At the moment my own avatar is a placeholder so I'd be open to any suggestions really. OmegaRa1der:

I'm planning on taking Meganium all the way and while I understand things do outclass it I still want to use it. If it gets to the point where I can't use it at all then I'll stop using it but as it stands its been an invaluable asset to me in Reborn thus far. Thank you for the idea of a moveset though.

I've trained a lot of the Chikorita line during my quests throughout the Pokemon world but Reborn is a different place than the rest of the land of Pokemon and may require a different set than I'm used to training. I was wondering if anyone would like to give some some pointers on having a successful Plant Dinosaur in the world of reborn. Thus far, I've had no issues with her and she's gotten me out of quite a few jams and has been overall reliable as a starter. She just sort of stalls out most foes and I've had her faint only a few times. She's sort of destroying everything. I'm up to the fourth gym right now and I have her team mates so I'm not worried about the poison. Here's her Moves as of right now Nature: Quirky Characteristic: Mischievous Ability: Leaf Guard Move 1: Reflect Move 2: Synthesis Move 3: Magical Leaf Move 4: Poison powder I was wondering if I should make any changes since I know some more moves come up in her learnset that are useful. I find myself stalling out my opponents as they die to Poison more often than not. I'd like to be able to have a tanky bruiser build but I'm not entirely sure if that would work in Reborn. Any ideas? (Also if you need more information I can give it to you, I just don't have a set team right now other than Meowstic Female murdering everything in her path and I'm excessively training up most of the pokemon I have)

I'd like to think I'm a little bit of both Or I'm just crazy. So far I haven't had any problems with her so I'm happy with my choice. It just gets me to think outside of the box when it comes to strategies for certain fights. You know what's funny about it is the fact that nobody really knows what it entails until they get fully into it. I was already into the newspaper at my college when I started looking for my first internship so I had an idea, but there's a lot more layers to it. That and you quickly find out how important hits are to your income if you don't work for a big game site. Thank you all for your warm welcomes!

Now here's a question does magic guard negate Terrain effects as well?

Well at the moment my Team Is Bayleaf and (f) Espurr, female espurr. At the moment they're doing well as a tag team with Female Espurr sweeping while Bayleaf takes the harder hits. I'd like to have more than those two though. I just demolished Juliet with Bayleaf and Espurr

So I've come upon a Cleffa and I was wondering in the realm of Reborn what was more useful to have on the grand scale of abilities?. Magic Guard or Unaware? I've used both competitively before and I know how they work there and I have a pretty good idea of Clefables strengths and weaknesses as a Pokemon. I was just wondering if one ability was more useful than the other in reborn.

After about 13 resets, female one just popped up with a Rash nature which is Up Special Attack Down Special Defense, that scatters things ofte,n with own tempo. Would a rash nature hinder espurr at all?

Since Meganium will have screens it'll probably be best to use a female Espurr for type coverages. Chikorita Soldiers unite! I think I'll give Espurr a shot since I've always wanted to use one I just tend to get distracted by Gardevoir or Espeon more often than not. Using a female Espurr would probably help out with Meganium's weaknesses since she can learn moves that cover up type disadvantages. Can an event Espurr have the possibility of being a shiny? Also should I look for a particular nature or no?

Is she? I didn't know actually since I thought you couldn't get one till a lot later in the game. I haven't had any issues so far oddly enough with the Chikorita. Maybe it's just because I've used her so much I'm kind of autopiloting the whole "Okay here's the type of pokemon I don't send her out against." mode. I'm actually pretty big on Creative Writing (prose and such) as well and I learned journalism mostly because I've been wanting to find a way to making writing a career. I will say I have noticed my journalistic style has bleed into my prose a few times as of late which is why I may need to get a Beta reader again. I do get paid for views and shares so I'd love to be able to post up the reviews, editorials and news story I've written. Should I post it in a big archive post or post each article individually? (I don't want to be a jerk and spam the forums)

I'm noticing I'm getting that a lot. I picked the hardest pokemon to have as a starter didn't I? Not that I'd be surprised since I have the uncanny ability to do that in these sort of games

I just started playing Reborn today and I was wondering about Espurr since I've never used one in X and Y. Chikorita is my starter and I'm planning on keeping her around but other than her, I have no permanent team members in mind. (except maybe a Growlithe since its my favorite Pokemon) I was thinking of putting Espurr on my main team since it looks like an interesting pokemon to use. Should I use Espurr on my main team and if so which one as well as which ability?

Redangel here and I'm happy to lurk around these forums. I've been hearing about Pokemon Reborn for a while so I decided to Download it and give it a try. I'm going to be doing my own run of Pokemon Reborn with Chikorita as my starter since it is my preferred grass type in the series. (That and after using it so many times I sort of know it inside and out figured it was a safer bet for my first run of this game) I'm going to be popping up asking a few questions here and there since I'm trying to use some pokemon I'm unfamiliar with to make my adventure more interesting. A little about me, I'm a video game journalist who tends to play a lot of indie games, write editorials and do game reviews. Here's a fun fact, assigning arbitrary numbers to rate a game does not have any indication of how the writer feels about it, the review does by the language. I'm also a college graduate with my BA in Humanities and I love sharing knowledge with everyone! I just really like helping people learn and learning myself! Nice to meet all of you!
