    Use Arcanine and Medicham. Arcanine will be a pretty good lead (level it up though) against Weavile. Medicham's wallbreaking capabilities can easily 1 or 2 shot Walrein with High Jump Kick. Replace Lunatone and Seismitoad. I can't really see the being of better usage than Medicham and Arcanine.

    Is Amethyst Cave the only area getting remodeled? I wouldn't be disappointed (considering it looks like fire), but reassurance would be appreciated :]

    Why does Swoobat not have Calm Mind? If you can get up a Simple Calm Mind and hit all your Air Slashes you'll be good to go. Train it to 48-49 ish.

    Gym Leaders have access to one signature move. They're disgustingly overpowered and some have secondary effects.

    Possibly Vaporeon to pass wishes? I would drop Iron Defense on Scolipede (give it Megahorn) and give Vaporeon Acid Armor, Baton Pass, Wish, Protect/Scald/Toxic.

    Miltank is before Gym 10. Not sure about Vulpix. Spiritomb has been axed to after the 10th Gym iirc. You need to get an Odd Keystone first (from mining, I think)

    He isn't playing V8 if the forest shrine is there then; the area was wiped in V8. So the version isn't the issue.

    Unfortunately, no. BTW, you get those moves from breeding iirc. You can get Megahorn through a Scolipede, and Knock Off from Skorupi? I think.
