Yep, heliolisk might actually help in this fight. Dry skin would actually help recovering as well, but it also depends on what the moves for Valarie's pokemon are. For all we know, she might have a coverage for electric too. YES SHING I'M ADMITTING THAT HELIOLISK IS USEFUL only because amphy isnt available before terajuma anymore tho >:V

Just went through the graphics folder and the sprite is just as big as the sprite is shown in the screenshot, so it's fine. The sprite is simply big on its own, it seems.

I don't know why it happened either, but I'm sad that it happened ;v; I know you said you wouldn't restart, but it's definitely worth it considering many things have changed, including some battles being easier or harder, but also a ton of new content and smoother gameplay in general. Maybe Jan can still find a solution for the save when he gets back, but I can't promise anything.

I just checked what was wrong, but i think an event sequence broke and made this happen. Were you able to go to the room on your left?

Err, I tried opening it but it seems like your save corrupted. I can't open it in debug mode either, sorry The title screen shows, but as soon as i try to open the menu screen it crashes for me as well, so I'm afraid I won't be able to help you with this.

1) The text speeding up is something essentials automatically does when the sentence is too long for the game to process, with as a result the sentence speeding up. It's something that only can be fixed through changing the script. 2) Has the random pokemon picker done this multiple times? 3) The pokemon not being healed isn't something I experienced when playing the beginning of V6, so this might be a glitch in your case... Unless this has happened to more people. This is an essentials error, so it's something we can't really do anything about. You just have to use an ability capsule.

There might be one you're still missing. She's not hidden in plain sight the whole time, so be sure to look around everywhere, even for hidden passages.

This is a bug that appeared to have happened to multiple people, so Jan will most likely look into this when he gets back.

Did you save in a safe location (i.e. pokemon center) before upgrading? If not, that might be the reason why your game is freaking out. If you did, then it might be that your save corrupted when it changed to V6.

Could you explain what you did when installing V6.1?

Did the Skrelp attack at all? If not, then it's something wrong with the data. If yes, then that's something Jan will have to look further into.

Remember, not each of them might be in plain sight. Are you sure you checked everywhere?

You might've not saved in a safe spot, which caused the file to either not work with V6, or it corrupted. If possible, revert to V5 and save in a Pokemon center, then try upgrading to V6.1 again. If that doesn't work, your file might be corrupted.
