Sweet of you to think so, but I just like having someone to take hits for me, and it's easier when they're all healed up. Despite his indifferent thoughts, Luka did feel a bit shy from Meredith's words. Looking away momentarily to hide his expression, he began talking "They'll be more jealous of what a great ally I have to defend me!" Luka nodded to Meredith, a smile on his face as he looked at the Soldier.

Luka watched as Ecquis escaped off to stay away from danger. His wounds seemed a bit too rough to leave unattended. Meanwhile, Meredith's wounds, while not severe, could use treatment. Holding his position, Luka grabbed the attention of the Sister and the Soldier, giving them a dance for motivation. "Careful out there." I rather like having people protecting me. Holds position and dances for Meredith and Mayanna.

Surveying the battlefield, Luka saw the Monk taking position nearby. While a simple greeting, Luka's smile shook a bit from hearing it. Don't call me Lou, you weird Monk. Regaining his composure, he returned the greeting back to him. "It is a beautiful day, Klarenfilia. Nice to see you cheery as ever."

With a gameplay timer of precisely 170:00, I've gotten what I consider the best skills for all of the First Generation units in Revelations. I can now start to do the same for the Second Generation units. Someone tell me why I thought this was a good idea?

Karol "Let's check out the commotion!" "That's not staying out of trouble, Bargus!" Karol ran alongside Bargus as she spoke. -- Throwing her bag away, Karol brought out her Rifle. "Looks like you need a little help, huh?" Karol shouted in Misara's direction. Bringing the Rifle up, Karol pointed it towards one of the attackers. "About time we see some action." A smirk appeared on Karol's face as she focused on the position of each of her enemies. "You're not getting out of this without a few gun wounds, ya know!"

"Is him your bodyguard or something?" "Of course!" Karol tried to focus, now wasn't the time for any snide remarks. A small error or slip in speech could get them both in even more trouble. "I wasn't happy staying home my whole life, so I decided to see all the sights in the world." She let out a sigh, trying her best to make her story believable. "As much as I hate to admit it, I'm not exactly the strongest girl in the world." Please don't notice the Sniper Rifle. "I needed a bodyguard, a good bodyguard that can protect me from scary ruffians." Karol patted her companion on the back, trying to look as friendly with him as possible. "And that's where one of my oldest friends, Bargus, came in." Karol cleared her throat, feeling sure of herself for coming up with a story. "Now, as you can plainly see, we're just a bunch of random travelers." Karol's tone grew annoyed, trying not to sound worried. Karol reached her hand out towards the angel holding Bargus' weapon. "Now, kindly return my friend's axe, and we'll be on our way."

Luka looked away from the front lines, trying to stifle a laugh from watching Ecquis miss the enemy. Oh gosh, that killed me! Looking back, he caught a glimpse of red liquid, and Meredith's spear through a Mercenary. Well, be glad someone's picking up his pace. Rushing towards the front lines, Luka took a position behind the line of allies. Looking around, he made sure that no one was close enough to attack him. With a cheer, Luka grabbed the attention of the Soldier and the Rider. "Once more, you both!" I bet that swordsman wants a fight. Move to Y4 and dances for Ecquis and Meredith

You'll find most critical hit animations have the character spinning their weapon or themselves in some way. Obviously, this means that they build up the power of kinetic energy to deliver a stronger amount of force behind their weapons upon striking their enemy. ...now pretend that is totally how you science.

Well, it's your birthday today, my fellow Atlantean. I'm glad to have been on your team for Nations, and also glad to have been able to talk with you during that time. While Nations might have ended long ago, I'm glad to have been able to make a friend like you from it. May we hopefully still be friends afterwards. Happy Birthday, Cyanna! And let's hope this year is a great one.

Luka looked at the girl, her eyes closed as she sat down. Perhaps she had chosen to continue praying. Eh, wouldn't hurt to stay and do the same, maybe. Luka sat himself back down, his back to a tree. Nothing to do until we go back, anyway. Luka closed his eyes, trying to remember the words to a prayer. This is gonna be a long journey.

