Hey Ame is back and the progress moved as well! Now I can go to sleep peacefully. White Peridot is another example of awesome Ame's work. So let's make a new word for it - its AMESOME!

Beware that you need to mine for Helix Fossil first. They won't give you missions to get Amaura/Tyrunt otherwise. Also Lord Helix is the Only True God.

All the good characters are former / present / reserve Gym Leaders or E4. Even some of the bad characters. I understand Ame wanted the Gym Leaders to have a backstory instead of being just a trainer in a gym though. It is a pleasant change from the normal games although it seems a bit forceful. What seriously raised my eyebrows though was how the kids from orphanage let themselves to be captured again so easily. I mean they are all Gym Leaders (some far above the player's level at the time) or E4 or a mysterious crazy-strong trainer (Anna). I just can't see them defeated by that doctor, Sirius and some grunts.

From Corey's Corrosive field guide: "Corey's ace, Crobat, is slightly harder than under the mist, as it can still hit poison- and steel-types. Try paralyzing it, and keep a good rock-type on the field, as it has trouble with those." - where can I get a rock-type pokemon at this point? If I'm not mistaken there isn't any cave accessible yet. As for Shelly, how does the rain work there? Is the bug from normal Reborn where she never uses Rain Dance fixed in Hardcore? Or is rain the default weather there? Can I use a Castform with Sunny Day or something to stop it? That should also change the field to Rainbow by the way, which might be useful as well..

While it looks that way at first glance there are some weaknesses to exploit. Maybe more severe than in some other gyms. Personally I think this will be another contest of speed like against Seel. If you have a dragon-type attack on a fast pokemon it can easily sweep anything Saphira sends out except for Dragonite. And to make things easier you can use Nature Power TM as a dragon type move. Even without STAB you get x4 boost because of the field + dragon weakness. I'm curious about what she will do against a Noivern. (Hopefully she will be more of a threat than Luna against a Heracross. Poor Luna.) Also fairy-type pokemon will be very useful here because of their dragon immunity. Just watch out if she has a Dragalge. Finally the field can be changed to Cave field where you can just collapse the field to kill anything. Or you can just change it to Rainbow Field like always.

Unknown island seems odd to me. I'd like gen 7 pokemon to be available throughout the whole game or not at all. People will want to try the new species but there won't be much chance to do so in the post game.

I'd like to see a game where you play as an evil character for once. Like starting as a grunt in some evil team or as a cultist in twisted religious group. Then slowly making progress to become an Admin or even later the Boss. Do you know any pokemon fangame like that?

Noel has one more weakness. As his battle happens outside you can wait for the right weather to help you. Sunny weather + Burning Field = Dead Noel. :-P The same weakness applies for Kiki as well although I have didn't try it yet. You can wait for sunny/rainy/thunderstorm weather and reverse it to create Rainbow Field and then just take Kiki down with Flying types.

The best thing to do against Florinia Flobot is to catch and train some birds on the Onyx rooftop. They work quite well against everything except Cradily.

Except we don't have Ice Beam TM yet and I suspect we won't get it any time soon either. So no Ice Beam Greninja.

Somehow she looks much cuter on the original colorless sketch. Her face on the sketch looks kind of melancholical and I fell in love with that. On the new image she looks as if upset by something. Depends on what you were going for of course. :-) Also is it just me or is her head smaller on the color image?

I'd like to do Eeveelutions run. Can you replace my starter with an Eevee? I don't want any special moves, nature, IVs or ability. Just a regular random Eevee. I'll just breed it like crazy. Or... maybe I should ask for 6 Eevees so that I can go Eevee-only against Julia as well. So yeah give me 6 of them please, each one randomized (not just 6 clones with the same IVs). I'd like to try an Eeveelutions-only run. Eevee is currently available pretty late for this. Please? :-)

There are not many other pokemon left. Aside from legendaries, pseudo-legendaries and dragons its just Shellder, Gastly, Slowpoke, Magikarp, Scyther, Skarmory, Gligar, Ferroseed, Fletchling, Honedge and Klefki. Plus some final evolutions like Magmortar and Magnezone - we will probably have to wait for those. Out of these I would expect Slowpoke, Ferroseed, Klefki and one more starter in EP 16. Maybe some egg-limited pokemon as well like Vullaby. I think that Electivire is already available if you get Elekid from the egg which means there is a bug on the availabiity page - http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/obtainable.html. So... still no Honedge / Skarmory / Togepi / Deino for me I guess. :'-( I really want to get my hands on those. And... maybe some mega-jewelry for my Heracross? Probably not yet either.

I understand this point of view. I just thought that with episodic releases you could get a bigger and more active community, bug reports and probably even some people to help you with the project. Of course this game is going to be great regardless! By the way should we expect this game in several months or rather in several years? I mean I'd normally expect years but the poll seems to suggest otherwise.

I have always only played with Battle Style Set so Mania mode is the thing for me. The range of 5 - 15 seems a bit too large though so I'd keep that 5 - 10. Trainers with each pokemon raised by only 5 levels would be easy, but trainers with each poke raised by 15 would be pretty much impossible to defeat. Instead I'd suggest inability to use potions, revives, restores etc. (battle items should be ok though, they are useless anyway) - That's how I've always played the main games and even Reborn to raise the difficulity. In Reborn Battle Style Set + inability to use items proved to be very challenging and very satisfying. Are you planning to only release the full game when it's finished or are you going to make chapter-like releases similar to Reborn? Adding custom OHKO moves seems bad because it will only further empower pokemon with high speed stat (because they will use it to kill anything they would be otherwise weak against) while making slow pokemon pretty much useless. Please keep balance in mind when adding anything custom.

Is there a version without the signature moves for Gym Leaders? I don't like them. I even dropped this game the first time I tried it becuase of them.

If this ever gets finished, absolutely count me in! Don't blame me for being sceptical, I've seen many ambitious games just die without ever getting finished. For each character you've also added a note about age in "Pokemon Symphonic Horizon 2: Dawn of a New World" - what's that? Are you planning a sequel as well or does the game time-skip?

I think Ame did that on purpose. I mean Hitmonlee can't even normally learn it. *prepares a water-hose to put out Ame*

As for what Mega will Saphira use I doubt it would be Altaria again (unless Ciel switches to Mega-Pidgeot of course). Mega-Salamence is probably for Heather. And Garchomp was already used as an ace pokemon of both Solaris and T3RR4 so no more Garchomp please. Personally I think that she will surprise us with a Mega-Charizard X, Mega-Ampharos or a Mega-Sceptile. Mega-Charizard X being the top candidate because of fire boosts from the field. By the way I think Terras RAWRCHOMP is a bit overleveled. Maybe it would be better to lower its level a bit and make it a Mega instead? I mean we already know normal Garchomp from Solaris. I don't mind facing another Garchomp when fighting Terra but as a Mega it would not feel so redundant.

Somehow I Iiked the simple Fly maps from other games much more than this. Also why is it so cramped? There is a lot more space on the sides.
