I just knew Ruby would use her silver eyes against them! I kept mumbling "use your eyes" and then finally she did. :3
I am a little surprised that the lady also had silver eyes. I wonder what happened that she needs those goggles.

the chapter: amazing. more on Qrow dealing with the truth, an amazing new Grimm, Maria becoming a tutor to Ruby. as for her eyes, I think either the eyes damage over use it old age just got her extremely hard
