Trapinch is hell, really. this one time i was nuzlocking Emerald and decided to grind on route 13. Trapinch appeared and killed everyone. i don't know how he did it but he freakin went there. basically anything with arena trap is annoying ok.

another fucking thing is recovery moves that have no restrictions. like i.e Sabrina's Kadabra, Falkner's Pidgeotto, Whitney's Miltank...basically anything that has Roost, Milk Drink, Recovery and SoftBoiled. it's kinda discouraging to think that you've got the battle won but then bam the foe heals itself. Rest has the opponent put to sleep, which is somewhat reasonable at the very least imo. you're just forced to PP stall. >:^(

like the things that commonly happen throughout the game that irritate you to no end. honestly, some of them aren't even reasonable. this is one of mine: "Pkmn Trainer Colress would like to battle!" "Pkmn Trainer Colress sent out Magnezone!" "Go! Excadrill!" "Excadrill used earthquake!" "Magnezone's Sturdy" "Magnezone used Thunder Wave!" "Excadrill is paralyzed! It might not be able to move!" "Pkmn Trainer Colress used a Full Restore" "Excadrill is paralyzed! It can't move!" rinse and repeat. like, oh my god. tedious as hell.

a FireRed rom hack called Pokemon Sweet is good too. the selling point are the new types and the map designs. it can be really refreshing when you're bored of the usual 18 typings. but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

E15 was really short imo idk it just feels as if there wasn't that much content to me. if it felt long it was probably because of the Water Treatment Plant puzzle, which was extremely tedious.