While I don't fully know how to actually play it, I feel like I greatly enjoy playing Stall. I've the patience to play it, just need the prediction ability and teambuilding knowledge to play it well.

Karol remembered one detail about the relations between Demons and Angels. They had quite a bit of trouble between them, and the recent murder of an Angel representative only served to strain their relations even more. Perhaps that's why they're being so strict. "Hey, why don't you lay off my friend?" Karol reached over to grab Bargus's axe, failing to pull it away from the Angel's hands. She handled guns, not giant axes. There was a serious difference in weight between the two weapon types. Failing to take back the axe, Karol stood by Bargus, glaring at the shorter Angel. "And what's wrong with walking around with weapons, anyhow? You expect travelers to go around without any form of self-defense?" I'm carrying a highly advanced Sniper Rifle in my bag, and you worry yourselves over an axe?! "Or are you both just dense enough to believe a young girl like me can defend herself without any weapons?"

"My problem is..." Luka's speech began to slow down, realizing he really did have no reason. My gosh, I must have gotten a bit too angry. As refreshing as letting out his anger was, Luka realized his mistake as he looked at Hoshiko's glare. "Darn it." I was hoping these attitude issues were gone. Luka let out a sigh before he continued speaking to the Archer. "Look, I'm sorry for blowing up at you." Luka looked away, not looking the girl in the eye. "I tend to let out some 'inner thoughts' when I get annoyed or angry." Like when an ally pulls out a knife on me. Luka stood up, facing back towards the jailhouse. "I'll be on my way, if I'm bothering you."
-
"'Quick or dead', huh? I can probably run faster than you if I tried." Without a care for the Archer, Luka sat himself down with his back to a tree, leaving a short distance between him and Hoshiko. Probably not a good idea to try to sneak up on an armed person in a secluded area, though. Luka's eyes darted to Hoshiko's bow, looking as if it had been maintained recently. Man, that thing would probably hurt. Despite how painful an arrow would feel, Luka continued talking to the Archer, taking a more rough tone. "And if heroes are so good at working alone, why the heck was I there, motivating the rest of our allies around here?" Luka shot an arrogant smirk in Hoshiko's direction. "I mean, if you're such a good hero, I bet you could've taken down those soldiers all by yourself." Luka's voice took on a sarcastic tone as he finished speaking. "Easy enough for you, right?"
-
Upon seeing the steel of the girl's knife, Luka jumped backwards in fear, falling to the ground. A knife, even one that small, would leave some notable damage, especially with Luka's lack of any notable armor. Gosh flipping dang it, someone get this maniac away from me! The fear in Luka's eyes began to fade, once he realized Hoshiko recognized him as an ally. "Darn it, did you really need to pull a knife on me?!" Luka gave a sigh, getting up to stand on his feet. Stupid Archer girl. Luka didn't bother to answer Hoshiko's question. He didn't believe she even wanted an answer. "Sorry to interrupt your praying." Luka had an irritated tone to his voice, his smile away as he spoke to the Archer. "Maybe do it in the comfort of your own home, instead of a random forest near a jail house." Luka's inner thoughts came out, his sarcasm coming out as speech. "What are you so miffed about, anyway?" Luka was annoyed himself, after nearly getting stabbed by the girl.
-
Walking away from the rest of the group, Luka went ahead for a stroll in the small woods. All the enemy units had been taken care of, sans the Priest who couldn't even fight, so it was safe to have a stroll through the place. Ah, the calm colors of the forest. So peaceful... Looking to his surroundings, Luka came across a color unlike the green of the forest's foliage. Last I checked, pink wasn't exactly a color you see often in forests. Walking closer, Luka realized it was one of his allies, sitting alone in a small clearing in the woods. Oh right, her. That's... Archer girl. Darn it, what was her name? Hoshiko was silent, a surprise considering her lack of an indoor voice. Her eyes were closed, as if sleeping. I doubt she's sleeping in the middle of a forest. Then again, this girl is probably crazy enough to. His steps quiet, Luka assumed that the young Archer in front of him didn't hear him get closer. Without regard for what she was doing, Luka spoke without bothering to get her attention otherwise. "What the heck are you doing, exactly?"

