I wasn't into competitive before rejuvenation either, and tbh, i had the worst trouble at first when playing the game, so that's definitely true. It's kinda funny to see how shofu plays it tho and how poor he often does, i'm not even gonna lie :V venam kept kicking my ass. psdkjgdlkfj.

speaking of shiny pokemon, i actually have a story to tell about my experiences with shiny pokemon lel so i encountered a shiny espurr way back when you could encounter them in amethyst cave, and i wasn't able to catch it because i ran out of pokeballs (which pissed me off greatly >:V) I haven't encountered a shiny ever since (so i haven't found one for... about what? 8-10 months?) see: well, that was until i tested v6. i encountered 2 shinies and i was so happy to finally find them again oh my god mild suffering was a thing that has occurred

It's because you have the PBS files, that's probably why. It didn't happen to me either until i got them, so there's that.

Definitely. You can expect a field effect as well as usual, so you should try thinking of what you can expect of amber's field and try finding a pokemon that can learn or has a counter for it :V

Actually, i already tested the battle before V6 was even in development for release, but yes, I did and i probably wouldn't have beaten it if it wasn't for ampharos. I can vouch that that leader battle really is NOT easy. took me multiple times (let's say... 6 or 7 tries?) to beat it (i actually had to get a different pokemon from jan to beat it bc i fucking sucked at that battle LMAO) ༼ ˵ ╥ ͟ʖ ╥ ˵༽ But yeah, grass pokemon are gonna be fried veggies.

Yep! I think the game is past the Alpha testing phase now and is in the Beta testing phase tho, so it probably won't be long anymore. I hope you guys are excited, because I could really tell Jan put a ton of hard work into the game.

The event simulation machine is known to be bugged, and as of right now there's no solution to fixing it, so it's better to simply not use it since it doesn't work anyways.
