After a day of going to the amusement park, having sore legs at the end of the day, playing minecraft and seeing how 3 friends turn salty because they fell in lava in minecraft multiple times and lazing around a bit while still suffering from sore legs, it's probably a good idea to go to sleep :V

The reason why he pulled out a gate was that he was afraid the MC would fix things in Goldenleaf before Ren himself could, which has been his goal for years-- He even said so before the battle with Narcissa starts! He probably got bitter of the fact that his goal has been achieved by someone else, he felt useless and angry, and therefore he joined team Xen, to carry out revenge on the MC for having snagged the glory from him. And believe me when I say that every character has their purpose to the story, as does Ren. Jan knows what he's doing with him. But more will be revealed in time, you simply have to wait. Don't jump the gun on a character that fast when there's still much more to the story that has yet to be told :V

Mawile is easily taken down with strong fire moves. If you have flamethrower or flare blitz, you're pretty much set.

To make a backup you have to search for your save. It's a file called game.rxdata, which can be found in your saved games folder. Just copy the file and paste it somewhere else, and then you'll have your backup :V But idk about that, maybe you should post your save in the savefile troubleshooting file for that.

He actually joined after the 4th gym, so he's a new member. There's actually more to it than the eye meets, but more will be revealed as the story goes on, of course! my suspicion is that ren is just super salty that the mc changed the ordinance in goldenleaf before he could and joined xen in a fit of rage but... there's more to it i think :V

Just back up your game.rxdata savefile and start a new game or continue on the original file if you want a different save. I do believe there WILL be a way eventually to have multiple savefiles, since I tested it before. jan tried adding it in at one point, but it was super glitchy so that won't come back for a while until he figured out how to fix it

A move tutor is needed to learn it ancientpower. You can also breed it onto swinub with kecleon, piloswine/mamoswine or dunsparce as the father. Kecleon learns ancientpower at level 21.
