other than that i would never ever use a butterfree. its stats are meh and its typing is just bad. Kricketune is good for early game and boss killing before u get access to murkrow with prankster+ perish song. kricketue has perish song at lvl 50. but you can always use destiny bond to kill bosses easy and kinda faster. technician on kricketune will certainly help you until 4th gym or 5th gym. fell stinger with technician is just awesome tons of atk boost if u use fell stinger to finish.
-
well there are 3 water types in the mystery egg event. so 3/16 chance to get a water type XD from mystery egg or u can just swap to an older episode and get azurill 100%. Also you cant soft reset until you get what you want from mystery egg cause mystery egg is already determined at the start of the game.
-
Wow you reached route 1 with just 4 core pokemon, very very impressive. meh this shows how oped blaziken is XD well if you want good water types here is a list of water types which are good. first off head over to this breeding guide. it will show you how to pass TM to pokemon via breeding in episode 12 of pokemon reborn Special atk water types: On a side note most special atk water types are not obtainable early i will mark those you can get by adding (obtainable) beside their names. i wont be telling the location and how to get them you can just head over to this thread to find out how to get them. physical atk water type
-
grand hall. the trainers there can be battled over and over again
-
well i would train up the goldeen as a goldeen with lightning rod would certainly be very useful against Sigmund's team when and if you vs but that is kinda far and the other water types you can get early are finneon and lotad if it is raining and if you reach coral ward. After flobot(grass gym) and corey than you can get another water type i think. you can add a flying type a woobat with simple is just very useful. cause simple+calm mind is just awesome. plus woobat can be useful in getting rid of the mist in coral ward when vsing cain and corey(poison gym) by using gust.

will-O-wisp + hex = 130 bp hex. way better than a shadow ball but it takes 1 turn to set up. unless you are sure that you wont get 2 hit or if you using chandelure when vsing physical attackers which chandelure can resist(fighthing, fire, normal, grass, steel, bug, fairy, poison, ice). but yeah as Etesian said if you wanna run hex you will need a pokemon to set up toxic spikes. it best way cause you dont have to waste chandelure turn cause chandelure can just come in after the toxic spiker dies or if the toxic spiker have baton pass or something maybe eject button. well you can roserade have access to toxic spike you can use roserade to set up toxic spikes. well the best toxic spikes set up would be from a Scolipede since it has the speed boost ability and baton pass. it would make your chandelure faster due to the 1 or 2 speed boost you get when setting up toxic spikes but the problem here is u will have to breed for toxic spikes. I would put hp grass so it can deal with ground, water and rock type pokemon. but if you head over to Mr Etesian guide you can breed a chandelure with energy ball why bother wasting time trying to get the perfect iv for a hp ground/hp grass.when you can just slap on a energy ball on chandelure. unless you want perfect iv that is hard and would take time in episode 12 as episode 12 does not have the destiny knot which gives 5 iv from both parents but instead the destiny knot just gives 3.iv. i would not even bother with iv as long as they are not single digit it is ok i guess. I would run chandelure with this move set: Cindy(chandelure) Ability: Flash Fire Nature:Timid Energy ball Flamethrower Shadow ball/hex( hex if you are running a toxic spiker) Psychic/hp fighting As i said energy ball hit SE on rock, ground and water type. psychic is to handle poison and fighting types. well you can go modest nature but i prefer timid nature for the out speeds. With energy ball and psychic chandelure almost have perfect coverage except against dark types. so if you wanna play the hp game i would run hp fighting instead of psychic to handle those dark types.By running hp fighting you can have full coverage as in you hit everything with either SE or NE.

gratz on completing flying high and soaring with the flying mono run. also nice and detail analysis of the mons used. it should help others who are gonna try doing a flying mono run.
-
the best grass starter is chikorita #chikorita will kill everything the best grass starter is either snivy with contrary or a turtwig( you dont need any special ability on him). turtwig is good because it has a good spread of moves that it learns by itself without needing any TM. well in reborn most of the oped TM are not in the game yet and the move tutors do not have the oped/over used moves. but yeah you can always go back to episode 12 to breed TM moves to a mon all that is in this guide here Also i wont start with the starters which can be obtained in gave via in game events. Turtwig, chikorita and chespin. well i would still start with turtwig as he is just an awesome grass type starter to me and the way to get him is kinda hard that slide puzzle omg it kills brain cells.
-
@JP1408 Catch a dark type and grind in grand hall. a good dark type for shades gym is mightyena as it learn a lot of dark moves early. i would train you other mons to lvl 40 and lower your lvl of your charizard as a charizard which does not obey u would be useless. you can buy common candy to lower the level of charizard after you other pokemon in grand hall. grand hall has trainers which you can re battle again and again.
-
well remove noibat and replace him with woobat with simple ability. you can add in espurr/meowstick if it is male because female meowstick is just not so useful later on in the game. plus woobat and meowstick can help with poison gym and cain. At some point you will have to replace butterfree as butterfree will just be useless. well you can replace butterfree with a water type. you can get a good water type by fishing in the house with clear water in peridot ward. well you can get goldeen and finneon. also if it is raining you can get a lotad at coral ward. well those are the few water types you can get early. lotad is the best water type you can get early. You can replace gloom with roselia/budew. you can get budew early just grab a rose incense from a doxy in peridot ward and walk to the end of peridot. budew will appear on sunny/clear weather days. roselia/roserade is way better than a gloom stat wise and move wise. if you do not like electrike just replace him with a mareep/ampharos. manectric is faster than ampharos but ampharose is more tankyand can take more hits and have a better movepool than manectric.

nope you cant kill scraggy by accident. scraggy will want to join you beat 3 pangoro which are lvl 50.
-
get rid of simisear he is gonna be useless late game you can add in a darmanitan in by this point because u can catch a luvdisc and trade for darumaka. darmanitan would certainly be better than a simisear because darmanitan has access to strong fire type moves and fighting type move(superpower). set the feild on fire and just try to take out ans many mons as possible with torkoal. that swap in to darmanitan and sweep the rest of his team. As for grinding.you can grind at grand hall. you can battle them trainers in grand hall again and again in episode 15. also ev train darmanintan in atk and speed. just train at slums if you want atk ev.
-
just get a hm slave don't bother teaching weak hms to your mons. i m sure you can manage with a 5 mon team. plus you can always swap back to a 6 mon team for gyms and bosses. The best hm slave is a bidoof/bibarel because it can learn both water hm and non water hm. yes you can replace and swap around hm as and when you need them in reborn but you are wasting a move slot of the mon in your team, so i still would get a hm slave makes things simple. Scrafty is better than pangoro imho cause it has Dragon dance and moxie to make it hit harder. so replace pangoro with scrafty. well yeah you could train up a darmanitan to replace heatmor. also you dont have to waste time mining for fire stone since i assume you used the free fire stone from mt pyrous. Well you can replace graveler with barbaracle,Archeops, carracosta if you still want a rock type but yeah replacing it with roserade is a good move. as many other said roserade with technician is just awesome. As for finding fire stone you can find it by mining but.. you will have to soft reset like hell to find it as it is based on luck. Vulpix was moved to a later part of the game. You can still get vulpix if you have a copy of episode 14 or older provided you did not save the litleo.