"They're called Weapon Spirit Housings." Karol picked up a display part, a decorated hilt without a sword blade. Probably the most mundane housing, considering how swords are the easiest weapons to get Weapon Spirits onto. "Just add a spirit's consciousness to it, create the other parts of the weapon, and you can have a Weapon Spirit." A smile came to Karol's lips, reminiscing about when her weapon was first forged. "It's obviously a lot more difficult than it sounds. A lot of magical energy needs to be used to input a Weapon Spirit's consciousness into a weapon. And the housing may be cheap, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to even get a willing Weapon Spirit." Karol put back the display unit, trying not to damage anything. Cheap as they were, she'd rather not have to waste money on damaged goods. "The amount of work to create a Weapon Spirit is largely impractical sometimes. The only advantage to having one in your weapon is the ability for your weapon to act on its own." "Nothing interesting around here, though." Karol looked back to Bargus. "I'm done looking around. I'm gonna head back to the hotel. You can follow, if you want."

Luka looked at the keys, lying in front of the shackled Monk. Letting out a sigh, he picked up the keys, before walking to the Klaren's side. "Here, I'll get them off of you." Be glad I don't just leave you here after you grated my ears with that metal scratching. Luka grabbed Klaren's chains, unlocking the chains with the keys. "There you go, free at last." Now can you not get yourself chained to a wall again? Leaving the jail cell, Luka approached Meredith, a small smile on his face as he spoke. "Thanks for wanting to protect me earlier. Hopefully I can help you next time." Luka walked away, following Rosalvya out the jailhouse. Quicker we get out of here, the quicker I can rest for a bit.

"Well, since you're so curious." Luka gave a smirk as he faced Ecquis. "I'm from Dragao, just like the woman over there. I used to live as a bit of a performer in one of the trade cities." Luka spun around, giving his allies a short dance. "As you can tell, I drew quite a crowd with my dances." Luka let out a short laugh as he finished his explanation.
-
"What, already tired of leading the way?" Karol gave a smirk as she looked up at the Demon. Karol stood up, "Fine then. Why don't we look around at the outdoor stands?" Karol headed off, making her way to see the outdoor shops. Karol strolled around, stopping at a few stands. Shops for food, knickknacks, and so much more. As much as she wanted to maybe take a snack of some kind, Karol decided to wait a bit before eating. After a bit of looking, one particular stand caught Karol's attention. Never expected to find these around here. The outdoor shop was selling Weapon Spirit Housings, weapon parts used to contain the consciousness of someone like Karol. "Of course Angels would have these around." Karol spoke out loud, not realizing Bargus could possibly hear her words. "A good amount of magic is necessary to make good use out of these."

Luka's eyes looked away, not wanting to look at the old man. They took your daughter, huh? Must've been tough.. Luka gave himself a deep breath, before looking back at Hayden. Losing a smile would be unbecoming of a performer. "I promise that we'll do our best to find your daughter. You'll see her again, and we'll work our hardest to do so." Hollow words, but they'd bring the old man some joy, maybe. "Just tell me what she look like, and I'll try to find her."

Luka walked into the jailhouse, looking behind him as the prisoners were on their way. "Careful on your way home, you all." I don't want to have to rescue you all again. Despite his thoughts, Luka put on a smile, hoping to give a small bit of hope in the escaping prisoners. Hope always did feel nice. "Make sure to thank the ones who help you." Like me. Some of you guys were a bit of trouble to help out. Luka's eyes fell upon the old man talking to them. While the rest of the prisoners weren't in the best condition, Hayden didn't look to be very healthy for someone in a prison for people to be sent to war. "What's an old man like you doing in here?" Can this guy even pick up a lance?
